I was watching news coverage on 9/11when it was interrupted by a service at a local church. At one point the congregation was led in singing this. It is one part of that horrible day that I am thankful for.
How did I miss this until now? Oh! Yes, God is my refuge and my 96 year old Mom who grew up in Spring Grove, MN. THANK YOU as this ministers to her as she is struggling to see, but still loves Jesus 😌
In 1980 they sang this song at the funeral of a 9 year old friend of my son who died in a freak accident while playing baseball. Since that day, it doesn't matter where I am, what I am doing, when I hear it I absolutely sob my heart out. We also had it sung at the funeral of both my parents. You did it beautifully and now I must go clean the snot off of my face, thank you very much.
Amazing! We played this at my mother’s virtual funeral yesterday. Everyone was touched by the beautiful voice of Mollie! Thank you! You helped make her funeral more beautiful!
My brother-in-laws nephew was a paramedic, an Air Angel who's helicopter crashed while taking a baby to the hospital and placed his body over hers unfortunately they all died. this is his song! Thank you for singing it to him! He is an angel!
Just so wonderful! No Instruments that You and Company. It does not come better in Australia! Wish You all the best but the n ! !it was Your Voice alone and all the Trumpets stood still!
Very nice. Important to include all verses! Protected my Soldiers and I in defense of the nation. Pray the chaplet to the mightiest of all angels. Seripham and commander of the heavenly hosts . Who is like God?
I love this song!!! I think I remember it from a Maranatha Singers LP Vinyl record. you made me feel wonderful today. Your voice is amazing as is your other talents. Thank you again for this!!! your newest fan.....Les
That was so awesome! So beautiful!☺☺ Ron Cabell Massachusetts, This was the very first Mollie and Ted video I saw here on RUclips, about 2 months ago. This video appeared in my Video Feed after I finished watching a worship video.
Mollie and Ted, Incredibly beautiful and inspiring. The choreography, the video, the audio, Mollie's singing, and Ted's instrumental performance are all superb. Deserves to go viral. Thanks for what you are doing. Hope to see you live again on another cruise or in Fontana. ...Andy
Good song choice, Mollie. I know Michael Joncas. He calls it the Yoo Hoo song. He has written a ton of great songs, but this one was at the top. Also, appropriate words for this trying time we're all going through. Stay pathogen-free, guys. Bob
Was looking for an arrangement in Eb; didn't like any of the ones in D, but enjoyed this one despite it not being Eb. The key-change to B wasn't as bad I was starting to think it was. Nice arrangement.
That was a beautiful song, I have not heard it before. Thank you Mollie and Ted. I was wondering if you know a polka song called, "The John Deere Polka". I am partial to John Deere tractors so it would be great to hear your version.
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord Who abide in His shadow for life Say to the Lord, "My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!" And He will raise you up on eagles' wings Bear you on the breath of dawn Make you to shine like the sun And hold you in the palm of His hand The snare of the fowler will never capture you And famine will bring you no fear Under His wings your refuge, His faithfulness your shield And He will raise you up on eagles' wings Bear you on the breath of dawn Make you to shine like the sun And hold you in the palm of His hand You need not fear the terror of the night Nor the arrow that flies by day Though thousands fall about you, near you it shall not come And He will raise you up on eagles' wings Bear you on the breath of dawn Make you to shine like the sun And hold you in the palm of His hand For to His angels He's given a command To guard you in all of your ways Upon their hands they will bear you up Lest you dash your foot against a stone And He will raise you up on eagles' wings Bear you on the breath of dawn Make you to shine like the sun And hold you in the palm of His hand And hold you, hold you in the palm of His hand Songwriters: Michael Joncas. You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord

Say to the Lord, "My refuge, my rock in whom I trust!"
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun

Under His wings your refuge, His faithfulness your shield

You need not fear the terror of the night
Nor the arrow that flies by day
Though thousands fall about you, near you it shall not come
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
For to His angels He's given a command
To guard you in all of your ways
Upon their hands they will bear you up
Lest you dash your foot against a stone
And He will raise you up on eagles' wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
And hold you, hold you in the palm of His hand
