Wow, what a fun spot! I love the dynamic nature of this spot, I'd love to see more areas with variable water levels like this! Awesome bird diversity here, here's a list if anyone is interested: 6:38 - common grackle 7:16 - red-shouldered hawk 7:31 - black-crowned night-heron 7:56 - wood stork in the foreground (big bird, huge bill, white with dark wings), great blue heron (big, long-necked, dark bird), and white ibis (smaller, curved bill) in the back 10:05 - great egret 10:53 - barred owl 15:21 - little blue heron
i have waited for your video and I am sure so have others! I checked every day...no kidding! Got another cup of coffee and am ready now for my treat. Thank you, Tim Harrell! I may be one of your oldest fans...I am Mrs. Macci ( not David) and I will be 81 in a few days. :)
Great documentary. One camera taking pictures of another camera taking pictures of a third camera. Also loved the red arrows highlighting the critters. Nicley done Tim.
Fantastic videos, Tim! Yours are some of the best videos on RUclips. I imagine RUclips will start giving out awards and you will definitely win several.
Fantastic footage. Great content. Your camera placement is spot on for capturing wildlife. It also scares the gator poo out of me every time I see you get near water. I expect a rush of water and a monster gator to lunge at you. You're brave. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. See you next time!
Excellent channel! I’m a herpetologist/biologist in the St. Petersburg area, and these videos are encouraging me to take a trip down south to see the Everglades and all of the wildlife exclusive to that region. I’m curious if you’ve ever considered setting a trail camera up near a gopher tortoise burrow to observe the animal traffic that occurs going in and around those. There are well over 100 species such as eastern indigo snakes, diamondback rattlesnakes, and burrowing owls that live in and around burrows. Thanks, and take care!
Thanks Andrew. I have thought about that before. I know where there are a few active gopher tortoise holes. The problem is there are not any trees around them to mount the camera to.
Gee I feel like I time warped into the past for another great video. 14:10 otter is like "water's too cold". Thank you for all you do to keep us all entertained.
I just found these. Thank you for these vids. As a disabled person, it is wonderful to see the wildlife I’m no longer able to go into the woods to see. Love these.
Great Video as usual Tim. Thanks for all of your hard work. I look forward to each of your videos. I'm up in West/Central Florida (Largo). We get a great variety of "critters" up here also, but you take it to new levels. Keep up the great work !
When my grandkids were little we had so much fun looking at the night creatures on the game cam! I must get another one for my own pleasure! Fun! Thanks for sharing!
Mr. Harrell posted a Vid! Hurry Quick! Smash the thumbs up and THEN watch it! Another amazing collection of Florida flora and fauna, thanks for all the hard work editing these.
Another great one! Too cool to see the great blue heron runoff the wood stork🤣 I can remember when the blue herons were close to being endangered good to see them thriving! But I have zero love for the water moccasins! They are my only concern when walking through the swamp. I'm sure they are yours as well Tim. More Cypress Creek please👍
@@ShrikeZone that's really good to hear I will be looking forward to my notification Bell! And remember Tim no more aerial view of Cypress Creek it would be too easy for the locals to find your cameras. Thanks again for all your efforts.
Love your videos man. I grew up in a Alabama swamp. I recently got a Kayak and guess where I go almost daily? Right on my home town swamp! Thanks for helping me get back to nature.
Boy, those birds catch some pretty big fish in such a small pond. Nice to see the heavy rain. Must say, never saw gator turds before. Aren’t the otters afraid of the gator possibly being in the pond? Great sounds of the swamp.
That was great stuff. Neat to see the pecking order among the different birds. I don't know if I have seen storks on any of your videos before. Cool. Wonderful family of otters.
Love watching all your videos but this one was especially good. Some animals we never get to see much off. Love the ghost orchids. Love all orchids. Thanks for all u do so we can see these parts of Fl.
I'm glad you posted this-I was waiting for a new one while I was in Florida for a month (Jan-Feb) in Vero Beach. I have to go everywhere alone and I thought of you when I was walking around the bird impoundment 2.5 mile trail at Pelican Island NWR. Of course that's not swamp, per se, though pretty mucky, and no bears, alligators nor otters, but nobody was on the trail. Lots of birds though. The alligators I saw on an airboat at the Blue Cypress Preservation area; they are more solid black than the ones I'd see in Texas. I'm wondering where are you exactly? I wanted to go drive down to the Everglades, but since my parents are old, I have to go everywhere alone and in no way do I have the guts to go where you're going with several major predators and snakes. (Glad you got a snake on this one.) Do you have any suggestions of where I could go or what to do that wouldn't entail trudging around alone? Other than airboat rides, is there anyplace where people go walking through these wild areas, something along the lines of a guided tour? I though the animals would be alligator food here, especially the racoon. On an Algonquin Park cam trail video, it caught a bear dragging away a deer, and very quickly. Do you catch animals attacking others on your cams and choose not to post them? In Texas I never saw them, but a guy went there at night and sure caught them grabbing the small deer, raccoons, etc. Thanks!
Great bird shots - we have herons and egrets here in Massachusetts, but no storks. I think there was a Louisiana heron near the end - never seen one of those either.
I been looking at some if your videos and it sure seems when it real quiet, animals respond to what might be a sound or light from your camera . Also see and Skunk Ape’s , what funny thing to look for.
Another Great Video Tim !! I Still Say U are the Bravest Guy Ever ! Probably in the whole State.. Just wondering tho..have u ever came close to danger as a Alligator chasing u or a bear while ckn on yr cameras? Looking forward to the next video ! 🙋🏼♀️
I am astounded at the minuscule amount of snakes you come across. I would think they'd be all over. And 3-video-minutes later, of course, what do we see...a snake. Water-moccasin/Cottonmouth? Looks like a big one if it is.
Have you or will you ever do a equipment review of the trail cams you have and if you make one will you please explain how you put your lock on the cam and secure them? I’ve never owned one but your video’s have inspired me to get one.
Hi Tim. Thank you for your videos - I love them! I was wondering if you could do one video that is an “Introduction to Wildlife” or something, where you show all the different critters and tell us what they are?
Thanks Susan. I'll try to put something like that together. Maybe a "best of" showing all the different critters that I get on my cameras in south Florida and I'll included the names on the screen.

