I love both of these but I loved my old corgi toy with the chain slasher activated by pressing down on the bat radar and the flame licking in and out of the turbine.
Back when they were new, I purchased the HWs standard, Elite, and Super-Elite, but returned the Super-Elite model. Side by side, they pretty much looked identical. The price increase for the SE covered a few small parts being metal instead of plastic, a stand made of metal, and a fancy box. The bodies were identical on all three versions from HWs, except the SE model had more defects, including rough edges on the front end on the one I received. Also, the special box was damaged by the fancy metal base poking through. So I sent the SE back. The JADA model is clearly a better value, as you indicate, and has more accurate details.
@@justrandomstuff84 Which Hot Wheels Elite Batmobile is the DC75? I have the original Elite release of the 1966 Batmobile and the JADA 1/18 version. Comparing them side by makes me wonder if you are joking.
I would buy a Jada if the trim was hot red like every other make out there! If they can't get the main detail right then Im not going to buy. C'mon Hot Wheels! Make one with lights, sound & 14th scale.
Hot wheels looks more like the actual batmobile I've seen from photos and the car at Peterman museum in LA, however the Jada is appealing for the price point and the working lights. I really appreciate your video. Thanks!
I had both but my house was burglarized on the 13th of April and my Hot Wheels was swiped so I bought this Jada for $54 new and I love it! As seen here, the Hot Wheels version is basically an immovable metal statue with little features to it, but the Jada? 😅Nice demo vid, thanks!
The Jada wheels are too big for 1966 but look good for a more modern look. There is something about the Hot Wheels version that just looks more correct. I own both because I like the lights and detail on the Jada.
If only there was a way to put the HW wheels on the Jada, and have the Jada pinstripes by painted red (like it looked in the show) instead of orange, then it would be perfect.
I really like the Batman and Robin figures that come with Jada… But I did pretty good I have the Mattel and I have the Batman and Robin figures which makes it so much better and not all of them came that way. The 1966 Batmobile is one of the most famous cars so popular and cool… Have a good day thanks for the video
Enjoyed the comparison. I have the 1:24 Jada and that version is more visually accurate. I'm not sure why they would lean into more inaccurate for the 1:18 but, being in the market for that scale now, it makes me want to favor the HWE version.
I agree with you, but I still bought this one (even though I have and like the Hot Wheels elite better for the reasons you said), because none of the Hot Wheels version light up so beautifully like the Jada version does. In a perfect world, Hot Wheels will introduce a newer version that fixes all problems from their 1:18 Batmobiles (the biggest problem is that the Hot Wheels version forgot to paint the pinstripes over the Bat Rays), and adds working lights for the headlights, BatRays, tail lights, exhaust, and beacon, and on top of that, adds the sound of not only the nana nana nana Batman music, but Robin and Batman saying "Atomic batteries to power, turbine to speed...", and the exhaust lights up exactly as we hear the sound effect of the engine firing up! I'd pay $500 for such a model!
great review. I have he HW Super Elite and was going to get Jada ( mostly for the lights ) but other than the interior that you pointed out the HW is more accurate with pinstripes, wheels, rocket tubes in back. too many accurate details to make me choose lights IMHO
I agree, I always looking for best value for my money; I get this two versions and sold Hotwheels one (their box design is lovely) and only keep Jada's version (I don't like Jada's versions in their other cars like lowrider or gangsta style with horrible tires, but in Batmobile they are winner)
@@TutoyzReview_Fiel_Gallardo yes, could be nice but if they release a 1:18 KITT I hope they make it with regular tires because their 1:24 version is a little lower. @@TutoyzReview_Fiel_Gallardo I saw your other videos and saw all your models. Is a very nice and complete collection. My 1940's Corgi's is without Batman inside but I like it so much too!
@@TutoyzReview_Fiel_Gallardo I know you only have 1/18 scale (I too), but maybe you should considerer one 1950's 1/24 from Johnny Lighting; has a mini bat-laboratorie inside, is very cool. Congrats
Thanks for the review. How about the wheel sizes, Jada obviously used 17" or 18" where Hot Wheels has the more accurate 15" looking wheels without low pro tires..
If I bought the Jada version I would take a fine model paint brush and go over the pin stripping with red paint since the orange/yellow is completely wrong. How much does it cost anyway?🦇🦇🦇🦇
I coloured over my 1/24 Jada stripes with a red sharpie, looks much better.Don't need to even be fussy because it doesn't show if you go over the black a bit.Lost the white outline on the door bats though.
I bought the basic hot wheels when it came out and was disappointed in its inaccurate scale, I'd say it's about 1/20 so it looks small when placed next to my 1/18 Futura.
George Barris gave Hot Wheels the rights to make the Batmobile and no body else and he gave a guy in Indiana to make the real Batmobile's no body else and that is why the yellow stripes because they don't have the rights to that car

Classic corgi is always one the best. Thats a vwry nice collection you have...
Killer getting one to make me remember my old corgi from the 70's 80's!!
Both are incorrect for 1:18 scale. They are both smaller.
is there a difference with the hot wheels normal and elite ?

Excelentes reproduções, mas ainda prefiro o hotwheels. Os filetes amarelos e os aros muito grandes do Jada, não me caem bem.
