A good way to bring Julie in would be for Daniel to reach out to her now that he knows Mr. Myagi had a dark past. She would probably be the only person alive that would have been close enough to Mr. Myagi to find this out as well.
Julie’s grandfather was a friend of Miyagi’s. I think in Daniel’s search for answers, he’s going to find out about her grandfather and then find her, and she’s going to have her grandfather’s journal or something and everything will be explained
The Next Karate Kid, albeit not the best one in the franchise, was the film that launched Hilary Swank's career. It was her first starring role, and she was the main character next to the late Pat Morita's Mr. Miyagi. And she's the only actress to win Oscars coming from the franchise. So Hilary needs to appear in Cobra Kai.
I like her as an actress, wasn't a fan of NKK. I'd like to see her return somehow to tie it all up with a nice little bow. Maybe deliver Daniel some form of closure.
Good catches! Those telltale eye shifts and pauses, lol! Because she was the main protagonist in her own movie, I wonder if the show might start an entire episode from her character's POV. It might start off in an airport, the camera follows someone leaving the terminal. When she exits the airport to meet her Uber, the camera pans around and reveals Julie Pierce. From there, we see her board the Uber and she has some banter with the driver, and it comes up that she is heading for the cemetery to pay a visit to Mr Miyagi. When she gets there she finds fresh flowers and signs of care and love, and perhaps some clue that prompts her to look for Daniel. (open to suggestions) Maybe she ends up showing up at the Miyagi dojo during a lesson? I'd be excited to see how a scene like that would play out.

Hilary gave birth to twins last year, so she would not have been available to return. Now is a great time for a return. Would love to see her in Cobra Kai.
I had taken a Netflix subscription for season 6, but having to wait until next November for the sequel clearly smells of Netflix and I will finish seeing them in Free Stream.

I recently watched The Next Karate Kid I liked the movie. From what I remember about Julie Pierce. She was VERY angry and bitter. Sometimes more than Tori. She lost BOTH parents to a car crash (A more violent, unexpected death). Julie had a happier relationship with her parents before the accident. Julie cared and nursed a hawk back to health. Mr. Miyagi helped her to realize about letting the hawk go free. (Hawks attack and eat cobras). She knows about Daniel-san, Mr. Miyagi briefly told her he trained another student. So, based on what I remember about the movie. Julie (I hope) will appear in Cobra Kai Season VI. She will be most helpful with Tori. Understanding, experiencing the death of a parent(s), the anger. By releasing the hawk Julie was symbolically letting go of her parents and the associated emotions. She cried as she pondered the bird's flying away. Julie will teach Tori about letting go of negative emotions of Tori's Mom dying, as well as her dealings with everything else. Julie may fight Kim Dae-um. In Season 5 Kim Dae-um give Tory a hard time. I see a female version of Mr. Miyagi when he battled Kreese in KK 2, Silver KK 3, Duggin The Next Karate Kid the adults bullying the kids. Julie will not like Kim Dae-um picking and fighting Tory, She will step in just as Mr. Miyagi previously mentioned.
I’ve thought about this since season 3 of Cobra Kai. It’s possible to connect Daniel and Julie together in the story line with Mr Miyagi as the mutual friend/mentor but it might be too late in the series. I was expecting that the boxing gym scene in part 1 of season 6 would have led Daniel and Chozen to her. Julie’s grandparents actually knew Mr Miyagi by his real name. Therefore Daniel would have to learn things from her about his mentor and feel like she knew him better. And then I think what does she really have to offer? Based on the training exercises at the monk sanctuary in the Next Karate Kid she might be able to jump high and have a long distance kick if she kept up with her training over the years. One person who will find her fascinating for having a pet hawk is of course Hawk! And that’s only if she has built some sort of aviary by now. I don’t think that Julie Pierce is going to bond so well with Tory just because her parents also died. What a terrible thing to have in common with someone! A better reason would be because they are both female fighters. Julie Pierce at least had her grandparents but Tori has no one to look after her except Kreese. No mention of grandparents or her father. I just wonder what happened to her little brother that she was taking care of early on in the series. However the main problem is that we are almost out of time considering that part 1 ended with the beginning of the Sekai Tekai. I’d really like to see a Miyagi flashback or Master Kim flashback of either of them or even both competing in the Sekai Tekai. With only two parts left in season 6 I’d say the most we can get from the series is a Sekai Tekai and maybe one last All Valley tournament at least with the younger generations like Anthony and Kenny and maybe Devon for the girls.

