idk what FSU is doing but to say other schools aren't getting commits is false. Uga has gotten several commitments in the month of June. they actually have 4 commits this month. I do think FSU needs to pick it up but more importantly hold then until signing day
Georgia just began to roll. Saw that today. It's still been slower for UGA to gain commits but the Dawgs have a great shot at an elite class. My original point stands: prospects are going around to collect bags before committing.

I think recruits are reluctant to commit to a team full of mercenaries that won’t even play in a major bowl game, throwing their team and teammates under the bus. 63-3 is not a good look on a national stage, and recruits are smart enough these days to read into the reasons why it happened to the 2023 Seminoles.

Hey Locked On. Good episode. Curious what your take is...Do you think FSU being in the ACC and their future up in the air in regards to what conference they may land in influence recruits' decision?
Yes I do. At least a little bit. Some players just want to stay closer to home or route for FSU. Fair enough. Most recruits make more complex decisions though. The ACC does not help when competing against UF and other SEC schools. That logo is huge in recruiting. Same with the Big 10.
When will that money translate to the field that player could be a bust, wasted money based on high school stats

Problem is recruits and coaches are negative recruiting Norvell due to his portal plays.
Coaches are hitting on Norvell for getting great classes and then getting 3 portal guys to play in front of freshmen
With teams like UF and Miami playing true freshmen that is why a lot of them are flipping

There has to be a balance between portal and recruiting HS kids
Not to mention the current sanctions and the orange bowl. It's easy to negative recruit FSU right now. Especially if an opposing coach explains to the parents the likelihood that their kid will have transfers brought in ahead of them.
