If you haven't played next gen those folks got more say at all. I'm taking Next Gen, mainly because of the freedom you have with the Player Builder unlike them capped ass pre made builds on last gen. You can damn near make exactly what you're looking for this year and don't have to pick a Specific Pie Chart to do it. Every category can get Hall of Fame badges, the graphics of course, player movement feels realistic and not arcadey (although people like that unrealistic movement). I can go on but I'll just say it's also Next Generation that's why it's better. XBox1 and PS4 don't have the same nostalgia as a XB360, PS2, PS1, Sega Genesis, N64, etc...so I really have no reason to wanna go back to those consoles except to play with people who don't have Next Gen yet.

if everyone is a 99 though then wouldn’t you have to prove your skill with the actual controller, instead of being better just because you have a better build than someone? having a different build should play a factor, but it shouldn’t determine some outcomes of the gameplay. actually being good at hand-eye coordination and having good iq should determine who’s better at the game

If no one had them they would be the next thing coming. But they are currently available to be purchased.
