Hi, would it be safer to put the patient in a aircast after the injection ? Because if there is new vascularisation caused by the inflammation, maybe the cortison could go inside the tendon and cause the rupture ? Thank you
Yes, by all means. However, keeping the needle in plane at all times may be safer with regards to the potential of needle-tendon injury, which is what we are trying to avoid. Hope this helps. Thank you for your question and best regards
