This episode made me realize Eve is basically a green lantern and the Dr Manhattan of this universe. Also this was the first episode they made me cry.
"They killed themselves to hurt me" is such a BRUTAL line
This special easily has the best animation in the whole series so far. That fight near the end is insane

When Omni-man said, "That boy is never getting his powers," it sounded to my ears just like Hank Hill in 'King of the Hill' saying, "That boy ain't right."
The song witches they use for her growing up montage was me and my wife's first dance song at our wedding last year and it was SO unexpected and made her cry so much
The highway fight between eve and her siblings was so well done! You could really see her powers shine and that too as a teenager. I can just imagine what she can do with her powers as an adult.

@@Dracobyte while my parents weren't awful the way eve's were, their lack of understanding and the inability of a child to justify how their mind works was a major challenge growing up.

I just went to the comic book shop yesterdays and picked up all 3 compendiums. I’m only 5 issues in but I’m already surprised by some of the differences. Can’t wait to read more
Update finished it. Best comic book ever made. I really hope this show runs for 10 years and they finish it. It’ll hands down be the best animated show ever made

One thing that wasn't added but would have been nice is that, after Eve deletes the memories of the bad guys, she says: "For one moment I had the power. I could have fixed it. ..I could have brought you back. But I used it for revenge instead. ..I'm sorry mom and dad. ..I love you." I wish they kept her mournful lines.

I still insist Atom Eve is literally the best superhero name ever.
Invincible is 144 issues, not counting the one shots and spinoffs. Still a lot to adapt, and I’m here for it.
As a special school science teacher she was/would've been wasted in mainstream school (the electron stuff is UK A Level and accurate iirc) - also Atom Eve is Awesome > Invincible (at this point in time at least)

I realize now, after watching Adam Eve, for the second time with you guys is the fact that the only reason why Eve wasn’t on MIGA level was the fact of the trauma she had because of her father, stepfather, and and mother if they were actually more supportive they would be a totally different situation but she’s got a lot of garbage on her right now

That is a really good series! I think that is also animated by the same studio as Invincible.
@@Dracobyte I know it's from titmouse studios and that they teamed up with Critical role to make it. I don't know what studio made Invincible but the art style is similar.

This special episode was released before Season 2 but the animation looks Quite better than most of Season 2 ... So maybe it was developed after... my hope is that this will be the standard look for Season 3.
Various factors i found online about why the animation looks better is because:
-Bigger budget
-Only 1 special of 55 minutes allows for more attention to detail than 8 episodes of 45-50 minutes.