More Cypress Creek please👍
Yea, I don't care for the moccasins. I have 2 cameras in cypress creek. I checked them this morning and I've been getting some good action.
@@ShrikeZone that's really good to hear I will be looking forward to my notification Bell! And remember Tim no more aerial view of Cypress Creek it would be too easy for the locals to find your cameras. Thanks again for all your efforts.

Once you say lots of birds, I know I am going to enjoy it
That's the name of the next tune I write. Ghost orchids and Gator turds.lmao. Hey if you stumbled in that water would that gator get you??
Just fantastic! Thanx so much. Has inspired us to get a kit and set it up in the woods by our cabin in B.C. Canada!
What were the dark little slinky creatures with long sleek tails? Otters?
Back in time! This was a fabulous one thanks so much. Should have titled it Ghost Orchids and gator turds!
I love the trail cam videos...
I been looking at some if your videos and it sure seems when it real quiet, animals respond to what might be a sound or light from your camera . Also see and Skunk Ape’s , what funny thing to look for.
There is a faint red glow on the camera during the night videos.
Otters are viscous animals but there so adorable and one of my faves
Great channel like this guy. Good work.
It amazes me that u can be deep into the swamp and there is a another human being rounding the gator pond.
these videos are so amazing!! thanks for sharing mate!!

Yes he has had to jump some gators and faced off with a few bear .
Cool video yet again I always look forward to seeing all the animals
Amazing how many fish the birds get out of that tiny pond.
Beyond great! Wow!
Keep em coming!
How do you walk through a zero visibility swap without fear gators?
You do love your ghost orchids!
Thanks Tim. Nice ending.
Awesome. Thanks for going back and grabbing this and sharing it with us. Good stuff. :)
There was an Owl! Awesome video !
Really loved this video. Thank you😊

Yeah, it's a Cottonmouth.

I like dinos references 😊 peraphs this habitats always remind my a mesozoic feel🐊🦕🦖🦎
👌👍 what kind of camera do u have TIM Harrell love the video 👍😀
How are you not scared of gators? Walking around in that water
Should've put a 😃 face on that gator turd, once you put in a couple of eye sockets.
Florida and Louisiana are America's amazon rainforest, it's amazing down there.
