I have to say this, I didn't quit WuWa only because I like concept of echoes, over all graphic style, and combat. Some characters story and unequal fan service should be fixed, plus echo slot upgrade so we can actually enjoy playing with echoes. (Not mentioning some characters don't even exist in story or in any other way, they are just there)

I understand what she says about exploration but if the only way the game gets me to look at it's environment is by restricting by movement with rocks than it means there isn't much worth looking at. I stop and admire the world in Wuwa much more than many games simply because i am not frustrated by it's exploration. The problem for the chests is that at the end it is still a gacha and the chests contain gacha currency. If all they had were credits and a few mats people would be fine with finding them organically.

I belive she is really not the target audience, there's a big different between action fast phase combat to element reaction team (I chek her channel). Both have system rotation but it was implemented in the opposite way so its very understable how she still lacks information about combat Same as endgame content, some people may like hollogram because it stimulates adrenaline for hardcore player's, some people may like TOA bcs it is suitable for players who optimize their rotation and gear (so they feel rewarding after clearing the mode), and some peoples prefer illusive realm bcs the mode its fun for player who just want to keep repeating the challenge without dependence on good echo or optimal rotation Now.. you as player have choice~

The problem I have with genshin's climbing is that they copied from BOTW but didn't copy the stuff that made it convenient like the climbing gear to make it go faster or food buffs to increase stamina and make climbing go faster. They just copied it and left it there for 4 years with barely any innovation. Like ToTK the sequelt to BoTW came out and even they knew that climbing would get tiring for players if they did too much of it so they invented new ways for traversal while genshin on the other hand chose to do nothing with their mountains of monthly revenue. They gotta be one of the most incompetent lazy devs out there. edit: ok I stand corrected genshin did add some things to make traversal better like grappling points and mushrooms. I guess I just did not like how they implemented it since there are still times where I am in an area with none of those mechanics and have to painfully slowly climb up it would have been so much better if they just straight up gave us a grappling hook without the need to pull for kimchi (green Natlan kid)
Some of what you've said isn't true. Let me explain: there is a handful of food that decreases stamina consumption by 20% for climbing, spirinting, swimming, and gliding, which is applied to the whole party. I know because I checked it yesterday for a video I'm working on.
@@KallaTheYapper347 I see well I guess I just didn't see that since when genshin first started that food item didn't exist and since I don't keep up with food updates I never knew about it. My bad on that part. Still they should add more it's been 4 years the map only keeps getting bigger while traversal gets tiring. It even lessens my enjoyment of getting new characters sometimes because it feels like such a drag to go out and get the items to level them up.

@haxx1707 I think the foods have been added in mass since the start of the game but since it's not something most players bother to think about especially when you've increased multiple statues to max which increases the stamina bar u don't really bother thinking of ways to reduce stamina consumption. @haxx1707 That's valid. If they just tune up the base movement, speed climbing wouldn't be as much as a hassle. However, it is important to note that Genshin's devs have implemented mechanics that reduce the need to climb in a fair amount of locations. Like in Inazuma, Sumeru, Chenyu Vale, and Natlan (currently).

