I have a couple of theories. I have always believed that the real reason why Henry quit being Kid Danger was out of embarrassment. At the fact that Charlotte and Jasper both had plans for college and were leaving for the big world. While he failed high school and has no plans. He probably felt like a loser and left out, as he was the only one staying in Swellview. He literally had the talk with Ray AFTER he found out about Charlotte and Jasper’s plans. If they didn’t have any plans and were staying in Swellview, Henry WOULD have continued being Kid Danger. After watching the episodes of Danger Force where Henry appears, I believe he secretly misses being Kid Danger. In the Return of the Kid when Ray got excited about going to a nail salon, Henry’s response was “Everyone thinks Kid Danger is dead”. I think he THOUGHT about coming back as Kid danger, but he had to play dead. Also, how come Henry NEVER corrects Ray when he calls him Kid and not Henry? If this movie happens, I think Kid danger needs to make a comeback. Because if the movie is going to be about Henry tracking Drex, I think he should do it as Kid Danger. Why? Because his history with Drex began as Kid Danger and should officially end with him as Kid Danger.
The reason why season 3 of Danger Force had lower ratings that 1 and 2 was because Nickelodeon chose to release them on Wednesday Nights instead of Saturday's. Nickelodeon Sitcoms going back to the 90's and 2000's have always been released on Saturdays because the weekend is often when most kids watch TV.

I feel like danger force will have at least five seasons in total because the characters are growing up amd will want to do their own things like henry but I don't think that they will just cancelled the franchise maybe there is another project after that also danger (for me) its kinda lacking on there info of their personal lifes there is no main character but four and we don't see much of a change since season 1 its mostly action movie even though their parents are getting involved a lot also they don't upgrade their powers like something more a new move something overall im watching it sometimes 💞
