You keep saying you’re coming to the end of deftones, but you’re probably only midway, if that. Great reviews though.
Stephen Ames True, but I think he plans to do full length album listens on live stream also, so he’ll get to it all but just not react to every song
You should go through all of their discography (even if no one requests a specific song) we would be entertained with any song you chose from the cus it’s Deftones! Only saying that cuz you keeping say you’re nearing the end of Deftones reactions
Deftones - Combat, Lucky You, Battle-Axe, Diamond Eyes, Bored.
Deftones - entombed
Deftones - phantom bride
Deftones - battle - axe
one of these is already recorded
*_"I think it's E - C - G"_*
Jesus man....you have a good ear. You did the same things during the Pink Maggot reaction.
Do you have perfect pitch? Because that's not easy to do....even for highly talented musicians. It's a skill all it's own...
haha thx. just self taught and have played by ear all my life (good thing i have one that works 😂😂) i can't do every single individual note in a solo at full speed but basic melodies, chords, rhythm section i can pick up pretty quick, there are only so many arrangements i guess lol
Deathblow & Combat
Damone
Bro love what your doing, just subbed 👍.
Appreciate it!
*Type O Negative*
"Dai" was their late bass player's middle name. Apparently the song was called "Before The Flu" when they wrote it but perhaps because the bassline was so impressive they changed the name.
*No Ordinary Love*
Dai The Flu man?!?!?! Congratulations!!! I love this song!!!
They evolved a lot in this album, here's where they differentiate definitely their sound from other bands, they polished their own style and ways
You should check out Lotion from this album, even if you don't record the reaction, is amazing
Lhabia Risk Combat Deathblow Damone Lovers Poltergeist
Songs reacted to per album: Adrenaline-3, ATF-5, White Pony-all, Deftones-6, SNW-7, Diamond Eyes-6, KNY-5, Gore-1. Gore/Hearts-Wires are pretty lonely right now. And you liked that song.
He should do Acid Hologram followed by Doomed User, two in one
@@fharidvalencia2068 I would be fine w/ Doomed User. Appreciate Prayers/Triangles, Hearts/Wires, and Phantom Bride the most of songs I've heard from that album. I've heard some affinity for Acid Hologram and Geometric Headdress, but those just sound like a lot of racket to me. They were very experimental on that album, and some really worked, while others fell flat, imo.
@@bernman23 since the first time I found Acid Hologram to be the most accesible song on this album (although my fav is (L)MIRL) and the more I listened to Acid I found more fun discovering the growth in it compared to older work, then the transition with Doomed User and the holy heaviness of it amused me, loved the whole album though
Why is there furries in the thumbnail
lmao im so confused
If you haven’t heard a lot from System of a Down, Nine inch Nails, & Smashing Pumpkins, you definitely should react to some of their songs!
Love the Deftones and Tool and I'd love to see reactions to all their songs but as you're asking for other bands heres a Tool/Deftones contemporary that doesn't get the same attention: Quicksand - Fazer.
Quicksand is a good suggestion also seeing they share a bass player with Deftones in Sergio Vega. Big influence on the band early on too, I believe they even modeled the production sound on "Adrenaline" to mirror what QS did on "Slip".
These would be my recommendations
Omission
Dine Alone
Fazer
Lie And Wait
Thorn In My Side
Landmine Spring
Delusional
Brown Gargantiuan
Cosmonauts
Warm and Low
Fire This Time
I look forward to a new one to these every day.
Klone - Immersion
Oh, you like 1997, do ya, Yes yes, like our music, we will always be the most awesome.
Katatonia - My Twin
