I think a lot of people are missing the point of this car. It’s not supposed to be fast. It’s quick but far from fast. This car is supposed to be a fun and engaging car to drive on good roads and at an affordable price for the average person. I just turned 20 and bought myself one of these. There isn’t a lot out there that’s new, this reliable, and this engaging that someone my age with my financial status can realistically afford. I love this car with all my heart.
They're not reliable. Honda reliability doesn't exist on their turbo cars. Very few turbo cars are actually reliable. You're confusing old Honda reliability with the new stuff. I've been a Honda guys since the mid nineties and I still have 3 Hondas RN ,but these new turbo cars aren't reliable. My 22 Si blew its motor at 10k miles bone stock just driving on the freeway for no reason. Honda couldn't figure it out. The valve covers leak,the power steering is having issues,the turbos are blowing seals,the AC lines are leaking......just to name a few things. Fun,yeah maybe while under warranty but so is any BMW 💀

Fr i think people forget theres people racing stock miatas out there and they are going around the track faster than people in high HP cars. These cars are not meant for straight line speed but are meant for spirited driving and good around corners.
They used an off the shelf tune which doesn’t do much. But if they do a pherable tune or tsp stage 2 tune it will be more like 255-300 hp and over 300 tq. Im guessing crank not whp and wtq
If any modern 2 wheel drive car is more than 15% loss something is very wrong. 20% maximum for awd maybe up to 25% but that’s it. 45% is fucking insane there is no way

These cars make arpund 185whp stock. Ktuner made 195 with just a tune. And 216whp upping the boost. They made 234whp with E30 using their flex fuel setup. This car most likely is pump gas and no boost increase, so 224whp isn't bad coming from 185ish.
I'm torn up between getting a 2018-19 accord sport 6mt or a 24 Si... The accord will def be faster with boltons but I think the Si looks so much better

I’d rather get a 2020 or 2021 Honda Accord 2.0 for about the same price and have over 250 at the wheels, get the similar parts from PRL also, but I have a KTuner Volume 2, and would put a flex fuel kit, and also have an RV7 down pipe. With other supporting mods you’re looking to get about 500+ hp with proper tuning. And that’s very impressive imo. Even PRL made a vid on how to make 500hp for the 10th Gen Accords that I mentioned on thei IG and TT
My 2008 Civic Si made 220whp, How does this 2022 Civic Si turbo only make 224whp, I know the turbo on these 11th gens are tiny but I thought the torque would be higher then that lol My focus ST has tiny stock turbo k03 & it still made really good torque on the dyno 352ftlb of torque.

I just traded my 2012 last year for a 2022. The 2012 was an absolute NIGHTMARE to own. It's so cheaply made, hard plastics everywhere, uncomfortable seats and poor suspension and mechanical components. I spent thousands keeping it running at 130k even though I babied it. I was told that those cars were designed during the recession, so they cut costs a lot for that generation.
The civic type r 2023 comes with 320 hp stock if you make upgrades can make de 450hp o more i think you spend a lot of money on this i mean sound good but 30k on upgrades
He would have been way better off getting a 2015 si with a 2.4 L in it and then giving it to the shop. That thing could make 300 Horse easy then. Honestly buying the new 1.5 si and then blowing money at the shop is such a terrible idea. Just finance a Type R, it already has everything the shop put on the 1.5 and more and wont blow parts at its peak lol.

They needed to flash it with a Phearable tune. With just the 1.5R tune it’s supposed to get around 250 whp with 93 pump gas lol

Drive shaft shop sells upgraded cv axles but honesty if you’re not putting down like double the original hp you’ll be fine.
