@@LamarjorieQueenuhh I haven’t played as downpour scugs, but from what I know of me being in arena with my friend spawning things for me to kill, if there’s a flat floor, lure them there with a spear in hand, and when the red is abt to shoot( with their mouth open), lay on the floor and spear. This is only from my experience, and I don’t have Downpour so I don’t know the differences :( as another option, just let them lizard scrap I guess, or crush them with your weight if you haven’t tried that :/

It’s worth noting that after 3 or so spear hits, a vulture will stop attempting to bite, and will try to retreat back to the sky. However if you take the mask off, this will not occur and not only will they remain aggressive exclusively to whoever took off their mask, their bites will kill instantly. Also noteworthy is that if you manage to de-mask a vulture, and it returns to its den without dying, that mask less vulture can return later, even in future cycles, and will *immediately* go straight for your throat.
Funny thing is, vultures can and absolutely will demask each other. My first play through in industrial there were at least four vultures that hated each other, and I know this because when one came down for a lizard, another came down for it, another came for that one, and another came for the third one. Absolute beauty
Good guide! Though it should be noted that almost anything might leave you alone if food is chucked at it, also that tight spaces are a vulture's worst enemy
Also, vultures start attempting to run away when they’ve been speared 3 or so times, and stop attempting to bite you. Unless you knock their mask off, then they continue to attack you, with lethal bites.
1:14 you are using a mobile apk...... or something else maybe.... I do not know, but I know that those are mobile UI elements! I know because I have that same kind of device, with that exact same kind of layout! But with that being the case how did you put in the test arenas??! Please tell me I wish to know...
@@TheInfectedGamerYT from my guess, they’re using sandbox/arena probably with the beastmaster mod, that lets you spawn in things and creatures you found in-game. (Mods included, and with creatures you haven’t found yet in arena)
I use ArchiverZ, it's basically the same thing as the file explorer in windows but on mobile, so i can put mods and arenas in it! I downloaded the normal apk, and put the dlc file into it with it. It worked!
@@Caramelorainworld same!!!! Can you Please make a tutorial??!! Wait, is ZArchiver and ArchiverZ two separate apps? Wait... you have Downpour too! Where did you get it?!
You actually CAN spear lizards without flipping them. All lizards will open their mouths when they get close enough to you, and when this happens you can spear them in the mouth for extra damage by crouching, and throwing the spear halfway through the crouch animation. It takes some practice, but works very consistently once you get it down.
My personal favorite vulture counter (and counter to everything else in the game) is actually jellyfishes. I mean... it's a reusable stun EMP that gives you a 5 second window to stunlock pretty much everything even with only one spear. It takes a little bit of getting used to since their throwing arc is way different from rocks and spears but if you can master Jellyfish throwing, you can pretty much beat any creature in a 1v1 (yes, even red lizards). On top of that, you can also eat the jellyfish in case of emergencies, and it can be infinitely re-used (unlike explosive spears.)
dropwigs can be dodged by slide-pouncing (hold down then press jump immediately once you start, then jump near the end of the slide and stop holding down immediately after you jump iirc)
@@Caramelorainworld mhm, just , most lizards, expect Reds (they don’t care), Blacks (lizards, bc they’re blind) and Greens (they’ll just ignore you) :P There are some other things, like how blues are extra afraid, as being the weakest lizard but will be aggressive if really really hungry or smth, As short, most lizards will be afraid for a bit, with minor details.
that like very newbie tutorial advanced movement allow you to kill most of that things easily, up to top tier predators for dropwig you can slide under it to triger and kill it most lizors can be killed by slide n spears (and reds too if you good enough) also enviroment can help or kill you for example knock lizor with rock while it climb above abyss is free kill
red lizards can't be flipped over by rocks
And they use cheats, where they have death hitbox around their head and vs other creatures they have rapidfire bites. They are truly a hacker lizards
In fairness they said “most common creatures” and reds are very rare even in hunter aren’t they
