OMG, Moya, I think Erica may have dethroned you as Clearance Queen! She’s got a lot of planting to do. It’s great to see you out digging in the dirt again. Have missed your videos these last months. So happy you’re doing them again. I’m glad you are going to give us a tour in the spring. It’s going to be beautiful. That’s a great piece of property. She’s got so much space. I’m guessing the squirrels and skunks do a number on her tulips. Whenever I plant them I put the netting from onion bags or the plastic netting mussels come in on top of my bulbs so the critters don’t eat them. They get their claws hung up in the netting and give up. That being said, I do not plant the huge amount of bulbs you’re planting. I have white, pinks, black, magenta, purple, and a lavender rimmed white called Shirley (my sister’s name is Shirley). Glad to see she leaves the fallen leaves to mulch her beds and nourish the soil when they decompose. What a joyous video seeing the two of you working together and having fun. It was great! They say the bulb contains everything the bulb needs to grow beautifully. No need to fertilize. You need to be out in the boonies too. It looks beautiful. Think how much planting you could do…. What a good friend helping plant bulbs.

I don't use anything in the holes either, especially for tulips treated as annuals: the bulbs already have what they need to bloom one year. The display is going to look beautiful in the spring.

That's pretty much most of us probably this past month and regarding the moon garden effect that Erica has upfront.... I'm trying that as well. So every garden bed that is connected to my house I want just white, yellow, chartreuse, green, blue green. All the other garden areas can have any and all colors.

Good morning! It’s a hit or miss for us. So we treat them as annuals. You and I are in the same zone, however Our growing conditions might be different, because we have different microclimate.
what a fun episode! felt like i was back home... my parents live in glen arm, and before moving to seattle, i lived in the city and towson. it's not helpful this year but maybe for next, i put crushed red pepper in my bulb holes to keep the squirrels away. i've never lost a bulb due to squirrels. if i don't have bulb-tone, i use biotone for my bulbs. planting a property today with 2500 bulbs, all white in front and all the colors in back. cheers and thanks for sharing your friend's property. it's beautiful! merry christmas

They ate them ALL! 😢 I almost hated dears, but I can’t, they’re so cute. 🦌 🥰 I’m going to buy a few pretty metal fences in my front yard and plant them in a circle for next season. Now you have me talking garden and teasing me in this New York Cold! Chuhh!! Lol
Checked them into luggage’s as you do anything else lol. Southwest gives you 2 free checked luggage’s, a carry on and a personal item. 4 bags for me and 4 for her. All tulips and daffodils 😅😅

A moon garden is so calming. I am super high energy so I am happy to have a calm space to go to.