@bmv-…Yeah, The Next Karate Kid WAS mostly garbage but: 1.) KK3 was pretty shitty too…however, it gave us Barnes, Silver, and some interesting backstory to be mined later 2.) NKK-had the Miyagi gas station fight and some Miyagi-isms at the monastery that where pretty cool IMO 3.) It’s been 30-some years.. .Julie Pierce could literally be doing anything now. That gives the writers ample to use an A-list actor in any number of ways to enhance/add twists to the story…THINK: Typhoon Girl who wound up an automotive CEO they propelled the story along
Julie would be a good character to appeal to tori about coming to grips with losing her mom. Julie in a lot of ways is tori, but she had mister miyagi to help her through her troubles.

Well, now that Part 1 has come out, I have a theory that perhaps Julie's return will be linked to both Tory and Daniel. With Tory, it's pretty obvious, Julie might be a relative or a friend to Tory's mom and will have to live with Tory and her brother to protect the from child services or Tory's aunt until Tory turns 18...... but for Daniel..... Well we all know by now that Daniel has a big problem with letting go of Miyagi. So me thinks that even with all the mystery stuff, she is gonna help him let go. That was the theme for the TNKK movie, Julie's journey of letting go, the symbolism is in her injured hawk. Just like Daniel and the bonsai tree in KK3.

It's stupid not to bring her back. She is thenhest fighter miyagi trained. She went from nothing ro beating up trained men. Miyagi also showed her moves he never showed Daniel San. Cause he was too emotional. Julie is the key to Miyagi do winning.
I just hope she can help Daniel by telling him the secrets of Miyagi's past if she knows. After that she can make Daniel and Johnny ally's again. Maybe in part 3 she and Johnny can carry on Mr. Miyagi's legacy when Daniel steps down.
I really hope that Cobra Kai season six part two has longer runtimes and not episode runtimes. I hope that the Cobra Kai creators make the fights in part two of Cobra Kai season six more interesting.
I am a 90s kid the karate kid was in my awareness but it was more like for my dad or people older than me at the time I loved the next karate kid it was like the karate kid for my generation plus instead of jackie chans reboot julie got trained by OG mr Miyagi they owe it to Miyagis legacy she is part of the continuity and it would be so awesome to see scenes of her and Daniel reminiscing about Mr Miyagi
The big 3 said in a recent interview that there was at least one more character from thr karate kid films (that we haven't seen on CK before) returning in part 2 and 3. As to the purpose for Julie, i think it will mostly be related to Miyagis mystery box. It's possible that it was Miyagis war buddy (Julie's grandfather) who competed in the Sekai Takai. Daniel just assumes it was Mr Miyagi. And with the alias/name chnage for Miyagi, which was a nod to the name used in KK4, it sets up her involvement nicely. I agree whole she is around she'll cross paths with Kim Da Eun. Im gonna guess she might see her bullying Tory ans taking advantage of her grief over her mother. And it might fire her up as she also lost her mum as a teen, and also was bullied and an outsider.
I think the character (or at least one of the characters) who had a small part that will return is Kumiko. She and Chozen will get together. I think Daniel gets in touch with Julie and she will have the answers to Mr Miyagi's secrets.
I loved the next karate kid who can I say I was a 14-year-old girl when it came out lol I’m not sure if she’s coming back she could’ve just answered that question just for people to keep talking about her possibly being on cobra Kai
With more of Mr. Miyagi's pupils together the surrogate brother and sister can win. I am sure thy can share their views. I would like to see Julie mentor Sam and Tory also the other girls.
I think the whole mystery box of Myagi's secret past and his name change co inside with the Next Karate Kid. So it is directly going to allow the return of Hilary Swank.
Honestly I think if anyone can clear up the whole idea of Mr. Miyagi's "Past" it would be her. I think that something may go wrong in the tournament maybe not a "Loss" but still a rather powerful ending. I mean hey, maybe it will have to do with Miguel's father? Since remember it takes place in Barcelona spain and given how un-satisfying the otherwise awesome season 5 was I doubt that's the last we hear of him. At the risk of being prejudicial choosing a Spanish speaking country for the Tournament is likely a way for Hector to here about his Son, Miguel. Maybe that could be the final part of the Cobra Kai series? I mean I honestly don't know what else they could do after the Greatest Karate Tournament in the world.
I think the Thai Thai Kai or whatever it's called final big karate tournament. I think she'll be one of the judges or she might have her own school that the kids have to compete against maybe.
I would liked to have seen her come in as a sensei to train the students and be at the tournament but it's too late for that. the show hasn't even acknowledged the character Julie Pierce at all, so as far as we know daniel-san is not aware of Julie. I think She will appear in part 3 of the show to tie up the storyline about Mr Miyagi's past. Not exactly what I wanted but oh well

