lukumades sounded so weird to me because it is "lokma" in Turkish which is originally donut with sherbet (and cinnamon). my favorite lokma is with the chocolate filling one and i like fresh strawberry as a topping. it goes so good with Turkish tea! you should try it❤

Greek doughnuts are really delicious, my mom usually makes them with a homemade syrup and it’s so good. Also, my moms recipe is vegan too which is so amazing

As a native greek I suggest you try loukoumades with honey instead of different kinds of chocolate syrups and sauces. Imo honey enhances the flavour of the loukouma ( singular for loukoumades ) a lot more and it doesn't completely mask its flavour like chocolate tends to do
