- Things have been… strange, since you married the Blood Stained King. You expected to see him living up to his nickname, ordering executions and committing all manner of horrible atrocities.
Instead, his court is no different than your father’s was. The only real difference is that instead of visiting to learn the ropes and watch your father work, now you hold real power, with all the exhausting attention from nobles that it entails.
You find yourself… tolerating... the king’s company, more and more, as someone to commiserate with about the endless paperwork, and the even more endless stream of nobles who seek to curry favor with you.
And one night, you even find yourself drifting off to sleep beside him without the usual internal debate about whether you should stab him in his sleep.

Yep! If you look at earlier parts in the Captured By An Evil King series, you gave Crispin _quite_ a bit of trouble with your badassery! 😂
Fortunately for him, this time your wrath wasn't directed at him or his soldiers.
It makes much sense that his favorite fairytale is Cinderella.

I like to leave little hints about Crispin's background and personality in the images that show his favorite things. For example, in Part 3, it shows that his favorite flower is "Anything But Flanders Poppies," because the red of the flowers reminds him of seeing blood on the battlefield.
It's also a reference to In Flanders Field, a poem about WW1, which I use as inspiration for Crispin's opinions on war. Unfortunately, it's a pretty niche reference, so I'm not sure if anyone ever noticed it. 😅

Why, five years past, there was a snowfall taller than ten men stacked on top of each other! Not a single one of us could leave our dwellings until spring! Fortunately, we had enough food stored up, and the snow insulated us from the cold. Funny enough, it was the warmest I've ever been in the winter...

Ok I’m actually kinda pissed at our character because I think that was a really good point with the wood and I always love learning new stuff and that’s a really really smart way of stacking wood so I went “ok yeah that’s actually a really good point we should do that” but my character was very stubborn 😭 great audio though👌

Here is my theory, upon listening to the past audios ESPECIALLY the first part of this series, I can see that he has a different personality than what he has from this audio. He suddenly had a change of heart, actions are now only different, and attitude too? Not only that, it happened AFTER he was sleeping and we tried to kill him in this audio. And if you are wondering how he knows about this, I think the person who isekai'd or got reincarnated knows about this world as a novel or tv series making them able to go into character right after they woke up. In addition, they might also have memories of the king once they woke up!
Back to the topic, I watched too many isekai animes, manga, and manhwas so I can tell how he was acting in this audio. He suddenly had a change of heart and helped the villagers, the sudden knowledge of the hardships of the villagers, the reason for not wanting to be a part of the history books, and possibly the sudden act of kindness? It kinda says it all. Even us as the queen knows and feels that the king is NOT himself, as if he was another different person. And if you watched "Ascendance of a Bookworm " or " I'm a Villainess, so I'm taming the Final Boss " It has a similar scene where the main characters of these animes and the King have been isekaid. And the anime where the main character has been found out or caught not being the original or owner of the body like " Ascendance of a Bookworm " is similar where Us as the queen had our suspicions and might know if the King really is him or not.
This is just my explanation! I feel like his theory might be proved in future parts of this series if possible! Especially when we don't have the po of the King we will never know what he is thinking. But other than that I love your audios and keep it up! Oh and sorry for the long paragraphs lol ❤❤
