I'm in same shoes! I had transplant in mid 2016. I used minoxidil for 4 years straight. I started with minoxidil 5% and 10% in later days. Then i noticed the minoxidil stopped working the way it used to. And my scalp became itchy. Now after a year, i see only my transplanted and some of the existing hair are there. I'm planning to go for another transplant.

@@benchabanehocine7809 hez just telling that he had transplant when he had baldness n good amount of existing hair.bt due to male pattern baldness he lost his existing hair as well aftr 2-3 yrs of transplant.so person should keep in mind while opting for transplant that with existing thick hairs u can get good results bt after some time due to MPB u will loose ur existing hair as well and then there would b lot of gap on ur scalp which he has shown.so basically u should keep all these things in mind.
N he sayin u should go for hair transplant when u have lost most of ur hair due to male pattern baldness.i think after 30

I disagree...I my view if someone is grade 4 or above then only getting ht makes sense...grade 3 and lower can be treated by medicines or the coverage can be done by some changes in hairstyle

That's why I said go for it when you are already 35 to see if your progression is above grade 3 then just accept the baldness otherwise you will regret all your life believe me. Successful ht means you should look good after transplant and in case of higher grade of baldness your head will have just few strands popping up on your head after few years which looks super weired.
@@HK-nd9fe bro I would recommend you to visit several RUclips channels of ht clinics and see their results of grade 4 and above. If you are doing it at lower grade and if your baldness is progressive you have to be on finasteride for long time and if you are getting it done when your hairfall is stable then you can avoid taking it .people have wrong expectations from ht ....it is a procedure to cover your baldness not to take you back in your 20' s. When you use the word regret , it is applicable for those set of people who want to have full dense hairs after reaching grade 5 or above which is totally wrong.even top doctors say that people should have realistic expectations from ht and the purpose of ht is to get your bald area covered. If people have wrong expectations then they will regret for sure.
