Saw these guys open for Brian Setzer Orchestra in Buffalo the other night. They kicked butt! The guitarist spent lots of time tuning though (just like in the beginning of this video).
He obviously doesn't stretch his strings in enough when he re-strings that guitar. Unless you do that, the first time you touch the Bigsby the guitar will instantly go out of tune.
Yeah…guitar has to be in tune. All guitarists do it. You just don’t notice it. Never been an entire concert played without having to tune. Nowadays, they just swap the guitar for one that has been tunes by their guitar tech.