I feel like we have already seen that, several times, with Tory and Sam. It would be highly unrealistic to built a story-line out of nowhere where 2 people who have never met get into a fight for no apparent reason other than that it would be an interesting clash for the audience to watch, but we'll see what happens!
We haven’t seen two female SENSEI’S fight. It would be great! And I feel most are just reaching, to try and make it sound like it wouldn’t make sense to bring in Julie Pierce 😂 It’s gonna happen, whether people like it or not. Hilary was great in that movie. The writing though was a let down. She could be an ambassador as she was pretty close to those monks and was into the zen and wise teachings to control her emotions. I'm sure she would have an idea on Miyagi's past as his grand dad was close ties with Miyagi. Perfect way to circle to her to bring Daniel to reconcile the whole being of Miyagi.
They have brought smaller characters back. I personally wpuld love t9 see hilary and Ralph act opposite of eachotger talking about Mr. Miyagi. The whole boxing element brought in makes me think its possible. Remmber Swank in Million Dollar Baby a boxer? And I also think if she had time or not scheduled she would do it. She doesnt seem to be an actor thats to good for a return to a show like this. Just my hope.
if she is in Cobra Kai wouldn't there be some more leaks. It is not like a close set with only 4 people have seen her. Hilary Schwank could have been awesome to call in instead of Mark Barnes to select the best fighters in part 1.
I was going to say this is different from other psychopathic speculation media. Because it is somewhat correct regarding what Ralph says. But doesn't make it clear. He does pretty much imply that's the one piece missing. Referring to Julie who really should have played the role of his wife from the start. The second part of this video, however, is just completely insane. And mentioned eye movements that factually mean nothing. What means something is that she is clearly saying that it will likely be a no. Obviously, this could only be if they had not contacted her about it, she has not filmed anything. And she even talks about how this is the top question she gets asked all the time. It does imply she is open to it. But if she doesn't think she will be in it, then it only means she has not spoken with the production about it or done any work on it. However, the way the show is filmed, it seems she thinks it could still be a possibility for future parts of the season. But they would still have to contact her, and confirm it. Considering it's the last season, it's even more likely that there would be no way to write her into the story. Aside from a different show based on her character. Which the producers do not seem to be interested in.

It's deffintly not my favorite movie of the series by any stretch. But I would love to see Julie in it. As she is part of Miyagis teachings. Mr Myiagi only essentially had 2 students. So seeing them together would be kickass.
Honestly Hillary swank is such a big athlete actor she's not gonna be on a TV show if anything she's gonna be on the karate kid Upcoming movie because remember what Ralph been saying for the last few months now he's been saying stuff that was teasing at a possible karate kid film after the TV show.. Even the show the boys they want to do the same thing they want to finish off the show and then maybe in a couple of years conclude the series with a film. Something similar what stargate SG1 did they ended the show and then they concluded the show with the 2 stargate films that came right after Ark of truth and continuum

There were 3 very good films l saw Hilary swank in boys don't cry million dollar baby and the hunt l think she starred in them after the next karate kid the homesman was very good that Hilary swank was in as well and the core was good
I'm not sure why some people want to see this character so much. Julie was okay, but there was nothing extraordinary about her that I recall. 'The Next Karate Kid' didn't get a sequel. Just a decent film with a decent lead.
They ask her if she is Cobra Kai. If she appears she is probably Sensai of her own karate club Harris Hawk Karate or Angel Karate She wouldn't be in Cobra Kai. Julie Pierce took care of a wounded Hawk in The Next Karate Kid a Harris Hawk called Angel. Maybe Julie Pierce takes care of hawk if he gets wounded that would be a play on words.

