Adam Neumann has been trying to buy WeWork - the company he cofounded out of bankruptcy - allegedly with the help of the hedge fund manager Dan Loeb of Third Point.
Neumann’s new real estate company "Flow" has sent a letter to WeWork requesting that they consider its takeover approach. Flow has already raised $350 million from the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, disclosed in the letter that Loeb’s Third Point would help finance a transaction.
The Financial Times contacted Third Point to verify their involvement in the deal and were told that the fund had only held “preliminary conversations with Flow and Adam Neumann about his ideas for WeWork.” They went on to say that they have made “no commitment to participate in any transaction.”

The smaller the tolerances, the bigger the price. It didn't have any plastic inside or gaskets. They didn't need gaskets. The guy that dismantled it wondered if they were making any money on the machines and claimed that they were losing money on the machines themselves. Any engineer shall tell you that there was no need for such expensive components and that cheaper components would have done the job just as well and would have been just as reliable.

I’ll give you a minute to grasp what a genius idea this is. Water in the cloud can be moved anywhere for JIT delivery. It can be registered on a block chain or represented as an NFT and used as both a unique investment vehicle (no two water molecules are exactly alike) or as a liquid asset.
Furthermore, if you know anything about homeopathy, you know that dilution generates value in the form of special healing properties. Do you know what nobody has done? Homeopathic water. Imagine if you could dilute water to a ratio of one or two parts per million. Do you get it yet? This is a license to print water and it’s 0000000.1% legal. Plus the water cures cancer.

I am as baffled by the world of finance as I am by nuclear physics, but I enjoy your videos primarily due to the dry humor you employ as you analyze some of the more loony aspects of modern "high-tech" finance and investment. Some of the schemes you disassemble with plain language are so transparently absurd that even I would be able to detect the fraud hiding behind the word salad of the pitch. I love language the most when it is poetically beautiful, but I also love it when clear language is employed in the effort to penetrate and destroy nonsense. Thank you for your entertaining content.
