i literally made real life friends in this game, having fun in pvp on low levels... in my opinion level 40/45 was peak time in the game, everything was so balanced, so sad nowdays

That was the game i played in my childhood/youth. Had so much fun playing it. Sad to see it go like this, surely lost many players, but luckily we captured videos so we can see back in time and enjoy them good old memories
Yeah, my only regret for this game is that I have very few recordings from level 40 because I had a very old pc back then
40-45 lvl max was the peak of dso. Grind was hard but it was worth it. Gems were a massive grind and the only pay to progress thing but even without them you could be decent. Every city was full of people. Events were kinda rare and rewards were actually worth it. Drakens were hard to collect and were worth spending them. Pvp was fun when 1kdmg was OP and barely 1,5 attack speed was monster. Now everyone has hundreds of dmg, millions of hp, 4 attack speed , no cool downs on spells when back then you had to save some spells for an occasion. I know the game devs had to put new things for end game players to not get bored but they fked it up real bad
Edit: The jewel is working a little differently than I explained in the video but, you get the idea. The first thing the DSO Management acknowledges is that slow map changes are UNACCEPTABLE on the current MMO-RPG market, it is not surprising that fewer and fewer people are interested in DSO currently, because people don't see any improvements throughout the years, only getting worse...

DSO yönetiminin kabul etmesi gereken ilk şey bence bu aşırı yavaş harita geçişlerinin, MMO-RPG oyun sektöründe KABUL EDİLEMEZ oluşu. Aylar geçtikçe yavaş yavaş kullanıcı sayısı azalması bir sürpriz değil, çünkü kullanıcılar herhangi bir gelişim ve iyileştirme bekliyor, saçma sapan kumar sandıkları değil...

I used to bloq xp in lvl 30 and Focus on pvp and events i find the fact that You can choose to not le el up and improve soooo fun but they decide yo remove it and them i quit the Game but to This day is My fav Game of all time i feel sad to not be able to play the way i wanted to
I still remember the times when we grinded every day for hours to keep our rank in the leaderboards to get the gold rewards. Once the season ended we spended 99% of it on clowns.. Idk why but back then it just felt really rewarding. Now I haven't played actively since the release of level 100 (played it like week or two). And the sad thing is that the game still has potential to be one of the best just needs creativity for events,story,pvp and maybe even more levels. The game already has great gameplay and graphics but sadly as Lost Ark proved that's not enough...
So true they can bring them back now we have the gamble chests now is the same ...

I am so sad about it too, I had so much fun back in the day playing rangers with herald set, spaming explosive arrows after the net. It was just so satisfying, the playstyle suited me so well. I was so sad after they removed it, but I tried to play even after the Dark something expansion but It wasn't good. Very sad to see this.
You'd wish the legendary pay 2 win jewel they added (by again copy pasting an already existing item texture that used to be the moonstone) only gave +5 Infernal passage per run ... They made it +200%, free PW blood runs, infinite IPS
Honestly the way this game is dying is sickening, the team is trying to rob the fleeting playerbase out of the last cent they can gather ... unacceptable on top of breaking multiple online gambling laws.
I'm considering quitting the game now, it's been a wild ride for 9+ years. Good vid btw, thanks for being one of the only experienced player with some brain juice left to point out the flaws in the game :)
It was the game where I was grinding several hours daily just to get slightly better gear, new equip or just get a little bit closer to getting any PvP mount... And now? I didn't played the game for two years now I think. Somewhen about tanks became useless to have them in a group. And the fact I'm writing this is just a proof of how much I miss the old times (40-45 lvl) when events and PvP were good. I'm still curious how the game is evolving, but everytime I take a look it makes me sad. I miss the old Dragan, I miss Helion games, I miss old PWs, I miss my bears. But sadly not enough to play it anymore.

I used to play this game almost everday for far too many hours haha. I'm glad I stopped at the level 100 expansion so I dont have to go through this sad ending of a once great game.

The very first MMORPG game that I've played around 10 years ago lol, back to when I was a young student, Khmerwarrior - Tegan.
Today I download it again just to check, so many thing has changed, I visited some urban area just to listen again those background music and sightseeing, sadly so many changed and yes no many player on the town, they even lock people from entering new urban area if you don't have the key...
So just keep the good memory with it. Farewell.

As I said before… the game is dead since 2015 with LorTac expansion…. So good memories level 40/45 and that’s the only reason I come back to the game once in a while !! Good video btw !
Level 50 was actually really good , it made many different builds open up and be viable - in my opinion level 55 and it’s 400 difficulties started the downhill destruction (even though R132 was actually my most hated release because they removed darbmoor and Grimmag stone)
@@KelluehazeDSOO yeah I can see what you are saying but still at level 40/45 was much more balanced with 1h builds etc… they could just add new sets new maps new events etc and don’t spike up the stats that much … whatever it’s dead now 😅

