@@ToskoOv Sorry Tosko for missing your original message! The velocity stacks on dual carb models can be very tricky to install. Depending on the velocity stacks, it may be easier to remove the carb first and install the stacks, then reinstall the carb onto the bike.
I don't know what is involved in converting a shadow to single carb, but I'm sure it can be done with enough ebay parts ;)
It has been so long since I've done the wiring on the Shadow I hope I can remember everything. I stripped as many wires as possible, which is a good amount of work. Tracing each wire back and safely cutting them, and fastening them up so they don't short circuit. The Shadow has SO many wires, sensors, and switches - so be prepared for a confusing time. I had to refer to a wiring diagram several times.
In a month or two I'll be working on the shadow again, I'll be sure to revisit the wiring I did!