Kumiko will confess to Chozen her longtime secret of giving birth to Daniel's love child after the events of KK2 many years ago. And their child became the parent of KWON.
As I said well before part 1 release if Julie Pierce returns, and it still is an if in my book, I predict a small cameo like roll. I think it’s more likely than not she does appear. We will see in her for a small amount of screen time in 1-2 episodes and not be a major part of the story. The reason for this is economics. Hillary Swank commands a premium for acting and her appearance will do little to boost audience viewing since it’s the last season. We’ll probably see both her & Dutch though at some point.
My concern for Cobra Kai season six part two and part three is that I hope the Cobra Kai don't add any explosive contents because to me that's too violent and I think that would be out of character for the characters to plant explosive devices. In episode three of part one, I was nervous because I thought that John Kreese had planted a bomb at Carmen's baby shower. I really hope that John Kreese and Terry Silver and Kim Sung Yung don't have fights that end up having explosive contents because to me that would make the story boredom. People don't want to see explosions in movies all the time and the Hollywood industry needs to do a better job with making movies.
Don't take this as negativity ... but is it just me or is the supposed return of Julie Pierce really not that important to the current story-lines that already are in place? Obviously i understand that her being there would fill some nostalgia box since after all she is part of the Miyagi-verse and lots of fans want to see her be part of Coba Kai, but other than that i can't think of a thing her character would add to the already developing stories that are in place without unnecessarily complicating already active story-lines. And given that the series is ending it is now time for developing story-lines to get wrapped up, not to start new ones .As far as we know of she has zero history with any of the main characters, including Daniel, at least not on-screen, though it is likely that they will have met eachother at some point in time. Also it isn't at all obvious that her karate would be at a sensei level since we don't know if she has worked on her skills throughout the years, even so it would make little sense if we were to see her swoop in and fight a Kim Da Eun that she has zero history with, sure it would give her character something to do but for that feud to be even remotely of interest as a selling point to the audience there would first have to be be somewhat of a developing story-line between the two of them, otherwise it would only have value in some aesthetic sense, assuming Hillary is still able to pull off those high kicks (she sure looks like she's still capable judging on her current physical presence!). Of course she could also return to fulfill some type of mentoring role to possibly Tory since Amanda has not done a sufficient job as such, at least from Tory's perspective, but then again, why Julie? And why now ? Also the last thing that Miyagi-Do needs is another sensei, there's already 4 of them if we count Mike Barnes, if halfway through the 6th season the kids are still in need of a 5th sensei then clearly Miyagi-Do is not doing a proper job teaching them what it is supposed to teach, also it's not that there are 100's of students, 4 sensei's should be more than enough to teach the basics. I would instead prefer to see Julie return, assuming that she does, only as a nod to the old movies, in some one-episode cameo, perhaps to share a lovely Miyagi anecdote with Daniel, as to, for the umpteenth time, restore yet another crisis of faith so that he can regain his laughably shaky balance yet again. At least let there be one main character left from the original series that has gotten her life in order enough to have moved past some 30+ year old memory. Having said all that, I'm curious to see which route the writers will take, i just hope it will be sort of realistic and that they will do justice to the saga by ending it with strength and conviction, like the way of the fist was intended to be. ✊
On second thoght. Hilary Swank says ‘I found my fullest purpose’ as a new mom to twins. So if she recently got kids I doubt she will join Cobra Kai Tv show.
She gave birth well over a YEAR ago, in april of 2023. They didn’t start shooting Season 6 before January of 2024, which would’ve given her 8 months to recover before filming even began. She’s gonna be there, so best just start to accept that 👍

I watched Hillary Swank’s karate kid but I didn’t care for it so I don’t remember much but I am hoping she returns. I am not like a “ feminist” however I would like to see the girls to have a female sinsai (forgive me if I misspelled that) and see her fight Kim Da-Eun. I hope she beats the crap out of Kim, Alicia Hannah Kim, the actress that plays Kim has done an excellent job because I have not like her character, except when she was a little girl.During the flashbacks, it did make me feel empathy for her. Adult Kim I do not like, I really hope the writers do NOT go that route.