Reduce the level cap to 60, recreate the skill tree and talents , make damage/hp/armor numbers BALANCED so pvp is fair and strategic rather than glass cannon festival, events should be thoughtful and rewarding for the time, pve leaderboards should be more rewarding + PW should be more rewarding and fun to compensate this e.g reworking the pew sets in order to make them fun and useful to grind , PW rings could be given some use.
They could also make the levelling process fun for new players, the progression for gear and gems needs to be changed… too many gem tiers and items don’t really mean much… it kinda messes with new max level progression, items should always be more stat rewarding than gems , gems are always a BONUS not your whole stat sheet.
Wisdom tree needs a rework , new fun abilities should be added from wisdom, maybe even a wisdom shop? To spend excess wisdom after level 300.
World uniques need a rework for sure, 4% increased damage on a skill is so useless…
Gnob needs to sell max level/max difficulty level item parts, who needs a base level 100 darkness set ?
New mounts, not reskins.
And most importantly we need fun gameplay, I stopped playing dso because they are like mindless ghouls doing q5 and bloodchests all day long , Q worlds needs some fun , open world content needs to be more fun, a really hard difficulty should open , like a difficulty with 0 armor break, base movement speed etc but the rewards are super good and there is a monthly leaderboard for it too. Just anything to make the content fun , I miss level 45 so much because it gave so much freedom no matter what level you were , I was always a low level twink because I loved the idea of killing higher ranked/level players because I had spent the time farming to be strong
The funniest part is people trying to get rank 1 even after getting jewel from attire. It's impossible to compete without it and if you have the jewel already it's pointless
From level 100 the game went down, I also keep very good memories and friends of DSO :)
I am just heartbroken because I have a lot of good and fun memories in this game but I stopped playing too because everything felt just so unrewarding and repetitive all of the time :/

My personal number 1 problem with this game is that at EVERY single time i enter a map i have to wait about 2 minutes and when i am with team they clear all the map cause im spawed in the map but i see a brown screen for 2 minutes so technically i cant play the game to get better :(

I'm kinda sad Bugpoint killed this game. I really enjoyed even with warrior on lvl 55. Now its just a trash and nobody playing it.

Tested with my friends a week ago. On the very first map, there were many chest that we couldnt open unless we put money on game. Then we checked VIP benefits, and the bonuses are massive... this looks like a phone game, greedy and hungry for money. Then we uninstalled.
Yeah sadly thay have kinda aggressive money making policy now, since just can't get any more player base so they focus on getting more money by implementing too many pay2win & pay2skip things

The very best thing they could do is to re-upload an old version. Even if all accounts would be deleted, players would come back and the game would be profitable for them again.
I cannot imagine that they will keep the servers running for long with this little playerbase. So Sad

The only good thing is, they don't have money from this game. So, there are only 2 options in the future:
The game will die and never live again, the servers will be shut down.
The game will be good again.
And I think both of these options are better than the game now.
I think it's too late for the second option.

I really don't understand why many players complain because the game wants to generate revenue in some way, before a video game it is a business and every video game company generates revenue in some way and this is the way Drakensang online generates revenue.
Then let upload back lvl 45, when this game was great and also pay to win
Generating revenue is of course acceptable and inevitable for a free to play game. However, they should focus on fixing the game's really old problems first (which it'd make more money in the long run)

Oh, I just just started a new character but seems like not gonna be a long round, game is dying, nothing new, they don't add things to the game no more, they still trying to get those money out from the low player base with these p2w purchase able items and that's all, wouldn't be surprised if dso get closed. Dso was on the top when level 50 was released what gone wrong?
Lots of mistakes and bad decisions, not enough bug fixes and improvements. Not much update to keep the players in game (most old players are maxed and have nothing to do), dead pvp, and bunch of other reasons...

Bu oyuna harcanan zamana yazık.Ben de artık oynamıyorum dragan setinden sonra bırakma kararı aldım işin kötü yanı da takıma yeni katılan yazılmcı Feni adlı şahısın okçuların dragan setinin çok iyi olduğunu savunuyor sanırsam farklı oyun oynuyoruz sete iyi demek için aptal olmak gerek sanırsam. he has 5 jewels of focus with dragan set ( dragan set gives 25% cd reduction on Frozen sphere and also doubles the spheres)
The game use to be so good from level 40 to 50 then it become just a pile of shit just to make money :/
The game was also pay2win back then but much more fun & competitive, and not much repetitive...
They are focusing on the weak/new players/chracters stop crying.
For me, those loading screens are 5 times lower on duration than for example in lost ark but I do have fiber witch affects a lot(compared to for ex. mobile net that I use sometimes when travelling)
btw: You should chceck how many players play PVP on a day :D. Shame since I loved the PVP on this game and on its best times it was better than in lost ark on comparison(on movement , dynamics)
But yes, not gonna bother with LB's and espceially not gonna bother with those attires
Ironically I have no loading screen issues at all in lost ark even though it requires a better pc than playing Dso :D

I quit playing this game cuz what's the point? In and out in and out q5 everyday all day? Thats a dead game not to mention support don't give a fck about 20secs extra on loading screen(barely do 3bloodchest solo even if i one shot sludges). I could easily get this leaderboard +2 with my maxed accs but hell no not gonna bother do the same shit playstyle on this dead game
Sadly this game has huge problems like very repetitive, nothing new & too slow map loadings. Support can't do anything about it because it is about dso's old-ass servers, they just don't wanna invest...
i quit this game, since Lost Ark is relased.. I fcking loved DSO.. but, they destroyed it with theyr updateds..
