As a recently retired racer (16 years in the car and 20+ years at the track), I need this sort of video to get through my days. I miss it every minute of every day.
I watch this video everyday there's not a day goes by that I don't learn something new from this video there is nobody out there I think and say it any better than the way this video was put
As a future driver and someone who was born in to it this touches my heart. My parents quit racing a few mounts after I was born ,and we would go once a year. Till one year i fell in love with it it always was in me I just didn’t know. After that one race we went to . my dad got back in the race car . Now he is still driving and his race car is going to be mine. I find every single word he says is true . There is no getting away from racing. This is my favorite video I watch it all the time.
As someone who races to keep my family tradition alive and well! Alex is spot on! I've now lost count on how many times I watch this video bc it's that good!🏁🇺🇸😎
Absolutely love this. I listen to it nearly every morning as my motivation for the day. My oldest brother raced dirt track for many years while I was growing up. Racing has always been in me. Thank you.
I. I am one of those people born into racing. Dads been racing Dirt since '99 in the Wissota series. Love my dad with all my heart I'm not just there for the fun but for the fact that right now I'm the only one that's seen his pain and suffering through this besides my mom, Stepmother, my dad's parents, my aunt, and his long time friends he's made along the way from highschool to now. I I'm a Farmers/Racers true son not just there to have fun but to help him when it's needed.
As a dirt racer my self, 4th generation, family started racing in 1936.. This video is PERFECTLY said.. WOW... Best description of what it feels like and is like to be a race driver. The passion, desire, up and downs. Great vid!!!!!!!
Translates to real life…. If you’ve ever been a single parent, this is my “job”everyday…. Life, living and success can all be the same analogy in your career.as it relates to your life. Like the Lion and Gazelle, no matter which you are you better get up running to succeed! And I do LOVE to drive fast on an open road!❤️🇺🇸
I live ½ mile from a 3/8 mi dirt track, the house I grew up in. I was on pit crews, I was on the vol FD and used to chase down Late Models. I met my wife of 40 years years there and this spring I am racing an Mini-stock @ 64). YES it IS in my blood. Great thoughts! I had to edit to add; when the cam is behind you that is my wheel and I cam drive it. I love Sprints. 2 tracks close to home (Dave is part owner) I knew his Dad. Bless you for this video!
I don't know why I even watched this but it's cool I've been driving for 11 years at 22 years old and I'm getting better every race and to think just 2 years ago I almost quit is kinda scary I grew up In the pits of my local track and hopefully I keep my career going and I'm hoping I can give kids the will to get into this amazing sport
Goodness, Alex you sound like you're describing my brother to a T. The drive and passion. I Love it. I tell my brother and now nephew racing to. Drive it like you stole it. Thank you! They both drive a Texas Winged Modifieds and my nephew 1st year in the Bandit Sprint Car series in Texas. My brother had around 15+ yrs racing.
I needed this. I want to race. I currently race go karts, and I want to race micros. My dad raced legends, microsprints, slingshots, 360s, and more. My family split when I was young, and unfortunately no one supports me in racing except for my dad. This video really boosts my confidence that someday, I will roll out onto that track.
Hi, Alex. great video!! I'm also a race driver and 2020 was meant to be my first complete season of racing, with a new car and an amazing team, but here in Europe almost all races have been suspended due to the quarantine. So, thanks for the motivation, and for remembering us that passion is still there, It's really helpfull these days...
Thank you for the comments. Unfortunately we are all in the same boat as far as racing being suspended. I hope your first full season is a successful one, when we all get to race. Best of luck to you, be safe!
Haven’t meet your personally but was watching you on Saturday 4/14/18. Man that yellow robbed you. Was thinking about this video the whole time. Great job. You are who I cheer for when CLS come to Ventura. This video is motivation. Keep it up.
Wow Alex, this is deep! This is my ADV motorcycling mentality. Taking BIG bikes places they "should not be" according to most. Sometimes I don't make it but it becomes an experience to learn from. Great video. Subbed... Thanks for the feedback on my POF Video. Strange it lost all audio and imagery for that duration. Fixing and the correct edit will be up shortly. Thanks!
@@alexgrigoreas4825 which “you” ??? Chap, Mountain, MotoCity, or my Amazon links? J/K but not really! Hey, I’ll be back in CA here in Feb. Lets go RIDE!!!
I have been working my butt off the last 2 years to make the money to buy a race car, I race on iRacing a lot and I always watch this video before a big league race or just before a long race. This video is awesome! Thumbs up for you man!
Colton , thank you. That really means a lot to me. Keep digging, set your goal to it and it will happen. Just get out there and race. Doesn't matter if it's Iracing, a go kart, or whatever , just do it. I wish you the best of luck. Keep in touch and let me know how it's going. I should try that Iracing thing some day.
