huge respect for you streamer guys doing this and show us casuals what is possible...for me my glyph is now 21 and i cant imagine to ever level it to 50 til the season is over as i have a real life and a job so it aint gonna happen ^^
the chinese player who cleared t25 were actually in a team, they are a small online gaming studio, some of them do the build-researching, some of them do tests and runs, it's their full time job, so thats also the reason why he's got a level 140 blood of tear, since they are on a rotation for leveling the glyph

But overall I’d like to see Blizzard change some stuff about AOZ if they want to consider potentially adding this as a permanent game option at some point.

On the other hand, this is D3 fishing gretater rifts once again and Blizzard is selling it as a "new" endgame and require feedback at the same time which is hilarious to me. However, the best thing that came out of this refurbished content is international collaboration.

Congrats to them. I enjoy this hard grind, I do wish xp was a little more giving for the glyph but other than that I think it's fun. The grind is for some and not for others.

Awesome! Have a quick question, Rob. Can you explain to me how Aspect of the Elements works with Barb? Do you just get the extra damage half the time since physical is only in one set or is there something thats giving you the extra damage 100% of the time? I've been using inner calm the whole time but since I'm always on the move, it obviously doesn't work efficiently.
Can you snapshot disobedience on Amulet then switch to Banished Amulet? Or does snapshotting only work on effects that are persistent like Elements aspect?
against multiple enemies and elites its easy to get fury, and it is especially easier when you have your shouts up. dunno how to deal with one singular elite though.
I think he is using Tibaults in this, but for the damage more than fury gen. Main way they fury gen is with weapons master legendary node and Furious Impulse skill. Both give fury when swapping weapons. It works really good with the Whirlwind - HOTA rotation but still is effective with just using diff weapons for your basic and hota.@@aname.whatdidyouexpect1877
Against one elite your shouts should be on cooldown…. But you run mob to mob and you would just pull that elite to you. You don’t fight single enemies you pull from mob to mob
Hey Rob - love the content! Do you ever sleep though? I know you guys have all been 100% focused on pushing T25 but I wanted to know if you've gone back and seen which HOTA build is best without ubers for AOZ pushing?
I’m curious how far people have made it without any Ubers. I’ve done tier 3 without any Ubers and without any tier 21 glyphs, and can definitely do more with more practice. So just curious if anyone is playing without them and how far they’ve been able to make it.
@ds10484 t9 might be the wall, as t10 will be a big jump. Without ubers, a lot mechanism you see in these videos would not work. Also, both damage and survivability are questionable.
The fact that the new glyph doesn't apply to all classes is really bad, something that we level for hours and hours and then lose without any immediate reward, due to the effort, and future reward for the difficulty, and then poof with the new season . I'm sorry but this is ridiculous, blizzard needs to fix this. Congratulations for your consistency in keeping us updated on everything clearly and quickly. N1 Rob!
Copy the paragon board and make sure your whirlwind ability is bound to your one hand weapons and hota is on 2h. This allows the weapon switch which gives fury regen. You can change weapon bound abils when changing skills on hot bar.

I think also the elixir of resourcefulness might have a factor. Weapon master node restores 4% fury of max fury so with 50 fury increase of max you get 2 fury per switch too + the resource regen affixes
With that exploiters aspect, doesn't the enemy have to be the one that is unstoppable to get the damage bonus on them? how do you get the enemies to be unstoppable to get the bonus? or is the aspect just worded poorly?
Absolutely amazing! The most exciting race in D4 to date is over. And China has won it! Not only the first to finish t25, but also provided everybody with the best build in this game ever. This build is so much fun to play, it combines hota, ww, and walking arsenal. You don't wait on a timer anymore but generate overpower yourself. Barb has never been more fun to play.
Funny i remember in a interview blizzard said something about steering away from d3 , but hey were back to d3 damage numbers. Looks like the community misses d3 numbers😂.

