I've always found it so fascinating how different breakfast is around the world. In America breakfasts often incorporate (or are entirely) sweet foods like pancakes, french toast, cereal, or muffins. Sometimes a breakfast will be all savory, but that's usually just bacon and eggs and toast. So cool how elaborate and savory Japanese breakfasts are. Seems nice for a change, less sugar, more protein, more energy for the day!

@@carouselqueer It's delicious that's how!!! I can even eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon on occasion :D
Helen Lecornu But...it’s Vegemite, probably the grossest food here, unless you just like the taste, I can’t imagine how you could eat that
I will definitely be using this channel to learn simple Japanese cooking. Easy to follow. Thank you!
Wish to eat breakfast like this.so healthy and wholesome meal.love it.
I recently discovered your videos and LOVE them! You make Japanese cuisine so approachable, especially since I usually see it as ~elevated~ rather than the food normal people eat everyday!
Love watching you cook! So relaxing, I never feel so relaxed when I cook.
thank you so much :) !!
I loved how each and every video is so heartwarming and you can see imamus improvement in her english which i would say is amazing .
"She likes me eating " - what a wonderful daughter you have.
This is so lovely to watch, thank you for sharing!
Learning so much from my, we probably eat more rice than most English household, but to learn how to do the egg n pickeling veg is lovely
I agree.
Looks delicious! It was nice hearing your voice! You sound so kind and nurturing 🥰
Man imagine waking up hungry and having the patience to make all that ! Thank god for the Toast and cheese lol I will have it with a cup of organic orange juice and call it a day 🏃🏻♀️
Your channel is amazing and your English is great! I love watching these videos
I wish my parents had a relationship as sweet as this 🥺
Your videos are very relaxing. Your cooking makes the cooking itself like a very simple thing to do. Happy videos, always! 💕👌🏼
Me: reading all the comments comparing their breakfast to hers and each other
Me:
Me: You guys have breakfast?
Love the mood of your videos and the way you cook🙏
Wow where I live I would never have salmon for breakfast I really want to go to Japan one day 😣
I am a cook who lives in Korea and I want to go to Japan.
This is a new dose of serotonin i never knew i needed.
Nothing can beats homemade whole meals made by mom
This is one of my favorite meals to make for breakfast on the weekends! Reminds me of my Grandma Eiko💖 Thank you for sharing!🥰
I find with Japanese breakfasts, the meals are so big. Alot of lovely food.
And then their lunches tend to be smaller.
I so want this now... even willing to give nato a go LOL
I absolutely love natto. After watching this i went and got me some for my breakfast tomorrow
@@ima7333 what does it taste like to you? Stinky socks or something dead. I have only heard it described those two ways 😆
@@kimithy well i’m indonesian & am accustomed to eating stinky stuff but natto is not that stinky. It is super slimy tho so it’s more like eating slime. But then again i also eat raw nagaimo aka chinese yam that’s also slimy but tasty.
It's an acquired taste. I'm Japanese so I was eating natto as a child. My 5 year old kid has been eating natto like champ. My husband is Korean and he can't eat it. 😂 People who didn't grow up eating it rarely like it understandably. He says he can't stand the smell and slimy texture. Japanese dishes have a considerable amount of slimy and gooey textured foods so I guess that's our thing.
@@liliumjade i’m not japanese yet i enjoy natto very much though maybe not for everyday.
Very nice to start off the day with a healthy breakfast! Thanks for sharing!
Breakfast is my favorite meal here in America. I've always been a morning person. With our breakfast being a mix of savory foods, starchy foods and sweet foods that give you high energy to start the day, it's the perfect way to get everything going. 🙌👌👍
These videos are so good ... I can’t stop watching they are like hypnotic ... so calm and peaceful.... it’s like cooking bliss 👏🏻
I want to live peacefully like this in the future
It's been a while since I last had a breakfast in Wakayama Japan... one of the memories I cherish the most, was being served on a rainy morning, while watching the fishing boats sailing away. The hotel was open only for me, so it was all the quiet it could be... and the smells slowly coming out from the kitchen where wonderful..
Is somebody playing piano song : "arabesque" in the background haha
I loved all of this. I also loved how you shared the clip of you and your family eating together at the end. I watched it all and smiled when I heard your baby talking :) thank you for sharing your process and meal ❤️
"nori" in my language means "want". (Want - noreti). but then it would be used in asking someone "do you want it" then "ar tu nori" grammer.
ne noriu

Breakfast together with family is magic!
How early do you wake up? I would just make rice the night before.
Rice is easy. Except the rice, there are so much work and time to prepare a breakfast like this. I think it is a breakfast for a stay home mom only.
@@HS-ru9ee who says stay at home moms have the time? 😂
9:49- ‘oishi oishi’ (with clapping). So cute!!!!!!! Hehe. Love watching Japanese made mukbang. So calm and neat, typical japanese style.
This isnt mukbang lmao mukbang is stuffing your face and making yourself look ugly
I really dislike sweet foods, sweetness belongs in desserts, not breakfast, and this seems right up my alley.
Exactly
How fascinating watching you make this...could watch all day!
This was so interesting and comforting to watch 😌
This is fun.
My first time seeing a meal prepared on RUclips and eaten. I love it! Usually other people end their videos with a picture of the fully prepared dish. A wonderful touch to delicious looking breakfast 😁
That's a feast of a breakfeast, if I don't throw up one day then I've gin crazy alright because I'm gunna try to stuff my face eating that
It’s always nice watching your cooking. Very aesthetic
I just want a breakfast like this once in my entire life time i feel like i can die happy then because it just looks all lovely and delicious im really jealous😖
This is so peaceful to watch while I eat ❤️ thanks for sharing your breakfast!
I make ramen or eat cereal and then lemonade, still grateful i have food to eat.
🙏❤️
OMG! This is the greatest video! Thank you! Thank you so much for explaining all this! I learned so much I needed to know!
This is soo healthy im jealous :’)
Aw your daughter is so cute! She loves watching you eat
In Malaysia, our most popular food for breakfast includes Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai. Nasi Lemak is rice cooked with coconut milk and eaten with boiled egg, fried anchovies, fried groundnut, cucumber and of course sambal. Have you heard about Nasi Lemak before? You should try it. It's delicious!😋😃
I recognize the piano music in the background from when I was taking lessons. Lovely video - thank you for taking the time to teach us how to make breakfast properly!
Thank you for sharing you culture with us 💫 I am sure your husband was very happy with the meal. Look forward to another video. PS. Your English is prefect 💕
Wonderfully made, simple and easy to follow!
I’ve tried natto five times now, still feels like I’m eating a raw snail. Sorry can’t do it.
How do you know what a raw snail tastes like 🤑🤑
I grew up with natto and love it, but totally understand how some may find it gross! Not all Japanese ppl love it either. Good for u for attempting it that many times though!! I’m way less patient with food I don’t like 😅
I love your videos! Your daughter is so precious! I just love her! And I am determined to make a husband bento tonight... kushi katsu style. Pork and onion. Your renkon sandwich looks amazing! I love your breakfast too.
