Hi - it's a Garmin - but one that was done specifically for the UK Caravan and Motorhome Club. We bought it because you can set the dimensions of your MoHo and it won't take you down unsuitable roads - though it still does that, occasionally . I can't rule out operator error in any of the incidents and, in spite of the comments, we are pleased with it. ps - we were in Riel in Holland a couple of nights ago on our way to Scandinavia. We also have a satnav where you can set the vehicle dimensions, very useful. So you are passing though the Netherlands! Great! Which route are you taking? Through Denmark and the bridge to Sweden or a ferry from Germany? Looking forward to more videos. Have a safe trip. God speed.
We went down to the tunnel and have then driven from Calais through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Couple of nights in Denmark then arrived in Sweden today over the bridge(s). That's not cheap is it? Something like €130 for the Great Belt and then the Orresund. We knew it would cost that. I've done them before for work so wanted my wife to experience them. We'll get at least one ferry on the way back. Hope to get just south of Bergen and will then turn round and head home. I have a new toy - a drone. Not very confident with it yet but should get some interesting video with it.
Yeah the bridge is expensive but very impressive. Best deal I got was the ferry between Hirtshals (DK) to Langesund (N). Cheap and fast. I just made my drone video myself! It's in my latest video of Xanten. Enjoy Norway and Sweden!
I missed that one - we've had a couple of nights with no electric and my inverter has started to fuse the 12V so I've been a bit sparing with the laptop. You took it a lot higher than I've dared to do so far. I have visions of it just flying off or dropping from the sky into a lake! I need to overcome that.
