As a english literature i have always understood my classical literature part in comparison with indian mythology. It almost feels like same stories written from a different perspective. Overall it is always a great pleasure to read classical literature and feel connected to your own mythical believes.

Every religion can't be true. Either one religion is true or every religion is man made. The core teachings of each religion contradicts the teaching of another. For example- Islam says that there is only one true Creator whereas Hindu's believe in polytheism. Eating beef is allowed in Islam but is sin in Hinduism.
