YAY!! Thank you for doing this video!!!! I'm looking to book ~3 days for a destination experience with my small wedding. Much cheaper to rent a nice Airbnb for 3 days than traditional wedding packages + hotels, etc.

Exactly... This is my plan. I'm praying for a space by the water, enough space for me & future hubby & the parents/grandparents of ours.

I really appreciate how straightforward and honest you are with your advice! Sometimes with wedding planning, we can develop a bit of tunnel vision. Along similar lines of Airbnb weddings, would you be able to do a video on weddings at public parks (likely you need a city permit, consider weather, where to do your reception or alternate reception ideas)? Thank you!

Such a good topic to go over! We're staying at a rental in Lake Tahoe in few weeks and when we reserved it and said we were getting married they messaged us to make sure we knew they do not allow weddings or formal gatherings at the property, even with only 6 people.

As a vacation rental owner in the Florida Keys, your points are 100% spot on and you can even do a Part 2 on this as it is very popular and still so much to discuss.

I don't understand why anyone would try and trick a host?! Your most important day and you're starting off on a bad foot by doing such a deceitful thing and could be memorable for all of the wrong reasons!!! Thank you for this video as you have mentioned things that people may not have considered. ☺️

Probably home & away is better. For larger groups...because arbnb wasn't letting people do that since last year

I was looking for airbnb's to host a small intimate wedding ceremony + reception and just found out that they have a global ban on all parties and events at airbnb listings, including a cap on 16 guests 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Aw, hopefully it will be lifted this summer!

Very helpful info I haven’t thought about Airbnb’s actually but it’s def an option!!! You would think that the important points you made are obvious and common sense!! I’m sure you had to say those things for a reason lol

Hah yeah I *just know* there are people who are willing to trick home owners, but they are only going to get themselves into trouble down the road!
