Honestly, you should start another series in CS1 like New Tealand, Biffalo Countea or Blightea-on-the-Wold, not doing rewatches. These series were the only films on RUclips for which I was just waiting on, beautifully modded and played with passion.
You should separate your cargo and passenger rails until the last possible second (at the edges of the map whenever possible). Use one-way rails for your main trunk connections to prevent crossovers that create congestion

A mistake Biffa often makes with train tracks is not using flying junctions
