That's crazy, you were going through your intro/monologue, and I was thinking too bad everyone sleeps on hurndig!!! I got extremely lucky and pulled him and a 5 star soul in month two of playing this game, he's a major beast! But seriously, I feel like hurndig is criminally underrated, not just for debuffs but also for his damage and ability to just chew through wave content with extra turns.
How do you build him ? I have him maxed but survivability is rough
Hes not underrated, hes just old so not too many talk about him, hes used alot in dark fae, early spider , FK normal and stuff like that
Not to mention he needs 14 books!!! Have fun w/ that!
@@theripperthetearror2130 14 books is fine since hes preety deservant of those, but he just isnt as unique as he once was is all, still a good champ
Hurndig is my boy, glad he is finally getting some love, first leggo on my account over a year ago and I still use him in most dungeons (seer team), hydra, and even arena when I need the aoe dmg, absolute unit and I love pairing him with Krixia in hydra with that dec acc and increase res, makes building res so easy for my teams
With the sleep debuff artifact can you land it with any attack of the character or its always the A1

Darn! I wish I had some good Merciless gear to try out on Hurndig, especially with the free gear removal this weekend. Unfortunately I will have to keep him in his current set which is Swift Parry and Perception. I was sitting on some really good Swift Parry gear and thought I'd give it a try on him. CR=115/CD=116/SPD=194/ACC=251 and I still don't have an Amulet or Banner for him. Yet with only 5* of 6 ascended, only at level 42, no blessings and no mastery's yet, he still does a ton of damage. Thanks for the tip Ash, I am definitely going to bookmark this video for when I finally do get some good merciless gear.

Try to get CR down to 100 and CD up maybe

Use reflex until you have 7 pice merciless

Glad to see my angry little man getting some love. He was the first fusion I did in the game, and I still use him literally everywhere as my primary DPS guy.
hay dude, I have question about Plarium Play. mine is not working and I did multiply things to fix it but, its stucked and not loading, do you have same problem like that?
I don't use him enough. I've got 2. It was one of those weekends where you got 2x sacreds on Friday, 2x voids on Saturday and 2x ancients on Sunday. I pulled him from a sacred on Friday and got him again on Sunday from ancients.
I have Hurndig myself, haven't used him myself much either, still rank 5, been planning to rank him up in some point, but i have so many other champs first on the line, and I already have 2 dwarves on rank 6, Geomancer and Keeyra, and as a free-to-play gamer I haven't had that many opportunities yet to up him. I want to keep all faction at the same level, when it comes to whom I am going to rank up to rank 6 next.
I wanna see a reflex / merciless combo. Does it go to a 60% chance to reduce cooldown or does it double proc on 1 skill or 2 seperate skills

I was so excited when I first pulled hurndig... he was pretty much the reason I was able to auto farm dark fae.
Sicia Flametongue also has decrease defense and weaken, given it's conditional but it always seems to land for me. Her only flaw is she's so squishy :'(
Ash let's try shieldguard on with merchiles and reflex set i think its will fun on hydra use shamael for some boost even on another content is fun like spider or waves😂
He was one of my first legendarys. I maxed out all of his mastery and can't believe the damage he does!

I pulled hurndig a couple months into the game and used him everywhere. As soon as I got lydia he went to the vault. Maybe I'll pull him out for my #2 or 3 hydra team now

Man, I've been using Hurndig in Hydra since forever. He's also a great counter to lock-out in arena, since he resets his own skill after killing someone with A1
Hurndig was the first leggo I pulled (you always remember your first right?) Such a great champ to pull first. I never really thought about Merciless for him.... will have to try it once I have more Mericless with enough accuracy to pull it off on him.
On the topic of Dwarves, i just pulled Rugnor the other day. Can we get a guide on him? Still patiently waiting for Altan :)

I didn't fuse him because I was burned out after Brogni and he basically made faction wars a breeze so I didn't think I needed just another damage dealer. I didn't even know his kit until one stomped me in arena a couple weeks ago he reset his cooldown by killing my wu kong with an A1.
I have three hurndigs and have been thinking about using him for Hydra, don't have the best champs for supporting him, unfortunately, desperately need an Enda Moonbeam so i can fuse Mikage!

