I mention that the full course is available in the playlist, BUT I need to tweak something first so it may be a couple days before that's actually true! Apologies for the convenience. I've been a fan and user of XSplit since 2012 and I'm really glad that this masterclass has been made. I'm extremely curious to go through it all to see what it adds to my experience in using XSplit.
My expectations when I tested this and stream with this software, I was amazed at how they performed really well without affecting anything in the game I tested which was csgo, which is cpu demanding game and I streamed on cpu also 720p60 6000 bitrate and it Stayed below 10% cpu usage all the time. They were such a really nice flow between the mouse and the game without feeling that they were anything heavy. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X This can be really good threat to other streaming software maybe?
First of all, thanks for the video Adam! Awesome stuff as usual. Second, XSplit actually reminds me a lot of SLOBS. The grid and snapping features, automatic game capture, etc. Not a bad thing at all! I quite like it, which I was not expecting. I use to poke fun at XSplit, but it actually seems like it has some unique features and they clearly understand some common complaints about other software. Very cool. Can't wait to see the rest of the series! 😄
720p/30fps looks fine on Twitch. If you are a small streamer who does not reliably get viewing quality options you want to use the minimal bitrate that maintains quality, to enable the greatest range of people to be able to view your stream. 60fps would demand a significantly higher bitrate.
Thank you Adam.. Excellent Tutorial. & The follow up videos give me even more options.. I Will be using X-Split gamecaster when I stream.. Everything A Stream Needs👌✨& More.... Thanx Again💫🧐🧐
Thanks for putting this all together. May take a look again. Tried it once or twice before and found it just didn't work for me no significant difference or improvements and they use to limit the free licence versions, when I had an upgraded account certainly was not worth renewing. I would always revert to OBS, Stream labs or other similar free variants, which offer the same. Will be good to see if anything has changed and if for the better.
Awesome! Can't wait for more, I been fiddling with gamecaster for a couple weeks and I thought it was really good but it's the only one I've ever used also! LOL
I think this is where I should be,glad I found you, great instructions and very clear nice work mate..all I want to do is record my vr gameplay from time to time with myself in a box in one corner showing the physical play at that time using webcam which I can do using OBS no probs only thing I want to do but don't know how to is remove the background from the webcam.maybe i don't need this software??not sure but I don't want to purchase or use a green screen. Hope someone can help Thanks to all
I loved this! But I am trying to stream and it’s saying to select an event but doesn’t show any options, I am trying to stream Sims 4 but it’s not working. Please help.
Thank you for posting these been using Xsplit since I started in January and just the type to play with stuff and learn I used both gamecaster and broadcaster now I'm at 1,000 followers on Facebook I wana take it seriously. For the most part stream 5 times a week. I noticed the quicker set up with gamecastwr but is there away to stream to multiple platforms on gamcaster?
Followed your steps to help myself in setting up game caster. When I launch a game it shows up on my scenes but when I go to play it, edit scene and disable live preview show up. Do I need to minimize gamecaster and play the game at full screen. I was hoping to be able to play the game in game caster itself. Any help is appreciated. Thanks and great video
Can I request to make a tutorial on how to stream your mobile game on Xsplit Gamecaster and also how to activate the sound of the game in your stream aswell as how to put background music and sound effects that you can navigate while streaming I Think that will help a lot because There are no contents about that on youtube. Thank you 😊
I just got an msi p-something gl66 I think it’s pulse? Is that any good for this sort of shit. I have it hooked to my tv as a second screen. I’m trying to find a good cheep/free encoder
Will you be coveting vMIX in the future? I have it due to its multiple platform different quality per platform settings, but the whole thing is super confusing to me.
as a youtuber can i improve an audio quality by connecting a condenser mic to audio interface to audio mixer then to pc by usb or audio mixer to audio interface to pc ? please help
My issue is this... When I have gamescreen enabled in scene editer, webcam is hide behind it, when I turn it off I can see webcam but then obviously no one can see what I am playing when streaming... and I am not trimming what game screen they can see otherwise they won't be able to see all of the game, like game and health at bottom etc etc. How do I tell webcam to appear over the damn game screen. I have been searching this for ages and nothing anywhere seems to cover it?!?!?!
So I stream league of legends and I have one of the themes downloaded and everything was working fine but as of late when I load up the game on stream the aspect ratio changes so the theme and the placement of the stream will be completely off
I saw your full obs tutorial and found it helpful I wanna try Xsplit But I can't see twitch chat Cause i stream to twitch through restream.io (not for multi streaming but connection issues) my connection with twitch is terrible it's a laggy messy stream I have a good connection with restream So the stream on twitch is clean But I can't see chat cause xsplit doesn't support restream chat I only need to see twitch chat Only using restream for connection issues
i like the new features, nut im having trouble setting it up,i play ATS,and i cant access this app or the taskbar when the game is launched,i tried the overlay thats supposed to switch back but it wont do it,i had hot keys, nothing works,so i cant record it because of these issues,i asked support and they are no help and are making it too hard to understand,i tried to be patient but its no use if they cant make this work with steam games like ATS,so right now i just wanna record it,but i cant get it set up,so i can get it the 1st try,so my ?'s are does the steam overlay and xsplit have to both be enabled for it to switch back n forth, and what do i do so after ATS is launched,to get it so i caan switch back so i can press record so i can play the game, but until i figure out whats causing my issues, its no use if it cant be made simple for a brand new streamer that doesnt know alot about it,and if the person has disability so if they get stuck or someone is not working there has to be something thats easy to understand,so my laptop,is not that good for this,i had AMD on it a few months ago,but i was locked out of it,i had to do a factory reset to get in,the AMD is gone,so now im starting over,so i need help to get this app to work with ATS so its detected, and so i can access the record/stop buttons etc with no issues,i have no access to credit cards or paypal so i need something thats gonna work and be free, and work like other streamers
@@EposVox Yes, in the beginning I started using Xsplit but I had no other choice but to drop it and go with OBS. I liked what gamecaster stands for but I was getting so many problems with lags and frame drops for no reason. Note: I did contacted there support center so they can check my PC and even though they said it was outstanding I continued having the same issues therefore, I looked for different options and I came across your OBS class. I'm still using OBS but this is golden.... why ? Because is very educational...thank you
xsplitbroadcaster and Gamecaster are incredibly heavy, very bad for those with a PC without a video card. uses a lot of ram memory among other things, for a streamer, the capture program needs to be well optimized, since it will have two programs spending the computer's resources at the same time, it would be interesting to make a lite version of each of the programs, I used to use xsplit, today only use OBS
only issue I have with this software is audio, if you are using VMB with just say cable A and B, you can't use these with this software? unless I am missing something. This is only dislike for it.