Exploration is tied to a person-by-person experience and having a limited stamina bar or a freely controlled stamina bar that does restrict the player by creating a system to make it difficult to travel isn’t a good system, especially in a game about Exploration players hated the limited stamina bar in breath of the wild and it has been one of the harshest critiques of that game and that's why people found a workaround to make Exploration more enjoyable but if it has to reach that point then it shouldn't have been added in the game, to begin with
I actually hard agree with her on teambuilding. All the teams I run are the exact same or limited versions of the teams everybody else is running, and builds don’t add much either. There is no targeting different substats or mainstats to meaningfully change the way a unit plays, it’s just how many of the good substats you can get.
she says managing stamina climbing was fun. lets see her do that another thousand time and hear her out again. while it's true having restriction in movement can feel fun and immersive the first time, it's different story when you have somewhere to go or something you need to get done and you still have to deal with the same climbing you've been doing over and over and over and over again knowing you are completely capable of doing it but you still have to do it again just because "open world game gotta be open world"
Stamina only matters in Genshin if you don't have the correct units. With Mavuika, Xilonen, Xianyun, Yelan etc. Your not even using your stamina bar and just zip around using skills. I hate that I'm "locked" into those exploration units and cannot use the teams I want to in Genshin. This is the worst thing with Genshin for me actually and that you can just use any units you want in over world as exploration mechanics are not locked behind units is very good.
What a take on the LM. Wanna be the best hardcore chest finder? Then don't use the loot mapper! Everyone doesn't have the time to the to be chronically online just to tediously find chests. The LM is there to make casual players have an easier time to find loot. Not everything should abide with someone's hardcore experience.
Which is good to know since WuWa actually fixed the issue with combing the map like it was some Spaceballs parody with the introduction of treasure zones in 2.0.
That's what happens when you are a CC and focus on just 1 game. When you try to review other games, your opinion will be biased towards the game you've always played
The thing I always want to argue is that gacha open world and console open world are fundamentally different. There's secrets and thrills to finding things in stuff like Horizon, BoTW, etc. So you're more encouraged to explore. The same can't be said for gacha games because what waits for you in nothing more than potentially a single roll. WuWa, to it's credit has made some interesting side missions in the world. But really I think it comes down to just being excited for the reward you get for your effort.
I think relics and echos both suck because they took different paths to have the same problem, which is being stamina gated and requiring time grinding. For relics, generally, you have to spend stamina to get them. You can see the stats, but you have to level them to see if the stats are allocated in a viable way, or if it's just a brick. You then spend time farming materials to level them. With echoes, you can spend time farming them, but you can only see the main stat. Then you have to spend stamina to get the resources to level them and see if they're viable. At the end of the day, you still have to spend time and stamina to actually see if either are useful, which is restrictive, and why it grates on people.
these days i really don't have unlimited time balancing work and i have 4 open world games and 6 gacha stand box games....loot mapping and skipping story while watching youtube of the story on second and third monitor is the way to go. for me that is... when map expansion and wuwa expansion. absolute pain i don't have infinite time to burn sadly...and the 400 primogems for 80% exploration fomo is strong. i used to 20%-30% the maps before natlan besides mondsdat and liyue it was when the game was knew and i did enjoy the game. now new maps i just skip chest and buy welkin to make up for the loss. also mimic chest i just assume all of them is a trap when i see it... it's been a while since i actually encountered a mimic...10+ years since i played Fate, not confusing with FGO....Fate by wild studios. the last time i saw a mimic it was eating frieren

I like it when the rover interact with the PNJ, the limited 5 stars not so much. Still their are people can't understand the premise/plot setting of Rover and WW. Rover is old like old he/she is a immoirtal, hence he is akin to a God etc, adding originally Kuro made Rover like a martyr where he/she was kinda not liked by everybody despite still saving the town, hence Kuro changed it by little bit (because of how negative the feedback), by not involving the whole town at the beginning aka in 1.0 not to comment much about Rover etc and simply focused on the important NPC's trying to determine whether Rover was the person they're trying to find, hence why we were running around with the puzzle both changli & jinhsi gave to us. (additionally info, originally CBT, Rover was immediately announced in the beginning after entering in the town, that the master or something has returned by some sort of AI? in the town which made the townsfolk, got all eyes on Rover and people were suspicious,wary and feared him/her). Only then after Rover defeated Therenodian with Jiyan that he was glaze hard, by the townsfolk, which of course that's going to be the obvious reaction etc going to be known,popular and respected, for saving the town. The only thing Rover really solve on his own was in 1.0-1.3 (which technically got helped by Abby) while 1.4 Camellya patch did it on his own all alone. 1.1 Merely helped, Jinhsi fought all alone with Jue 1.2 Rover merely helped with the evidence with Zhezhi and gave her confidence, and helped Yao with his problems, same for Jiyan & Yinlin story quest and 2.0. Rover is more like a therapist whatever, rather than what you're trying to describe him/her, adding as i said Rover is akin to a God, unlike Mavuika who is what? canonically a human? unlike others Archon?