I had taken a Netflix subscription for season 6, but having to wait until next November for the sequel clearly smells of Netflix and I will finish seeing them in Free Stream.

I recently watched The Next Karate Kid I liked the movie. From what I remember about Julie Pierce. She was VERY angry and bitter. Sometimes more than Tori. She lost BOTH parents to a car crash (A more violent, unexpected death). Julie had a happier relationship with her parents before the accident. Julie cared and nursed a hawk back to health. Mr. Miyagi helped her to realize about letting the hawk go free. (Hawks attack and eat cobras). She knows about Daniel-san, Mr. Miyagi briefly told her he trained another student. So, based on what I remember about the movie. Julie (I hope) will appear in Cobra Kai Season VI. She will be most helpful with Tori. Understanding, experiencing the death of a parent(s), the anger. By releasing the hawk Julie was symbolically letting go of her parents and the associated emotions. She cried as she pondered the bird's flying away. Julie will teach Tori about letting go of negative emotions of Tori's Mom dying, as well as her dealings with everything else. Julie may fight Kim Dae-um. In Season 5 Kim Dae-um give Tory a hard time. I see a female version of Mr. Miyagi when he battled Kreese in KK 2, Silver KK 3, Duggin The Next Karate Kid the adults bullying the kids. Julie will not like Kim Dae-um picking and fighting Tory, She will step in just as Mr. Miyagi previously mentioned.
I’ve thought about this since season 3 of Cobra Kai. It’s possible to connect Daniel and Julie together in the story line with Mr Miyagi as the mutual friend/mentor but it might be too late in the series.
I was expecting that the boxing gym scene in part 1 of season 6 would have led Daniel and Chozen to her. Julie’s grandparents actually knew Mr Miyagi by his real name. Therefore Daniel would have to learn things from her about his mentor and feel like she knew him better.
And then I think what does she really have to offer? Based on the training exercises at the monk sanctuary in the Next Karate Kid she might be able to jump high and have a long distance kick if she kept up with her training over the years. One person who will find her fascinating for having a pet hawk is of course Hawk! And that’s only if she has built some sort of aviary by now.
I don’t think that Julie Pierce is going to bond so well with Tory just because her parents also died. What a terrible thing to have in common with someone! A better reason would be because they are both female fighters. Julie Pierce at least had her grandparents but Tori has no one to look after her except Kreese. No mention of grandparents or her father. I just wonder what happened to her little brother that she was taking care of early on in the series.
However the main problem is that we are almost out of time considering that part 1 ended with the beginning of the Sekai Tekai. I’d really like to see a Miyagi flashback or Master Kim flashback of either of them or even both competing in the Sekai Tekai.
With only two parts left in season 6 I’d say the most we can get from the series is a Sekai Tekai and maybe one last All Valley tournament at least with the younger generations like Anthony and Kenny and maybe Devon for the girls.

1.) KK3 was pretty shitty too…however, it gave us Barnes, Silver, and some interesting backstory to be mined later
2.) NKK-had the Miyagi gas station fight and some Miyagi-isms at the monastery that where pretty cool IMO
3.) It’s been 30-some years.. .Julie Pierce could literally be doing anything now. That gives the writers ample to use an A-list actor in any number of ways to enhance/add twists to the story…THINK: Typhoon Girl who wound up an automotive CEO they propelled the story along

Julie would be a good character to appeal to tori about coming to grips with losing her mom. Julie in a lot of ways is tori, but she had mister miyagi to help her through her troubles.

Well, now that Part 1 has come out, I have a theory that perhaps Julie's return will be linked to both Tory and Daniel. With Tory, it's pretty obvious, Julie might be a relative or a friend to Tory's mom and will have to live with Tory and her brother to protect the from child services or Tory's aunt until Tory turns 18...... but for Daniel..... Well we all know by now that Daniel has a big problem with letting go of Miyagi. So me thinks that even with all the mystery stuff, she is gonna help him let go. That was the theme for the TNKK movie, Julie's journey of letting go, the symbolism is in her injured hawk. Just like Daniel and the bonsai tree in KK3.

