This song fits pretty well with a scene in the book I'm currently writing. More like this song makes me feel how I want one of my characters to feel in a certain scene. Still is great for letting ideas flow though.

As a fellow person who is writing a book, do you have any suggestions for when you hit writers block on coming with ideas? Currently I'm at a standstill, but I had a breakthrough not long before.
shnickel1 Hey there! Sorry it's been a while! Oooh, that's a good question! I personally find my imagination run berserk and wild by hopping onto deviantart and looking at intense, epic art. That and playing a good, rich, game that fits your style. I find Guild Wars 2 is a good game that perks up my imagination to write fantasy while the Mass Effect series perks me up for sci-fi. Best of luck! Let me know if you've found a way to overcome writers block! I'd love to hear it! :)
mrArchduke Thank you, it's always great to hear the insight of someone who is also going through the same scenario. This is interesting, I find the exact same things motivate me. Generally music, or pictures, or a game can spark some form of imagination. My best ideas are spawned off of music to be exact. I don't have a way to overcome writers block really, generally I'll go some time without any new grand ideas popping into my head but then one great idea shows up which completely propels my creativity. From what I've found, I try to think of "why" and "how" and what events happen in order to get from point A to point B. I also think of how particular characters would react to scenarios, which is how I spawned my latest idea. My book idea is definitely not an easy one to go about, but I feel encouraged as there's, what I feel, a lot of potential behind it and I always feel like I can improve it, which is one of my current blocks because I have so many ideas that I feel would be great to include, but I don't know how to fit them together. Perhaps this is why I have writers block so much, because it's not just a straight linear line for me. How is yours coming along?
