True bro, I spent few months learning MERN and one thing i realized is that opportunities are very less compared to JAVA. I spent two months searching openings for MERN and the one's i found the pay was wayyy to less. I'm saying 7k a month! Even house maids gets paid better than that. But on the other hand, it's really easy to find job openings for Java devs

In java no jobs oppertunity for freshers, this is my personal experience.10% small.company works on java and remaining big companies use java and they dont prefer freshers they need 5,6 year experience.its not easy to get job in java.i am the one who faced same problem.nit students or any students who have strong command on aptitude test they can go for mnc as a fresher to work in java otherwise no chance. Depend on your fate then and be a jobless

I would say go for Java Sring framework because hard things give you better future and obviously it will be not that easy. Java is complicated but it will become easy as you will start building logic more and more by yourself. But still you have to learn JavaScript alongside of it as it is mandatory language for frontend.
I am also a mern stack developer but i will suggest to go for spring boot since the project which requires spring boot in their tech stack they generally pay higher which is why spring boot devs gets higher packages than node devs
Java has the highest market capture 65% in big tech. I have knowledge of both springboot and express but when it comes to microservices I just get confused how to achieve it in node js. I can create simple rest API in node js which is very easy

exceptions are not the examples. They may be using NodeJs for their own some specific reason, but there a lot of companies in India that required you to know JAVA. I and my friends has been rejected for not knowing JAVA multiple times. That's why I know it first hand.

But I would say rather than fighting for which tool is better focusing how to use what and when makes developer better.