Im an OG Genshin Player but i forced myself to love Genshin again, it never worked. Im burnt out on that game. WuWa is fresh and new to me and more challenging! Although some story are kinda okay, The world is Beautiful! The Characters are Gorgeous! As much as i love Lisa and Navia, Zani and Chang Li wins my heart. Your criticism might be valid but, some of it i dont agree. Genshin also has many flaws that still not yet been answered by the devs and its frustrating.
wuwa just need time in the oven for the story, I don't think the first 7 months of story in genshin got everyone immediately hooked, so that's a thing to expect in the future. Glad you're enjoying a fresh experience!

This was a pretty balance criticism video. I do agree, I want to do more with echoes in the main story. Especially since echoes in the Illusive Realm are so much fun to play as. It makes the base versions boring to transform into. Also, they as need to do better with the flow of transforming into echoes during fights because it can be jarring, ruin atks and make dodging messy depending on what echo you turn into.
35:00 Echo system should be reworked into: 1 Echo with an active and 1 main stat. This one simply needs to be leveled up, no sub stats. Get rid of Crit stats on these and let everything else roll here. 4 equipment slots (aka artifacts) with 2/4 and 4/4 sets with a maximum of 10 provision. These ones needs to be leveled and tuned. Add crit stats to both 3 and 4 provision echoes here.

5:45 I get what Cap is trying to argue for her here, however I think for the World of Wuwa with so many powerful beings it kinda doesn't work. WuWa doesn't have a bunch of random regular humans as playable characters so it makes sense to me that every Resonator can scale mountains in an instant.
Being able to use only one echo from the set feels bad, It's like all the work put in making their animations and skill is wasted, and it also takes away a lot of fun from the players that could utilize those unique 1 and 3 cost echo abilities to make gameplay more interesting and maybe a little bit less repetitive.
I always see the same criticism that the gearing needs to be rework or better but she didn’t even give an example of how to make it better. We can take a series like final fantasy that had many type of gear for the characters but at the end of the day majority of players will only use one or two type of gears. Even if wuwa introduce a new gear systems like epic 7 that give different bonus many player will still only use one set. We will just circle back to the same topic and nothing will change except now we have hundreds of useless gear that no one uses.
Rinascita exploration is as perfect as it can be, running around gets old fast and the flight is not infinite so you always going down and up, I hate the loot mapper in Jinzhou is buggy af, but how the did the chests on 2.0 where you track what is needed for 100% with the map tracker.
The thing about discovery and bosses on most of open world gacha games is each of them need to serve a purpose This is why a game like wuwa lack of boss variety given how big the map is and it make no sense for them to create am enemies with boss hp ui that doesnt give anything or same drop as normal enemies does, I'll take example like elden ring, it always cool to run around and accidently stumble upon a boss at the first time, its the same as red mobs on wuwa and they only serve as guaranteed echo drop and also achievement for defeating it for the first time The knight sword on 2.0 update is a good direction for a organic encounter to elite mobs I do hope that they add more variety to it each patches or even make multiple mini event like that in 1 patch to make the enviroment more alive

Dude I maxed out data bank in 5 days in total. 30-40 minutes per day max. People who say that just have no idea how easy it is in reality. All it takes is just 3 minutes of research tops! The game has pity system in echo farming part but how many people know about it?! It's friggin 3 minutes! 3 minutes of research! I know that most people want to just play the game without any deep diving in it and that's ok. You CAN play like that. There's no problem. But when you go on echo farming trip - you better read the damn instructions to it. Well, just in case, here's an EASY summary how to farm. 1. Boss echos have pity system in it. So if you want to get particular boss echo - just fight another boss echo. If the boss you don't want doesn't drop echo - your next boss will drop it 100% of a time. 2. Mob echo. Track guy who you DON'T want, unalive it, if they don't drop echo - switch to thing you want. It's THAT simple. I may sound toxic etc. that aggression is not pointed on you in particular. I'm just tired of people saying the thing is bad when it's actually easy and pleasant in comparison to artifact farming in Genshin.
I don't know why you guys keep saying the echo system is bad when in fact you literally can get tons of echoes, xps and tubes from events. The daily log-in is a casual thing. The exploration? 30 mins you can't?😂 We also have the shops if you are really casual. We do have regular rotating events for echoes, xps and tubes and many other materials. Why you keep a blind eye to these?😂 Try saving them for a month you will see how generous they are with materials and everything. Regardless of how bad your rng luck is you can't deny they are giving a lot more than what you're trying to claim. Well you can try to send feedback and ask for changes and more rewards. Tldr: materials don't matter if the RNG over RNG over another RNG is there to keep you away from having good echEOS..

