Wow this is extremely relatable especially the kitchen floor story. I feel like having a toddler for me personally is so much harder than having a newborn. Maybe it is because I am back at work too or because toddlers can be so challenging and overstimulating. I am also curious, in which episode does Layne tell the "bad guy" story? I am super interested in overcoming PTSD

I finally asked for help when my daughter was 2.5, she’s now 3, but for the entire year leading up to that, I struggled. I had the kitchen floor moment so many times. Having a toddler has been far more challenging for me than a newborn or infant. When I went to see my provider, she informed me that ppd can crop up in the toddler stages, even if someone didn’t experience it in the newborn stage… I had no idea. And that made me wonder why no one gave me a heads up that that could happen. Had I been educated on that, I would have reached out sooner. I was so confident and happy the first year and a half of my daughter’s life, but when 18 months hit, it hit me like a load of bricks. I just had no idea that I could go from loving life to feeling like that so far into my post partum period.

Thank you for this video, it's great to hear that the feeling that a mother has is OK, and that everything you do to feel better is a great way to be a mom for your child
