1-99 Woodcutting Guide: www.osrsguide.com/osrs-woodcutting-guide/ I've been wanting to upload a Forestry guide for months now, but never got around to it because I knew it would be nerfed at some point making any guide obsolete... Now that the nerf is here (event hopping removed) and Forestry has been simplified (items removed) I was out of excuses to release a quick guide on Forestry. As always this video is kept short (under 4 minutes) so I hope you give it a like/sub for the effort :D Cheers, and see you in World 444! - Dean p.s. for social chopping, join: 'Forestry CC' friend chat
Thanks to your original forestry video I was able to green log and get some evil chicken pieces too before the nerf. Not a fan of the post nerf state as I feel it made the events less social now. Did want to add that they changed the Twitcher's gloves so the effect is permanent now so worth adding to the rewards.
I'm glad it helped you green log before the nerf! I believe the folks in the Forestry CC are still trying to game the events even post nerf. And yeah the Twitchers' Gloves were a bit of an oversight on my part. Thanks for your comment!
Ik it’s kinda late but, do I have to do all events to get the pheasant egg and fox whistle? Or can I just do those 2 events everytime and still have a chance to receive them?
Other than collection log, not really. Forestry enhances the woodcutting skill (more exp/social/fun/money) but that doesn't change much for you if you're already 99. (unless you really enjoy chopping).
If you have the beaver pet and want to turn it into a fox, can do some forestry and pray to get fox whistle drop. Only reason im doing it, alread 99 wc and got pet but with this update im now forced to chop trees to get my transmog 😭
@@Existss It's +10%exp on all tree types, including redwoods. Make sure you have Foresters Rations in your forestry kit! They fuel the axe effect, otherwise its just a fancy looking regular axe.
For popular spots and/or social chopping, I recommend you join the Forestry CC discord (link in description) or Forestry CC friend chat. Hope that helps!
The felling axe looks cooler than the axe but it is noticeably slower and it doesn’t get logs at the same speed as a regular axe. It upsets me that nobody is talking about this. The felling axe is worse then a regular axe and you get less logs. Who ever thought that less logs was a great idea is a fuggin idiot give us more logs or make it so every hit with the felling axe gives a log guaranteed. Instead of chopping a tree 13 times to get 1 log. Geez jagex come on
You can also sell the sturdy beehive parts to the forester for 25 anima each. The pheasant feathers for 5 each. I highly recommend not getting the log brace as it makes emptying the logs into the bank more annoying, for an additional of only 1 extra inventory space.
I literally can't find answers anywhere, should i get the dragon or the crystal felling axe, and should i buy the felling handle from the GE or use the anima bark to get it?
bro. do you deadass need this spoon fed to ya 1. if you want more xp/hr go crystal obviously. it gives a chance to chop a tick faster. I would personally just go with infernal axe for more afk, its a 33% chance to consume a log for firemaking + woodcutting exp as opposed to felling axes 20% chance to not obtain a log. felling does give 10% bonus exp but if you want the most woodcutting xp anyways you'd drop forestry and go blisterwood/sulliusceps/redwoods unless you're a teak freak, 2 tick john wick. 2. you don't need to buy the felling handle, you can just buy the felling axe, according to ge-tracker dragon 2h axe is 200k cheaper than the felling handle even. (crystal ones aren't currently traded) but if you're going to get a felling handle eventually and are GRINDING forestry buy it right now and sell the one you obtain from forestry why not?

Bro, this was exactly what I need! No 20 minuten walkthrough of all the possibilities! Great!
Thanks! I try my hardest to keep the guides as short as possible :D
Excellent straightforward guide! The guide was so simple that it's making me want to try forestry!!!!
Thanks bro!
Great guide, quick and concise!
Thanks!! :D
Every guide should be made this way
Thanks bro! I agree guides should be kept short, there's too much fluff out there!

Still dont know how to find and participate in these events….On to the next guide!
I think you may just be slow buddy sorry
I got 99 WC like 5 years ago, is it worth doing forestry for anything?

Thanks for explaining so fast❤
You're welcome!
I got to 58 wc before realizing I had to have a foresters backpack equipped...
Its not that bad! It just means your forestry items will land in your inventory instead :)
Is there a meta discovered yet for which 2 trees to chop and teleport to to maximize bark/events/hr?
priff yews are pretty good for this.
This is a good guide but when i start how am i supposed to remember all of this lol
Felling axe better than the normal?
+10% more exp than normal!
@@osrsguide Did they remove that? doesnt work on redwoods?

...what is a forestry kit?
Are there common places for forestry groups to gather?

It’s nerfed overall - the day before I got 3 events per hour easy and yesterday/day I’ve had zero

Pheasant event sucks. I don't mind the rest tbh
ok so it went from boring to more boring

Seems like a trash change to woodcutting, seems like beginnings of EOC, tested out in woodcutting first
not every update you don't like is eoc
