I actually agree with you about Transcendent Kingdom, it disappointed me quite a bit. I did really love real estate too and I also think it's my favourite out of the three!
I DNFed Transcendent Kingdom on page 100. Those metaphors were sending me to my death and I kept wondering, "When will it end? I think we all get it by now" I also don't enjoy reading about science at all so that further took me out. I did enjoy Beautiful World, Where Are You a lot.