He had 12 healing pots so I assume he was playing with Tibaults. I doubt he would of given up a DR slot for +healing pots if he was playing with regular pants.

Although on my barb im able to run t22 can’t get past that atm running tibaults there as well but I’ve got all the Ubers so the barb has a much easier time with all the extra Health pool

Barb so stronk :D Most dps and most survival. And among the best in mobility. And the most item slots to play around with as well. Was watching wudijo and he needs to split the Bloodseekers to stand a chance without a Selig on a rogue, meanwhile barb facetanks all three without :D
Before you even think about to going full nolife and pushing Hard for the t25 clear ....you have to get those few uber uniques first and learn about snapshoting and level the glyph 😂 and you can maybe just play fulltime on the weekend 😮
I think it's cool that people have found a way to beat the content. Although it is concerning that the only way to beat the content is to exploit multiple snapshots and broken multipliers to do so... I'm thinking blizard either can't easily fix these exploits, or they just want to let people have fun before fixing many of these glitches.
Don't forget the Chinese are the biggest exploiters of the money and item duplication... Those two guys he's talking to have every UBER because they're fucking cheaters. That's on Blizzard though because they're just dogs hit programmers so... Idk... Just doesn't feel authentic watching cheaters complete content.
Also, they put the time in grinding this shit, but when it's as easy as walking through AOZ T14-20 because you had the best gear from cheating.... They got the glyph to high levels only because of that.... That's some bullshit
I think their new philosophy is to let it chill for the season, BL sorc is definitely bugged, and basically every vampire power is bugged, they're not worrying about it until next season, pretty cool

I’d be impressed if people were doing a Tier 25 on a build that wasn’t broken af. So basically a Druid then as every other class has broken builds. I’m a Sorc main btw.
There are cool things about AoZ, but they really missed the mark on the time needed to xp the glyph. I was pretty investing in D4 before AoZ, had all ubers but grandfather and well selected other gear with lots of swap options. Even with the increased hotfix hp, its too much of a grind. I tried like 5 more runs of AoZ to get a benchmark of how long I thought it would take and then walked away after playing daily for months. It should have been less than an hour per glyph level. I would probably have grinded out the level 50 glyph at that point. But when the content creators are saying they aren't interested in the grind on the scale it is, it is definitely way off. And even worse than those creators not playing because of it, several of them have dived right into Path of Exile's new season which all of their followers then see and at least consider giving their competitor a shot. I have been playing and having fun with PoE, and there is a lot of brilliant stuff in its design. If PoE's onboarding were not so atrocious, D4 would be in a lot of trouble. A person has to have watched like at least 15 hours of video on PoE to be much ready to play it in a way where they won't bounce off of it. I imagine enough of Season 2 was a good step forward that a lot of people that played Season 2 will at least come back for season 3 or 4. But if they have another fumbling moment like this coinciding with a big release of a competitor with better onboarding like Last Epoch looks like it will have, D4's long term stickiness may be in question. It is very frustrating as Blizzard seems to keep making the same mistakes. With AoZ, in a bid to capture hundreds of hours of time from each person, they end up pushing lots of people away. They make a new holiday helltide...without any density increase so it feels mind numbingly boring.
This is when allowing class wide leveling on same glyph more reasonable to clear this kind of content. Classic Blizzard fashion to just increase difficulty 100x times and call it impossible...um yea that sounds discouraging.
It's a sad day when whirlwind became a basic skill used for hota. On it's own whirlwind is doing no damage. If you have shako, grandfather, Tibaults, magnum opus, 6 points in wallop and the tears of blood glyph lvl 10 you can do half of the damage you could in pre-season. In season3 whirlwind will probably get even worse. And when they nerf shouts whirlwind is dead.
so everyone will not make a barb because the game has restricted AOZ for barbs only no other class can do it might aswell remove all other classess.. lol every class should be viable to beat tier 25 AOZ which is what keeps the game fun and people can clear it with their favorite characterrr
Im not sure that hota/ww is really that necessary to get to tier 25. The glyph is way more important. Ive been using an altered hota/lunging build instead of hota /ww. Snapshotting elements and accelerating. Currently on aoz tier 17 with glyph only at 22. Already hitting for 1.7+ billion as it is(3.5 billion with blastwave.) Lvl that glyph boys

I think so too but need Glyph on Sorc. Probably close around level 180-200
i will wager that it wont happen. sorc does 1/10 the damage that barbs do... and barbs can barely scrape by.