I only use lootmapper when I'm pretty much done with exploration and believe I have found all chests, only using it to see if I missed any.

I belive she is really not the target audience, there's a big different between action fast phase combat to element reaction team (I chek her channel). Both have system rotation but it was implemented in the opposite way so its very understable how she still lacks information about combat
Same as endgame content, some people may like hollogram because it stimulates adrenaline for hardcore player's, some people may like TOA bcs it is suitable for players who optimize their rotation and gear (so they feel rewarding after clearing the mode), and some peoples prefer illusive realm bcs the mode its fun for player who just want to keep repeating the challenge without dependence on good echo or optimal rotation

The problem I have with genshin's climbing is that they copied from BOTW but didn't copy the stuff that made it convenient like the climbing gear to make it go faster or food buffs to increase stamina and make climbing go faster. They just copied it and left it there for 4 years with barely any innovation. Like ToTK the sequelt to BoTW came out and even they knew that climbing would get tiring for players if they did too much of it so they invented new ways for traversal while genshin on the other hand chose to do nothing with their mountains of monthly revenue. They gotta be one of the most incompetent lazy devs out there.
edit: ok I stand corrected genshin did add some things to make traversal better like grappling points and mushrooms. I guess I just did not like how they implemented it since there are still times where I am in an area with none of those mechanics and have to painfully slowly climb up it would have been so much better if they just straight up gave us a grappling hook without the need to pull for kimchi (green Natlan kid)
Some of what you've said isn't true.
Let me explain: there is a handful of food that decreases stamina consumption by 20% for climbing, spirinting, swimming, and gliding, which is applied to the whole party. I know because I checked it yesterday for a video I'm working on.
@@KallaTheYapper347 I see well I guess I just didn't see that since when genshin first started that food item didn't exist and since I don't keep up with food updates I never knew about it. My bad on that part. Still they should add more it's been 4 years the map only keeps getting bigger while traversal gets tiring. It even lessens my enjoyment of getting new characters sometimes because it feels like such a drag to go out and get the items to level them up.

I think the foods have been added in mass since the start of the game but since it's not something most players bother to think about especially when you've increased multiple statues to max which increases the stamina bar u don't really bother thinking of ways to reduce stamina consumption. That's valid. If they just tune up the base movement, speed climbing wouldn't be as much as a hassle.
However, it is important to note that Genshin's devs have implemented mechanics that reduce the need to climb in a fair amount of locations. Like in Inazuma, Sumeru, Chenyu Vale, and Natlan (currently).
My problem with her crticism is that she does not suggest any alternative solution even if on surface level

Exploration is tied to a person-by-person experience and having a limited stamina bar or a freely controlled stamina bar that does restrict the player by creating a system to make it difficult to travel isn’t a good system, especially in a game about Exploration players hated the limited stamina bar in breath of the wild and it has been one of the harshest critiques of that game and that's why people found a workaround to make Exploration more enjoyable but if it has to reach that point then it shouldn't have been added in the game, to begin with
I actually hard agree with her on teambuilding. All the teams I run are the exact same or limited versions of the teams everybody else is running, and builds don’t add much either. There is no targeting different substats or mainstats to meaningfully change the way a unit plays, it’s just how many of the good substats you can get.

Stamina only matters in Genshin if you don't have the correct units.
With Mavuika, Xilonen, Xianyun, Yelan etc. Your not even using your stamina bar and just zip around using skills.
I hate that I'm "locked" into those exploration units and cannot use the teams I want to in Genshin.
This is the worst thing with Genshin for me actually and that you can just use any units you want in over world as exploration mechanics are not locked behind units is very good.

What a take on the LM. Wanna be the best hardcore chest finder? Then don't use the loot mapper! Everyone doesn't have the time to the to be chronically online just to tediously find chests. The LM is there to make casual players have an easier time to find loot. Not everything should abide with someone's hardcore experience.

