Good video. Id recommend turning the volume down on the background music. It was a tiny bit challenging to clearly hear what you were saying over the guitar solo that played almost the entire time.

Advertising is advertising, but I will share my personal experience. I don't know about Salomon Forces, but Lowa TF (I have Lowa Z-6n GTX and Lowa Zephyr Mid GTX TF) is very slippery on surfaces like metal, wet metal, tiles, wet or winter concrete, wet rocks and ice. At the same time, the Prabos Phantom showed better grip in the city on surfaces such as metal, wet metal, tiles, wet or winter concrete, wet stones and ice, there is also an anti-puncture layer inside.
Also, the model has a minimum number of seams, which has a positive effect on strength. Of the minuses, in my opinion, I can note less amortization, which can be compensated by special insoles. I would recommend adding the Prabos range to your store - it's a pretty interesting company. Most importantly, they manufacture footwear in the Czech Republic, not China, Vietnam, etc. The quality of workmanship is excellent. Personally, I noticed the best quality in shoes made in Germany, Italy, the USA and the Czech Republic. It is produced, and not in the country of the brand. Shoes from China, Vietnam and even from Romania(some models of Haix) and Slovakia(Lowa Zephyr), which were either poorly glued or had a worse quality of seams and fell apart faster. Just facts.
I am ready to overpay for shoes made in Europe or the USA and be confident in the quality and durability, as opposed to reducing the cost of production and moving factories to China, Vietnam, etc.

Clearly you advertise them, so here is my experience:
The Salomons 4D Forces are among my favourite boots, but... I have returned 2 pairs of Mk1 in 3 years with major sole defects and GTX failure. I am now on my 3rd pair, the Mk2 let's say, and I nootice that also in this 2nd version the sole is not as good as it should be. To fair, Salomon replaced the boots 2 times without a problem because of their 2 yr warranty, so that is nice. But it is a big flaw on these boots. And ok, I use these boots hard, but that is why I have the Forces version and not the Tourist as you call them. So for the harder jobs I always use my military Meindl Island Pro MFS boots, indestructable and reliable.
The Z6N I find is way lighter that Salomon and not as cushioned, the Salomon truly has a sneaker feeling to it.

@@Militaryshoplv yes I have. The mid gtx version. I think they miss the cushioning of the Salomon or even their brand family member the Lowa Renegade. It's a tough shoe, but not as comfy as others out there.

I’ve given up on salomons.... still the comfiest boot out the box but i was burning through at least 2 pairs a year . They are not what they used to be on the quality front. I’m lowa all theway now... non goretex zephyr for hot dry sandy shite holes and z-8s for normal use both with sorbothane insoles. I’m getting 2 years out the lowas ..... but as you said about meindl i have some that must be 10yrs old and still going strong.

@@Dan-wo4bx totally agree. I now have three pairs of Meindl and they rock. Indestructible boots and if the sole wears out I get them resoled.
Also looking at a pair of Lundhags shell boots at the moment.

From another comment I've seen, supposedly the quest 4d forces have a more durable 1000D cordura fabric vs the regular quest 4.

Useless video, basically just a Solomon promotional video. Doesn't really do any analysis or comparison between the two boots. He just says that they are the same. Also, the music is too loud - I had to use closed captions.

BUYER BEWARE: I never review but have been looking for a tactical boot for a long time now. Out in the country we cant just go to the store to try them on so I have to purchase online and send back non-stop.
This Salomon Quest 4GTX forces boot "DOES NOT FEEL RIGHT AND IS VERY UNCOMFORTABEL" on the inside, inner sidewall/side arches. The OUTER PIECE USED FOR FAST ROPE is nice HOWEVER you can definitely feel the bulky stitching on the inside of the boot footbed side arch area and it feels terribly very uncomfortable.
Does anyone have this same problem?? I literally purchased 5 pairs but kept sending them back thinking the were defective. I thought it was the individual pair but it was all of them. The fast rope piece travels down and is stitched inside and it can 100% be felt on the inner part of the boot where the lumpy stitching on the side meets the footbed/arch area. Definitely feel it like a lump/bump inside the inner wall arch area. I am literally sending this 5 pair back for a refunds this week because none feel right and they all feel like your walking on a lump under the insole.
Anyone feel the same thing or have this issue? If so what boot did you guys go with?
PS: I never write reviews but have been soooo fed up trying to find a pair. Arcteryx is great but their boots are to narrow and your heel sits too high,. Salomons feel like they have a lump under the insole. Danner, in a hiking low to mid boot, ONLY HAS BROWN not balck. Ect Ect..
