This frame is fantastic!!!. It has completely changed the way I do my cross-stitch and embroidery. It's Soo light and portable and yet so workable. I love the way you can change different hoop sizes. I just love it!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

I have had a stroke and only have the use of one hand! I am looking for any aids that might help me to do embroidery and epp. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Helen, you might find a sit on seat frame will help. If you can, get someone to wrap the actual ring frame and see if into position permanently, both parts, in something like plain cotton or bias binding tape. That way you don't have to worry about struggling with cling film, (I'm in the UK), which can be difficult one handed. My husband has also lost the use of his dominant hand due to a stroke and manages most things with his other hand. Cling film however is one thing he just cannot work with.
I do hope this helps and wish you much joy and pleasure with your embroidery. You can also get a wing nut tightener, it's called a twizzler and is available via the Royal School of Needlework. I don't know if Ms Turnbull stocks it in her shop. I have different hand issues, distinct lack of sensation courtesy of neck damage, and always manage the wing nuts using mine.

To ensure complete coverage, it might be best to avoid popping the plastic wrap. :-)

I am sorry but I can think of nothing worse than sweaty cling film around my stitching. There is no cushioning in cling film at all. I bind my hoops with bias binding, it works for me.

Helllo! What is the plastc for? Protect the fabric or other stitches from your skin oils and dirt?
