Thank you so much for this amazing recipe!! I took a baking class about a year ago on French Macarons but that recipe always seemed to come out too thin, resulting in cracked or wrinkly macarons. I thought it might've just been my technique but I knew I was doing it correctly. So I decided to try this recipe and they came out absolutely PERFECT!!!
I've been making so many batches of macarons the last two months, trying to learn how to do it correctly but also learning from my mistakes. This is the most straight-forward video on RUclips, especially the part about the folding and what the batter should look like. The recipe is really easy to follow and I've had really great success making macarons. Even when I mess up, I can easily figure out what part of the recipe I went wrong because your instructions are very clear in terms of what to do and what to expect. I've tried following other RUclips recipes and either they are too vague or there's too much "talking" and not enough instruction. Just want to say thank you for posting these videos, they are extremely helpful!!

Does your oven have a fan? Was it really well preheated? There are a few reasons it may have happened. One could be that the meringue was too soft, or maybe they have't been rested enough and allowed to fully dry on top or the oven temperature may have been too low or the batter could have been over mixed and was too thin. I hope this helps :-) The most important parts of the video are the points that explain when to stop mixing the meringue and when to stop mixing the batter...maybe watch it again a couple of times. I suspect your oven may have not been heated to the right temperature. I hope this help :-)
