    Hey there, nice footage. Would be interested in a few words to compare the Raptor vs Machine. Two main questions: 1) For what is it worth to get the update to a machine? I know the kite is quite different, so asking more about a personal user note on this.
    2) Which size(s) did u fly your raptor before and which size did u get the machine in? Is there a differenve in normal power, high or low end performace, that u recognized?
    Also: Would u be able to say which size u'd use of the RPX in wind where u usually used a 10m2 of the Raptor?

      Hey Michael! Thanks for your reaction! During my sessions with the machine I noticed the following differences;
      - the first thing I noticed when jumping with the machine is that the kite pulls you more vertically, it pulls you straight up in the air. I love it !
      - the machine seems a bit faster en it’s lighter. It makes the kite recover much faster after kiteloops. Despite the lightweight the kite is still super stable in high gusty winds, just like I used to with the Raptor. So it had a good high end.
      - The low end of the Machine is increased. I can have a super fun session with the 12m machine in winds from 15-20 kts.
      - the bar pressure is a little bit lower then the Raptor but still enough to feel the position of the kite when jumping.
      - The Machine gives even more hangtime then the Raptor.
      For the sized; I had a 8,10 and 12m raptor and have now the same sizes for the Machine. Beside the Machine, I have a 9m RPX for kiteloops and practicing unhooked stuff.
      For the size distance between the Raptor and RPX. You can compare a 9m rpx more with a 8m raptor instead of 10m Raptor.
      I hope I answered your questions, if you want more info please let me know !!👊🏽

      @@Roepstek Thanks for the info, that was super helpful and is in line with other first impressions of the machine, that I read. Thanks a lot.
      Maybe one more question: I have a 8 and a 10 raptor. I was thinking about a 12 or 14 RPX/M recently to enlarge my setup and practice more unhooked in lighter wind. But I guess that doesnt really make sense, since the gap beteeen the 10 raptor and 12 rpx/m seems to narrow. What do u think?

      @@michaelwahl5698 no problem man! Yes I agree. Back in the days I had a quiver with a 10m rally and a 12m rpm en they had almost the same windrange. Better option would be the 10m raptor plus the 14m RPX. The bigger sizes of the machine are also interesting for lighter winds.

    I VE 8 MACHINE AND 11 RPX...but i think that rpx in medium big size ( from 11 and bigger) its a little bit more fast and light, i try both but i don't feel huge difference in terms of hangtime, ar higher of the machine but rpx with 3 struts more light and faster)...so i think to land trick with a kiteloop ( not megaloop) with rpx ( in big size) it's more " friendly"...

    • @gaetanomenzano2950

      what do you think ? what you suggest between both ? and what size : medium big ( rpx or machine), small ( rpx or machine?)

    • @Roepstek
      @Roepstek  3 года назад +2

      Yeah, the bigger size RPX, are a bit faster, because of the 3 struts. I think the best kite depends on what a riders needs and wants tondo with the bigger size. More hangtime (machine) or speed and the ability to unhook (RPX) for example. But it really depends on personal demands🤙🏽🤙🏽
      Personally I am also interested in experiences with the bigger sizes Machine. There are a 15m en even 17m special for light wind!!