It's stupid not to bring her back. She is thenhest fighter miyagi trained. She went from nothing ro beating up trained men. Miyagi also showed her moves he never showed Daniel San. Cause he was too emotional. Julie is the key to Miyagi do winning.
I just hope she can help Daniel by telling him the secrets of Miyagi's past if she knows. After that she can make Daniel and Johnny ally's again. Maybe in part 3 she and Johnny can carry on Mr. Miyagi's legacy when Daniel steps down.

I am a 90s kid the karate kid was in my awareness but it was more like for my dad or people older than me at the time I loved the next karate kid it was like the karate kid for my generation plus instead of jackie chans reboot julie got trained by OG mr Miyagi they owe it to Miyagis legacy she is part of the continuity and it would be so awesome to see scenes of her and Daniel reminiscing about Mr Miyagi
The big 3 said in a recent interview that there was at least one more character from thr karate kid films (that we haven't seen on CK before) returning in part 2 and 3.
As to the purpose for Julie, i think it will mostly be related to Miyagis mystery box. It's possible that it was Miyagis war buddy (Julie's grandfather) who competed in the Sekai Takai. Daniel just assumes it was Mr Miyagi. And with the alias/name chnage for Miyagi, which was a nod to the name used in KK4, it sets up her involvement nicely.
I agree whole she is around she'll cross paths with Kim Da Eun. Im gonna guess she might see her bullying Tory ans taking advantage of her grief over her mother. And it might fire her up as she also lost her mum as a teen, and also was bullied and an outsider.

I think the character (or at least one of the characters) who had a small part that will return is Kumiko. She and Chozen will get together. I think Daniel gets in touch with Julie and she will have the answers to Mr Miyagi's secrets.

Honestly I think if anyone can clear up the whole idea of Mr. Miyagi's "Past" it would be her.
I think that something may go wrong in the tournament maybe not a "Loss" but still a rather powerful ending.
I mean hey, maybe it will have to do with Miguel's father? Since remember it takes place in Barcelona spain and given how un-satisfying the otherwise awesome season 5 was I doubt that's the last we hear of him. At the risk of being prejudicial choosing a Spanish speaking country for the Tournament is likely a way for Hector to here about his Son, Miguel.

I would liked to have seen her come in as a sensei to train the students and be at the tournament but it's too late for that. the show hasn't even acknowledged the character Julie Pierce at all, so as far as we know daniel-san is not aware of Julie. I think She will appear in part 3 of the show to tie up the storyline about Mr Miyagi's past. Not exactly what I wanted but oh well

I feel like we have already seen that, several times, with Tory and Sam. It would be highly unrealistic to built a story-line out of nowhere where 2 people who have never met get into a fight for no apparent reason other than that it would be an interesting clash for the audience to watch, but we'll see what happens!

Hilary was great in that movie. The writing though was a let down.
She could be an ambassador as she was pretty close to those monks and was into the zen and wise teachings to control her emotions. I'm sure she would have an idea on Miyagi's past as his grand dad was close ties with Miyagi. Perfect way to circle to her to bring Daniel to reconcile the whole being of Miyagi.

I was going to say this is different from other psychopathic speculation media. Because it is somewhat correct regarding what Ralph says. But doesn't make it clear. He does pretty much imply that's the one piece missing. Referring to Julie who really should have played the role of his wife from the start. The second part of this video, however, is just completely insane. And mentioned eye movements that factually mean nothing. What means something is that she is clearly saying that it will likely be a no. Obviously, this could only be if they had not contacted her about it, she has not filmed anything. And she even talks about how this is the top question she gets asked all the time. It does imply she is open to it. But if she doesn't think she will be in it, then it only means she has not spoken with the production about it or done any work on it. However, the way the show is filmed, it seems she thinks it could still be a possibility for future parts of the season. But they would still have to contact her, and confirm it. Considering it's the last season, it's even more likely that there would be no way to write her into the story. Aside from a different show based on her character. Which the producers do not seem to be interested in.