That's what happens when you are a CC and focus on just 1 game. When you try to review other games, your opinion will be biased towards the game you've always played
The thing I always want to argue is that gacha open world and console open world are fundamentally different. There's secrets and thrills to finding things in stuff like Horizon, BoTW, etc. So you're more encouraged to explore. The same can't be said for gacha games because what waits for you in nothing more than potentially a single roll. WuWa, to it's credit has made some interesting side missions in the world.
But really I think it comes down to just being excited for the reward you get for your effort.

I think relics and echos both suck because they took different paths to have the same problem, which is being stamina gated and requiring time grinding.
For relics, generally, you have to spend stamina to get them. You can see the stats, but you have to level them to see if the stats are allocated in a viable way, or if it's just a brick. You then spend time farming materials to level them.
With echoes, you can spend time farming them, but you can only see the main stat. Then you have to spend stamina to get the resources to level them and see if they're viable.
At the end of the day, you still have to spend time and stamina to actually see if either are useful, which is restrictive, and why it grates on people.

these days i really don't have unlimited time balancing work and i have 4 open world games and 6 gacha stand box games....loot mapping and skipping story while watching youtube of the story on second and third monitor is the way to go. for me that is... when map expansion and wuwa expansion. absolute pain i don't have infinite time to burn sadly...and the 400 primogems for 80% exploration fomo is strong. i used to 20%-30% the maps before natlan besides mondsdat and liyue it was when the game was knew and i did enjoy the game. now new maps i just skip chest and buy welkin to make up for the loss.
also mimic chest i just assume all of them is a trap when i see it...

I like it when the rover interact with the PNJ, the limited 5 stars not so much. Though in the case of Roccia, it was okay because she's underraged so they didn't dare pushing the glazing as much as they do with the adult 5 stars.

Rover is old like old he/she is a immoirtal, hence he is akin to a God etc, adding originally Kuro made Rover like a martyr where he/she was kinda not liked by everybody despite still saving the town, hence Kuro changed it by little bit (because of how negative the feedback), by not involving the whole town at the beginning aka in 1.0 not to comment much about Rover etc and simply focused on the important NPC's trying to determine whether Rover was the person they're trying to find, hence why we were running around with the puzzle both changli & jinhsi gave to us.
(additionally info, originally CBT, Rover was immediately announced in the beginning after entering in the town, that the master or something has returned by some sort of AI? in the town which made the townsfolk, got all eyes on Rover and people were suspicious,wary and feared him/her).
Only then after Rover defeated Therenodian with Jiyan that he was glaze hard, by the townsfolk, which of course that's going to be the obvious reaction etc going to be known,popular and respected, for saving the town.
The only thing Rover really solve on his own was in 1.0-1.3 (which technically got helped by Abby) while 1.4 Camellya patch did it on his own all alone.
1.1 Merely helped, Jinhsi fought all alone with Jue
1.2 Rover merely helped with the evidence with Zhezhi and gave her confidence, and helped Yao with his problems, same for Jiyan & Yinlin story quest and 2.0.
Rover is more like a therapist whatever, rather than what you're trying to describe him/her, adding as i said Rover is akin to a God, unlike Mavuika who is what? canonically a human? unlike others Archon?

Im an OG Genshin Player but i forced myself to love Genshin again, it never worked. Im burnt out on that game. WuWa is fresh and new to me and more challenging! Although some story are kinda okay, The world is Beautiful! The Characters are Gorgeous! As much as i love Lisa and Navia, Zani and Chang Li wins my heart. Your criticism might be valid but, some of it i dont agree. Genshin also has many flaws that still not yet been answered by the devs and its frustrating.
wuwa just need time in the oven for the story, I don't think the first 7 months of story in genshin got everyone immediately hooked, so that's a thing to expect in the future. Glad you're enjoying a fresh experience!

I do agree, I want to do more with echoes in the main story. Especially since echoes in the Illusive Realm are so much fun to play as. It makes the base versions boring to transform into.
Also, they as need to do better with the flow of transforming into echoes during fights because it can be jarring, ruin atks and make dodging messy depending on what echo you turn into.