He has been my campaign farmer forever. He solo's nightmare campaign no problem and is great most places but this extra turn mech on a kill on his A1 and reset works very nice for ancient dragon / etc

I guess you're not that keen on Dwarves much as there's another Dwarf you're sleeping on too... Gronjarr lol. Duo with Rathalos and watch the damage output from the infinity hp burn by Rathalos with Grojarr spamming his a1 to increase the burn indefinitely. Just turn off his a2 unless you need to remove block buffs for any reason.
Can’t you just use Artak for that role?
@@leosteckel6039 Artak activates the hp burn too on the a2, and his a1 is 1x 55% chance to extend the burn. Only Gronjarr can infinitely extend them with a 2x 45% chance on each hit to extend the hp burn, which is significantly more reliable. Build fast tanky and with enough acc to land the hp burn, spam the a1 and with Rathalos doing 50% more damage with hp burn up and taking 25% less damage too, you'll want the burn up 100% of the time. Not forgetting his a2 doing even more damage every second use. No more counting and hoping for the hp burn, it's almost guaranteed to be up with Gronjarr (minus any cleansers ofc). So no is the short answer. Artak can't do what Gronjarr does. No one else in fact can.

@@Dharin. There is Supreme Galek with the two-hitter a1 60% to extend hp burn on each hit, plus his kit is more versatile, but he is very squishy so if you don't have any substantial healing on your team gronjarr can still be solid
Dude I hate myself for not going for him back in the day... Havent pulled a nuker even near as good in 2 years (4 years including breaks) of playing in terms of damage, let alone utility and I want him almost as much as trunda, he is also a godlike campaign farmer, another fusion I regret not going for is helicath but I don't regret it that much (altough I still can't 2 key unm). Btw I am still using zavia as a nuker with 6k atk and 276% crit dmg, she can at least block revive, ronda just doesn't hit that hard as well as the other freebies, only dmg dealers would be war mother (got 2 of em) and lix but she doesn't deal any dmg
and the dumbest reason for not going for him back then is that he hits for less than trunda.. if I only knew that I would never ever get a great nuker until this day

Hurndig Smacks he was my first Fusion and has carried me ever since. He can solo nightmare campaign as well.
I swear i have a Hurndig ive forgotten about 😂ill check tomorrow. Been really focused on hydra but dont have the big names . He'd going great on my whisper team

He was my first legendary and I still use him. Hits like a truck.
I use mine to farm 12-3. I get 12-8 seconds each run. I also use him in dark fae as well. So good

Before going to Herndig, I was thinking maybe you could do something with Karilon. He has no AOE decrease DEF, but he does have an AOE hex + weaken for 2 turns on a 3 turn cooldown, but on top of that the A3 does 40% turn meter fill on all allies, since the hydra can't be frozen. His A1 also has a chance of decreasing any enemy buffs, if they happen to get any. You'd just need to find someone else with an AOE decrease DEF though. All that said... your guide channel is lacking a guide on this guy. I think he is another slept on legendary that I don't hear about enough.

last week i pulled suzerian katonn and putted him in the vault and i thouth taht was the time to shine cause the weaken and dec def in the same abilite..poor guy stil standing there and waiting the time to shine,,maybe its a loooong time

I think it's because warmaster pumps out more damage for the hydra..I got helmsmasher on mine also but haven't really tried him in hydra

I’m depressed @ my nightmare and hard teams I’m running double acrizia siphi wukong and archer for nightmare and cupidus venus sulfuryion lady mikage shamael because my trunda team does 30 Billion damage and my other teams are barely cracking 1.5 billion. I guess I’ll just have to build a second and third trunda yumeko gurbtek Lydia team to be able to compete with my own best team. It’s almost criminal for a team to do that more much damage. I’m in oblivion dreadful mobs I’m sure we’ll see you in cvc sometime this year. Some dudes in my clan are doing 250Billion +

It's not the fastest, but Artak can farm it in regen+immortal if you don't have a good farmer.
I don't have an insane build, but it's about 1:30-2 minutes. Not great, but slow enough that I can save multi-battles and keep on top of restarted a battle without idling on the results because it finishes so fast.
Granted you probably have him set up for other stuff assuming you got him via the login chase.

The problem with Hurndig is, he takes too many books to get full potential out of him. Dude needs a library to fully book out.
most champs did back then, the reason plarium didnt reduce it or dont for them when they redo them is because of their saying 'people have spent resources and money on it, it would be rude'. he's worth the 15 books tho imo
@@TwitchConFoamPit I'm not saying he's not good. It's just 15 lego books takes along time to save up, and I usually have higher priority Champs to book when I get them.

What I find really funny is how Ash talks as if everyone has all these players hell I'm a free to play player who has only been playing the game for 7 months and due to not spending money on the game. Especially with the Costs of the packages hell palarium why not put things into context like All players who want to be competitive in this game must spend half of their yearly salary PS enjoy explaining that to your family pps that's the real game 😂😂🎉🎉. Ppps Ash is still by far the best.

Ive tried building him many times, never works anywhere, sorry but you did not convert me, is this what happens when you are dead set on uploading daily you have to throw out trashy content, you did sell me on Temaria, just don't have her, skip a day or 2 Ash one in a while its good for you mind, body and soul and just relax enjoy the day
