Has Threads FAILED Already?

Is Twitter competitor Threads already starting to lose steam? Despite this seemingly worrying trend, it’s far too soon to count Threads out yet. By other metrics, the app is continuing to grow its user base and traction in global markets, which, in time, could also boost its usage - especially as the app’s feature set improves. I couldn't imagine a course on threads being at all effective based on the user experience I've had on the platform. Every time I open it, the types of posts that surface differs, and most times, it ends up being mostly images which I've already seen from scrolling instagram. It's sad to see what's been happening with twitter since I made so many great connections there early on (like 2008-2011), but even with what's been happening this year on the platform, it's changed pretty drastically from what it had been. I'd wholeheartedly switch to threads if it tried to mimic early twitter a little more, but we shall see...we haven't even seen how monetization will affect that platform yet.

It's idiotic to believe anyone that is selling a course on Threads right now. No way anyone understands it from a business POV. I wanted to use it more for personal use, but have already seen my time there drop a lot. It's a bit clunky, to your point, and I'm just not there or seeing any engagement from anyone. Oh well. We'll see if they add features, etc. or will it just be another new platform that made a quick splash then died.