You don't push aoz without uber, not gonna work. This is an end game mode designed for players that already collected all uber, maxed everything.

my glyph is lv16 can I beat lv20 solo?
How do you keep the fury at max without Tibault? I copied it, with every resource gen and other fury stats, but can't hold my fury.

You can roll +3 or 4 life pots on defensive pants to.

IMO, D4 has revolved back to what D3 is now, it just has slightly different physics and better art style/graphics.

That's on Blizzard though because they're just dogs hit programmers so... Idk... Just doesn't feel authentic watching cheaters complete content.
Also, they put the time in grinding this shit, but when it's as easy as walking through AOZ T14-20 because you had the best gear from cheating.... They got the glyph to high levels only because of that.... That's some bullshit
I think their new philosophy is to let it chill for the season, BL sorc is definitely bugged, and basically every vampire power is bugged, they're not worrying about it until next season, pretty cool

I’d be impressed if people were doing a Tier 25 on a build that wasn’t broken af. So basically a Druid then as every other class has broken builds. I’m a Sorc main btw.

There are cool things about AoZ, but they really missed the mark on the time needed to xp the glyph.
I was pretty investing in D4 before AoZ, had all ubers but grandfather and well selected other gear with lots of swap options. Even with the increased hotfix hp, its too much of a grind. I tried like 5 more runs of AoZ to get a benchmark of how long I thought it would take and then walked away after playing daily for months.
It should have been less than an hour per glyph level. I would probably have grinded out the level 50 glyph at that point.
But when the content creators are saying they aren't interested in the grind on the scale it is, it is definitely way off. And even worse than those creators not playing because of it, several of them have dived right into Path of Exile's new season which all of their followers then see and at least consider giving their competitor a shot.
I have been playing and having fun with PoE, and there is a lot of brilliant stuff in its design. If PoE's onboarding were not so atrocious, D4 would be in a lot of trouble. A person has to have watched like at least 15 hours of video on PoE to be much ready to play it in a way where they won't bounce off of it. I imagine enough of Season 2 was a good step forward that a lot of people that played Season 2 will at least come back for season 3 or 4. But if they have another fumbling moment like this coinciding with a big release of a competitor with better onboarding like Last Epoch looks like it will have, D4's long term stickiness may be in question.
It is very frustrating as Blizzard seems to keep making the same mistakes. With AoZ, in a bid to capture hundreds of hours of time from each person, they end up pushing lots of people away. They make a new holiday helltide...without any density increase so it feels mind numbingly boring.
I knew 100% that crowd control aspect was gonna be meta. Shit looked too good not to use, I just don’t understand all the sources of CC.

This is when allowing class wide leveling on same glyph more reasonable to clear this kind of content. Classic Blizzard fashion to just increase difficulty 100x times and call it impossible...um yea that sounds discouraging.

It's a sad day when whirlwind became a basic skill used for hota. On it's own whirlwind is doing no damage. If you have shako, grandfather, Tibaults, magnum opus, 6 points in wallop and the tears of blood glyph lvl 10 you can do half of the damage you could in pre-season. In season3 whirlwind will probably get even worse. And when they nerf shouts whirlwind is dead.

Im not sure that hota/ww is really that necessary to get to tier 25. The glyph is way more important.
Ive been using an altered hota/lunging build instead of hota /ww. Snapshotting elements and accelerating.
Currently on aoz tier 17 with glyph only at 22. Already hitting for 1.7+ billion as it is(3.5 billion with blastwave.)
