I played the NES version a lot as a kid. I was at an arcade a few weeks ago and they had a Pin Bot there. It was absolutely incredible to play it in person and feel the sensation of it in real life.
I found the NES version on the cheap lately. I heard you benefit from being a fan of the pinball table already, but honestly I think Id have liked the game less in that case considering how different the speed and ball behavior seems to be.
I was introduced to the NES version of this back in 1992. I had no idea it was based on a real table until around 2013, at which point it quickly became my second favorite pinball table, behind the Terminator 2 one.
I just remembered the name of this game the other day when talking about my favourite pinball games from the eighties. Thankyou so much for posting this. It brought back some great memories.
I havnt seen this ... in so many years i got to play a few times... i miss it ... and recently in 2016/17 got the rare chance to play bride of pin bot.. god i loved it so much and i played the NES version that is exactly like this one and its hard as hell .. it feels so happy to see the real pin ball game again.. god i wish i could just play it once more it acted the same way on the NES version.
David Wise did some SERIOUS magic with the music programming in that game. It's so accurate to the real songs, and the vocalization was pretty good too. It's gotta be one of the best soundtracks on the NES.
also wanted to add that this is the NES version I grew up with, i would LOVE to hear/see your input on it vs you having the real thing ruclips.net/video/XEWflJqPMiM/видео.html i honestly watch it and hear/see the exact same thing but i imagine its FAR harder on a actual machine

I played the NES adaptation of this but I never seen the actual machine in person. I have played Bride of Pinbot though.

Funny, I am possibly purchasing a restored PinBot next week, and I never knew that they made it (or BOP) for the NES! I would have picked it up!😁
