Orr details the grassroots organizing campaign that forced BC Post-Secondary Education minister Selina Robinson out of cabinet after she called Palestine before European colonization "crappy" and intervened to have a pro-Palestinian professor fired at a Vancouver College.
The grassroot organizations took the correct action. There are consequences for any hatred. Good reporting on this issue. Clear and concise. Thank you!

I used to live in Canada. The people were thoughtful and progressive. Hard to believe that minister was representing Canada.
The government do not represent the people of canada. The government is as corrupt as the U.S. and UK. They don’t work for the people. And they’re liars and incompetent, like US and UK leaders.
Our PM is too busy dressing up and inventing words like “peoplekind” to do his actual job. He’s a virtue signaller. Useless. He’s not a patch on his father as a leader. Pierre Éliotte would never have allowed Canada to be lapdog to US and UK like this.

The conflict arose in the 1900’s when European anti-Semitism gave birth to a Zionist Movement seeking a Jewish homeland in predominantly Muslim Palestine. Arab hostility towards waves of European colonists with ambitious territorial designs was inevitable. Palestinians were asked not only to renounce their homeland, but also to grant legitimacy to its usurpers. The majority now accepted a two-state compromise. Intoxicated with power, with money and arms from US - America armed Israel chose occupation, apartheid, and now, genocide.
The Palestinians were offered a two state solution 6 times, and the palestinians rejected it every time. The turmoil in the middle east is the fault of the palestinians, not the jews🙄

Canada went from being known for peacekeeping to being credibly charged by Nicaragua with providing aid and munitions for a probable genocide that had already been adjudicated in the world court.

She's a sitting MPP - it should not be the governments' role to remove her from the legislature - that's the electorate's role. The seat is sacrosanct, the people's choice - not any one government - but perhaps the entire house ... ?

What surprised me was that Canada is a respected country on anthropology and archaeology and I would have expected a person of your calibre would've had knowledge about the #FertileCrescent, "The cradle of civilisation" of which Palestine was part of. #PalestinianRacism.
Even if there was no economy who was UK to give their land to israel or anyone else. It wasn't their to give.
Even if there were a small population of people, again, who were anyone to take away Palestinian land to give away without permission from Palestinians to anyone let alone ISRAELIS.
HISTORY PROVES that their was a huge Palestinian population & a vibrant economy in Palestine at the time UK with NO RIGHT to give away Palestinian land did so CAUSING this 76years of atrocity to the Palestinians & is ongoing in 2024.

I have not seen any condemnation from Muslims for the acts that Hummus committed against women and girls, minors. Nor have I seen any condemnation from their Plastilin supporters, who actually call themselves Hummus, and for whom Hummus is carrying out their work. They themselves write this in the comments on millions of videos.
