Does your home promotion allow the talent to take the title belts home with them? Or does it remain with the person who purchased it or a member of the production team?
Ours does. They protect those things with their lives. We had a mini freak out when the guy who had our old main belt forgot it at home but we ended up just revealing the new one. The old one is now our hardcore title.
Some promotions I've been at always got two of each belt. One was always in the hands of the promotion and one was in the hands of the champion since he was most likely working elsewhere as well and having the belt on him gives the promotion the championship came from more name recognition. Some promotions can only afford one of each, though. One of those promotions only let me take the belt home because I took care of it just as well as the prop guy would have after he got sick. It also helped that I was a part of a championship belt forum (you probably know which one) and was already a "belt mark" since the age of 14.
They do. Is actually very normal that that wrestlers take the title belt to home and carried.b
😂 But the first thing my character would do if i won the belt is set it on fire! What would happen to me then???
i like to imagine this is how Mike summons Cesaro when he needs some heavy lifting done
When I drove a Hyundai Excel, Cesaro once served as the jack while I changed out a flat tire. #Literally
@@TilWeMakeIt Big Swiss is awesome.
Hell of a special guest.
I really hope TWMI gets more attention with this kind of stuff. Really great material.
Don't leave it on top of a limo
Don’t bring it into the bedroom like “someone” did..
I’ve been caring for my titles like this for years!
Belts not titles
Belts are what hold your pants up buddy!
@@kingJshawn
Belts go around your waist asshole.
I just figured there was a backstage professional person that polished the titles for the holders. Especially before going out on television. 🤷🏾♂️
Belts not titles
"Avengers Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover event ever"
TWMI: "Hold my championship belt"
This is a great video. Just won my first and it's looking a bit worn. So hopefully I can make it look great again
Good luck shining it up, champ! A few times, if paint has been chipped or flecked away, I've had to reach out to the belt-maker to get an exact description of a matching paint, and then I just bought it from an art supply store so I could touch up the little chips myself. That way the belt looks awesome, and makes you look awesome, too.
This belt was created by leather Rebel.
In the days of the NWA National wrestling Alliance) the champion used to put $25,000 deposit when you receive the title for protection if something happened to it.
The NWA big gold belt cost $13,000 in 86 to make but the retail value of it was $25,000.
Where did you get that $13000 figure from?
@@RussianNightmare I think it is written in the book the big gold belt
@@vincentlapointe4273 Thanks - I only ask because I had spoken with someone from Crumrine before it was known by all who made the belt and they told me it was closer to 20k, just under.
@@RussianNightmare I think the retail price was $23,000 the price to make it was 13.000.
I think it's written on a bell talk page. pleasure brother have a good day
I can't thank enough to you two, such a wonderful video 🥰
Thank you for checking it out!
Wildcat Belts does amazing work. We’re lucky to have Hot Shot in our area.
I’m going to add belt care equipment to my emergency bag.
The champ should always have a microfiber cloth, lol!
Try this please : "Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio Castagnoli !"
such an amazing summon. Sadly, the summon did not bring a power point to help us.
I am disappointed that there were no powerpoint presentation from drew.
Drew Gulak is better than Beetlejuice. Confirmed.
and don't forget amazing.
Ok I’m a belt collector and what I do is if it Has like something on it like dirt I just spray it with water and use a towel gets it all off
I couldnt tell even in close up that there was dust on it, so I dont think anyone on tv would be able to see that, but I get its a good idea to keep it polished, I think most ppl would take good care of a title
Thanks so much for the inside scoop Drew and Mike! Too bad that title is retired now. I'm curious if Drew puts the title in one of those cloth zip pouches before putting it in the carry on, or just wraps it in some clothes or something?
When the referee presents the belt to both competitors before a championship match, what is he saying? "Hey, here's that belt, in case you forgot what it looks like."?
Pretty certain that is the exact verbiage.
Love these videos, audio is always super low.
How did you prefer to hold your belt? Around your waist, over the shoulder, or do you just hold it?
gonna be honest if i ever make it to do pro wrestling(such a young age and my geographical location SUCKS FOR THIS) As cool and prestigious any pro wrestling belt is id rather never hold one i mean if i was able make every choice for my character ill take the beginner match the pass time middle of match card match the main event the champion vs challenger spots but id never wanna win them cause ehhh for me it is too common in the organization closest id ever wanna get is maybe a story line where i just run out with the championship without actually winning it for massive heat or if i have to win one it be tag championships, tbh why idk i just find holding in one hand my title and the other person holding the opposite hand up with their title raised up high looks like the coolest thing ever
Was this a replica in the video or is this the real one from tv
how do i get the leather smell out of well the leather strap of the belt?
Tetsuya Naito disliked this video!
This is kinda off topic but does WWE choose your championship
Pretty much everything with WWE is chosen for your, including which championship you hold
How can I clean a Million dollar belt 🤔
hot water and microfibre cloth to clean it
I'll be chikara pro champ soon
this didnt age well
Drink some bubbly and just leave it somewhere.
...I advise against this.
Grand Champion was awesome hate when indys just use a replica
wtf
Belt not title
The WWE Raw and SmackDown Tag Team titles are garbage change them.
I'll get right on that.