As I said well before part 1 release if Julie Pierce returns, and it still is an if in my book, I predict a small cameo like roll. I think it’s more likely than not she does appear. We will see in her for a small amount of screen time in 1-2 episodes and not be a major part of the story. The reason for this is economics. Hillary Swank commands a premium for acting and her appearance will do little to boost audience viewing since it’s the last season. We’ll probably see both her & Dutch though at some point.
I'm sure getting Jackie Chan back was more premium for Sony than Hilary Swank asking price.
My concern for Cobra Kai season six part two and part three is that I hope the Cobra Kai don't add any explosive contents because to me that's too violent and I think that would be out of character for the characters to plant explosive devices. In episode three of part one, I was nervous because I thought that John Kreese had planted a bomb at Carmen's baby shower. I really hope that John Kreese and Terry Silver and Kim Sung Yung don't have fights that end up having explosive contents because to me that would make the story boredom. People don't want to see explosions in movies all the time and the Hollywood industry needs to do a better job with making movies.

Don't take this as negativity ... but is it just me or is the supposed return of Julie Pierce really not that important to the current story-lines that already are in place? Obviously i understand that her being there would fill some nostalgia box since after all she is part of the Miyagi-verse and lots of fans want to see her be part of Coba Kai, but other than that i can't think of a thing her character would add to the already developing stories that are in place without unnecessarily complicating already active story-lines. And given that the series is ending it is now time for developing story-lines to get wrapped up, not to start new ones .As far as we know of she has zero history with any of the main characters, including Daniel, at least not on-screen, though it is likely that they will have met eachother at some point in time. Also it isn't at all obvious that her karate would be at a sensei level since we don't know if she has worked on her skills throughout the years, even so it would make little sense if we were to see her swoop in and fight a Kim Da Eun that she has zero history with, sure it would give her character something to do but for that feud to be even remotely of interest as a selling point to the audience there would first have to be be somewhat of a developing story-line between the two of them, otherwise it would only have value in some aesthetic sense, assuming Hillary is still able to pull off those high kicks (she sure looks like she's still capable judging on her current physical presence!). Of course she could also return to fulfill some type of mentoring role to possibly Tory since Amanda has not done a sufficient job as such, at least from Tory's perspective, but then again, why Julie? And why now ? Also the last thing that Miyagi-Do needs is another sensei, there's already 4 of them if we count Mike Barnes, if halfway through the 6th season the kids are still in need of a 5th sensei then clearly Miyagi-Do is not doing a proper job teaching them what it is supposed to teach, also it's not that there are 100's of students, 4 sensei's should be more than enough to teach the basics. I would instead prefer to see Julie return, assuming that she does, only as a nod to the old movies, in some one-episode cameo, perhaps to share a lovely Miyagi anecdote with Daniel, as to, for the umpteenth time, restore yet another crisis of faith so that he can regain his laughably shaky balance yet again. At least let there be one main character left from the original series that has gotten her life in order enough to have moved past some 30+ year old memory. Having said all that, I'm curious to see which route the writers will take, i just hope it will be sort of realistic and that they will do justice to the saga by ending it with strength and conviction, like the way of the fist was intended to be. ✊
On second thoght. Hilary Swank says ‘I found my fullest purpose’ as a new mom to twins. So if she recently got kids I doubt she will join Cobra Kai Tv show.
She gave birth well over a YEAR ago, in april of 2023. They didn’t start shooting Season 6 before January of 2024, which would’ve given her 8 months to recover before filming even began. She’s gonna be there, so best just start to accept that 👍

I watched Hillary Swank’s karate kid but I didn’t care for it so I don’t remember much but I am hoping she returns. I am not like a “ feminist” however I would like to see the girls to have a female sinsai (forgive me if I misspelled that) and see her fight Kim Da-Eun. I hope she beats the crap out of Kim, Alicia Hannah Kim, the actress that plays Kim has done an excellent job because I have not like her character, except when she was a little girl.During the flashbacks, it did make me feel empathy for her. Adult Kim I do not like, I really hope the writers do NOT go that route.
