what an excellent video, thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great project! I am a fan of food and history, including that of Mesopotamia. So I eagerly anticipate the book. I am sure you know this already, but I've noticed with a number of cultures many of their culinary traditions are some of the most enduring aspects of the culture, so I'd wager much of ancient Mesopotamian food has carried over to modern Iraq, which is a fascinating thought to me. At any rate, I wish you success in your endeavors, and again look forward to the book!
Thank you for your comment. Full of insights and encouragement :)
A great video! I was amazed by the variety of food elements but it's obvious that societies as complex as Sumer and Akkad and Babylonia would have a highly diverse cuisine. Thank you for the work you're doing!
I will cover Mesopotamian cuisine even more deeply in other episodes and dive into how food differentiated between the south and north, and also what influences were brought from the Indus valley, and how food culture was developed over several millennia. Thank you for watching!
Nice video and detailed information 👍

YOU MEAN NEW IRAQ AFTER 1920 When Britain erased our Assyrian name from the country ( occupied Assyria) to settle the Arab muslims in our occupied Assyrian country . We have all the documents .THERE IS NO SUCH NAME IRAQ MENTIONED IN ANY TABLET OR ANTIQUITIES OK
