I had one for 6.5 years. I loved him dearly. He died from breathing difficulties that surgery could not fix 😞. They are wonderful dogs but they can’t breathe. I now have a beagle. I wanted to get another bulldog but I don’t want to watch another animal slowly suffocate ever again. They really need to introduce so new genes into this breed to bring that face out a bit so they can breathe. It’s cruel to breed animals that can’t breathe normally.
Noisy breathing at 0:44 this is among the best examples of the breed and yet physically he is still a disaster on so many levels. This is a deformed animal. People who breed or support the breeding of bulldogs are being unethical and selfish.
We have had nothing but bulldogs...ALL of them have lived over 12 years. They need to be bred correctly, fed correctly and exercised correctly. THEY ARE THE BEST.
