- The 284km Kano-Maradi Rail Line will cross three states in Nigeria and terminate in Niger Republic. This rail line is part of the western rail line that starts from Lagos to Ibadan and all the way to Kano, Dambatta, Daura, Katsina, Jibia, Angoal Mata & Maradi. Thanks for the video. This is the best project in Nigeria right now that will benefit the masses as a whole. As a Nigerian, the first place I tried train rides was in China in 2008. From the airport to my final destination it cost me 100 yuan that is 15$ for a trip of 10 hours. We need more train routes in Nigeria it will have a big impact on the economy and the masses. The economic potential of this rail line is very high. Nigeria need more of this. Developing d transportation sector is key to economic growth and development. Nigeria must expand its social capital if she must grow and this is part of d demonstration
