I find Google really need to look into device managing system they currently have, I mean why can't Google simply allow remove devices that we no longer use/own/lost listed under our Google account, why can't Google just simply add an option to select and remove device you no longer want to associate with your Google account? For a person who like purchase new phones for experience and sell it out after awhile, it's so difficult to manage device lists that is growing but unable to remove devices from device list that I no longer own.
The title of your video is how to REMOVE a device - you did no show how to remove it, but how to log it out of the account. I want to remove it. You wasted my time - not appreciated.
After I do this, the device I want to remove is moved to "Where you’ve signed out" category. How do I remove it for good? I don't see any option.

Why the G***D***F**** does google make this so difficult? They can't just add a delete button? Oh no that would be to simple! I have signed out of 2 devices I haven't owned in years and yet they still show.
@Five Star Media 100% agree! There must be some hidden reason for this that these companies don't want us to know. It can't be that difficult for them to just add a real remove option. It's not only Google though as Apple does the same thing across the board. Can't delete old unused apps. Just hide them?? WHY? Even Apples care+ and other subscriptions from very old devices continue to show on my new device. Bought an new iPad pro and I still show my old iPad pro from years ago, although it does show "inactive" but I want it not clogging up my list with old and new. I also found Gmail doesn't have a delete button handy as one of the main icons av. You actually have to do 2 clicks just to delete an email (when reading the email). My App lists of both Google and Apple is a mess. It's very frustrating mostly because there is no sane reason for this.
because it shows location on the device when it was last used and google likes to track data they are actually spying on everything you do thats why they give no option and all these videos are misleading with their titles its actually a piss off
This is how to sign out of a device on your Google account, not "remove" from account. When I ask Google assistant to find my (new) phone, she names my old phone evidently because it's still there.
yea if you remove your phone device google will not ask for it anymore

@@ethanfultz6279 no. It showed as signed out, so I left it, but I no longer own the device. That can happen more & more, I imagine, tho I tend to hang onto phones longer than some. It's such a hassle to set things up again.
Thank you for the instructions on how to remove a device from my Google account. Unfortunately, I followed the instructions and the device was not removed. I need to remove the device because I want the two-step verification code to be sent to my cell phone by text message, and that option was disabled when I assigned my account to my Google account tablet. This signout only from Goggle account in the selected device, but how remove another device from my account, if I make login to virtual device in bluestacks and I want fully remove the device from the playstore and from my account. Actully can only be deselected in devices from Google Play collection and devices

I went around and around today trying to delete old devices, and there is NO way. Every time I saw a video, it told me to do something that was impossible on my phone. I no longer own some of these phones, but Google won't give me the option to delete them.
Google constantly keeps changes how their products work. By the time I shot the video, it was working as expected, but Google has since changed the process. That's why lots of people are having issues.

this si not helping, I have two devices showing on the drop-down menu on gogle play which do not show here on the ecurity section you showed in my account, and they're not mine, I did not lend the laptop nor did anyone douch it as I live alone and they do not show up here, I tried to send feedback on here n settings yet it cuts me everytime at every single key I press it's annoying..

It may be somehow I don't know why, unauthorized linked or connected devices over the web so which is why I need to remove them, I know theyre not mine because I aways rename them to the same username and I tried pressing install on this device and none of them installs it and they are usernames/ device names I'd never thik of using, so... need help please. The only help google gives is by unlinking devices on our own account but if the devices are not ours how the hell should we be abel to do that,, so it's logical to unlink them as unrecognized devices as if third party...why do they show on google play but not on manage account/security?