That overlay feature onto the game window for chat and stuff is nice!

Really interested to see how Xsplit has changed and if they're using plugins etc. Amped!
Wow, this series is really helpful. I've been using OBS for my streams. Going to try this out :)

Also, I'm not sure if any episodes include a multi-pc setup, but I hope it does.
Have you been on since it changed? There is no longer a login in for Xspilt plus the Interface looks way different
Don't need a SS feature in OBS, I have a nVidia graphics card. However the in game stream overlay is nice.
Epos is the man

I am having trouble getting twitch alerts to work with Xsplit Gamecaster. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to enable them.
What about GPU allocation issues with the software, are there any issues related to that?
My xsplit gamecaster is capturing both desktop and game, any idea on how to capture game screen only?
as a youtuber can i improve an audio quality by connecting a condenser mic to audio interface to audio mixer then to pc by usb or audio mixer to audio interface to pc ? please help
Do the scenes and etc. save at the cloud and backed up?
Looks Cool its great to master this with OBS

i'm having an alert issue, where my alerts come through on stream but the sound i've selected does not play
So I stream league of legends and I have one of the themes downloaded and everything was working fine but as of late when I load up the game on stream the aspect ratio changes so the theme and the placement of the stream will be completely off
Why split recordings?
Simply cause xsplit only does MP4(like you said get corrupted if not finalized)
I saw your full obs tutorial and found it helpful
I wanna try Xsplit
But I can't see twitch chat
Cause i stream to twitch through restream.io (not for multi streaming but connection issues)
my connection with twitch is terrible it's a laggy messy stream
I have a good connection with restream
So the stream on twitch is clean
But I can't see chat cause xsplit doesn't support restream chat
I only need to see twitch chat
Only using restream for connection issues
How do we use Xplit to record videos?
thumbs up
Why can't I put the gamecaster on monitor 2??

In the list of capture cards, there was Elgato Screen Link - not a name I recognise...
It just installs with their driver, it's for their iOS capture thingy
How can i fix High ping while recording?
I LOVE WATCHING YOUR, IDK IF you will see this comment or not. Just need help with using my custom alert video on gamecaster
I remember when Player Me start. since the scenes are from them. Is ok. not fantastic. Is ok still need to add. like audio files etc.

XSplit is not available on Linux. :(
Streaming is a bad time on Linux overall :(
@@EposVox Unfortunately that seems to be the case.
