I'm inspired by the way you report on sports and the the respect you show for the lives of those involved. I was listening to others and sometimes they get too subjective just trying to meet a requirement for another story.
You all are real and treat the people in the sport real. Thank you.

I'm a lifetime Steeler Fan period. Here We Go.
My comments aren't directed at team, players, coaches.
Anyone whi just wants to label another , you should walk in their shoes first.
Pro sports are a hard life.
WHT is it, .01% make it, and less than that will be totally fulfilled after sending 20 years, endless hours in the heat of summer, conditioning workout, heat, ice, Chyropractic, aches and pains minimally, and multiple surgeries realistically. If you make it your rewarded with personal success and millions of dollars, and if your blessed more than three years, team success, post carreer future, no brain damage, and no life shortening events.
Now that is the good part. The bad part is getting ignored, assed over, ridiculed, cut short cause new system is being put in place. Everything before this was at least criticisms from the professional athletics in your life.
Now we get to the final outcome of judgements. No, not us fanatic "fans", we're small potatoes, armchair atheletes, Monday morning quarterbacks who may have only played in someone's back "field of weeds".
We've had one Brian Leech who has recovered now into the fine man he is. But, no one recognized the preasures on this young man, actually at the time, he was just becoming a man. He needed help, which was not available in a system that made a 1000 or more times the money he was to get. Counciling is better today especially with the Steelers, who from the owners of our fine team, has historically been the case. If the greatest achievement in a team season is called a Lombardy, then the greatest NFL achievement award should be called a Rooney!
Now, I would ask that one more achievement award for the quality reporting and interpersonal relations award be called the DK Award for those in media. Let's strive to be as professionally objective as all others are expected to be in our sport. Let's not be motivated by a need to just file another deadline story. Let us be like DK, a consulate professional in reporting and evolving within our sport.

Hey DK! I love Cam Heyward, but instead of giving him an extension would you be opposed to trading him? Maybe Khan could use Cam to get Aiyuk. Maybe Cam would be cool with being traded to a contender that may be willing to give him the money he wants. Win win on both sides maybe? 🤷🏿♂️

Playing or practicing in heat and humidity is the worst condition for football. Why football is so big in the south is crazy when you think about the dangers of playing under those conditions. Heat stroke is very real!