5:45 I get what Cap is trying to argue for her here, however I think for the World of Wuwa with so many powerful beings it kinda doesn't work. WuWa doesn't have a bunch of random regular humans as playable characters so it makes sense to me that every Resonator can scale mountains in an instant.
Being able to use only one echo from the set feels bad, It's like all the work put in making their animations and skill is wasted, and it also takes away a lot of fun from the players that could utilize those unique 1 and 3 cost echo abilities to make gameplay more interesting and maybe a little bit less repetitive.
I always see the same criticism that the gearing needs to be rework or better but she didn’t even give an example of how to make it better. We can take a series like final fantasy that had many type of gear for the characters but at the end of the day majority of players will only use one or two type of gears. Even if wuwa introduce a new gear systems like epic 7 that give different bonus many player will still only use one set. We will just circle back to the same topic and nothing will change except now we have hundreds of useless gear that no one uses.

Rinascita exploration is as perfect as it can be, running around gets old fast and the flight is not infinite so you always going down and up, I hate the loot mapper in Jinzhou is buggy af, but how the did the chests on 2.0 where you track what is needed for 100% with the map tracker.
The thing about discovery and bosses on most of open world gacha games is each of them need to serve a purpose
This is why a game like wuwa lack of boss variety given how big the map is and it make no sense for them to create am enemies with boss hp ui that doesnt give anything or same drop as normal enemies does,
I'll take example like elden ring, it always cool to run around and accidently stumble upon a boss at the first time, its the same as red mobs on wuwa and they only serve as guaranteed echo drop and also achievement for defeating it for the first time
The knight sword on 2.0 update is a good direction for a organic encounter to elite mobs
I do hope that they add more variety to it each patches or even make multiple mini event like that in 1 patch to make the enviroment more alive

Wuwa's biggest issue is the ARTIFACT system..coz it only caters to game slaves that have no life outside gaming and are happy to farm echoes all day long..
Dude I maxed out data bank in 5 days in total. 30-40 minutes per day max. People who say that just have no idea how easy it is in reality. All it takes is just 3 minutes of research tops! The game has pity system in echo farming part but how many people know about it?! It's friggin 3 minutes! 3 minutes of research!
I know that most people want to just play the game without any deep diving in it and that's ok. You CAN play like that. There's no problem.
But when you go on echo farming trip - you better read the damn instructions to it.
Well, just in case, here's an EASY summary how to farm.
1. Boss echos have pity system in it. So if you want to get particular boss echo - just fight another boss echo. If the boss you don't want doesn't drop echo - your next boss will drop it 100% of a time.
2. Mob echo. Track guy who you DON'T want, unalive it, if they don't drop echo - switch to thing you want.
It's THAT simple. I may sound toxic etc. that aggression is not pointed on you in particular. I'm just tired of people saying the thing is bad when it's actually easy and pleasant in comparison to artifact farming in Genshin.
I don't know why you guys keep saying the echo system is bad when in fact you literally can get tons of echoes, xps and tubes from events. The daily log-in is a casual thing. The exploration? 30 mins you can't?😂 We also have the shops if you are really casual. We do have regular rotating events for echoes, xps and tubes and many other materials. Why you keep a blind eye to these?😂 Try saving them for a month you will see how generous they are with materials and everything. Regardless of how bad your rng luck is you can't deny they are giving a lot more than what you're trying to claim.
Well you can try to send feedback and ask for changes and more rewards. But don't say it's so bad when it's good and reasonable to begin with. With Kuro's track record there's a big chance they will please the likes of you. When change happens, who am I to dislike it. It means more, but for people who keep saying it's bad but don't put effort doing events, who don't manage resources. Hmmm I don't know what to say.😂

Like I farmed 2 weeks for echoes and 2months in the tacet fielda alone and ended up with ZERO usable echoes for my Camellya, Yinlin, Carlotta and Roccia.
Tldr: materials don't matter if the RNG over RNG over another RNG is there to keep you away from having good echEOS..
@@andynow-uu1mr they give you a lot of options to get echoes. If you are casual then stick with the daily. Do some events. At the end of the day, these are options.
