Having finally just read David's book, and as a longtime fan of ABT and the NYC Ballet...and of Australia after two stays spanning 50 years to Darwin, Sydney, Goulburn, Wollongong and Port Douglas :>)!...I feel that even simply as fan I must add my thanks to the trio of "Sue, Paula and Megan" and other members of the Australian Ballet for helping David heal in the many ways that they did. David's book/experience is such an inspiring and heart-affirming story, something we all need, especially at this time. Be well Mates, and David!

So excited for David’s book 📖 I’m sure it’s going to be a tough one (highs and lows) but that’s the relatable stuff, the staggering realness of it all...it’s life; & a manner of relatability with these seemingly untouchable god-like beings that otherwise doesn’t quite exist for me. ❤️🙏👏

There are two secrets which I found useful for me well actually three.
1 . When doing pirouettes , finish "up" that is before you take your final position, end your turns in relieve, retire and stop facing the front before finishing in 5th or to the knee, the turns are one thing and the finish is another do not be in a hurry to finish and be out of control, having said that you must think that your leg begins just under the lower rib, that helps you pull up.
Thirdly ,this is for most a short lived career and has many ups and downs.
I often had nightmares of not being able to dance.
Good luck to you all, its a wonderful experience, hard work ,heartache and fear.
