God is infinite we are finite. God is both transcendent and immanent. God makes themself known to us finite beings in a way we can perceive. As we change and grow/learn we may perceive more. God is not subject to any particular or singular form. Form obeys his will and will always be in accord with his chosen image.

    From the Tanakh: Jeremiah 23:5-6:
Speaking of Messiah (and His divinity):
“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,
    “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch;
And He will reign as king and act wisely
And do justice and righteousness in the land.
“In His days Judah will be saved,
    And Israel will dwell securely;
And this is His name by which He will be called,
    ‘The Lord our righteousness.’"
    Key points:
    1) raised up by God from David's line.
    2) reigning as king.
    3) salvation and peace.
    4) called by the name "the Lord our Righteousness." (YHWH ṣiḏ·qê·nū)

@Abraham Mani so because a book says so is what you're following? Please understand there's thousands of gods to be known throughout history nine times out of 10 they were found to just be humans who wanted to use the godly role in order to have power and control now if you look at that today you will clearly see it stems from that and the things that are mentioned in the Bible are things that were already mentioned in other storylines with other godlike entities but no one can prove one of the other... And if you can't prove it why would you be able to believe it without falsifying your own perception in order for it to fit the narrative in which your expecting your eternal life to be like under the Christian or Jewish laws .... But when you look at other religious cultures and they have differences only people with higher religious beliefs are the ones who deny whose other god it's not greater than theirs.... And this is why wars famine pestilence as well as just a true hatred for another who believes in something differently you can no longer be associated with because their God is not yours so how do we have a clean environment purified with these beliefs that no one can prove yet still will die for no matter the causes.... If there was no religion no one would have as much of discontent with another person thereby taking away all bigotry as well as inflammatory words that consistently bring out the bad roots from their religious cultures...

Thats because you are an Unitarian Christian. 99% of debates are involving Trinatrian Christians so Muslims will debate likewise. Depending on your definition "Jesus is God's ONLY "begotten" Son" what you should be doing is to convince your fellow Christians instead and make them "acknowledge" instead. We dont have to acknowledge that Jesus was not a God cause Muslims dont have that problem.

Two reasons I can give. Christians are in idolatry, and God promised that he will give delusion and confusion to those who disobey so that they will believe any crap. Or, maybe it's like Moses. Moses was like Elohim (Exodus 7:1). Man was made in the image of God, and one extreme interpretation of that idea would allow some men or one man to be able to EXACTLY resemble/represent God, thus being God to others who aren't as close to God. Also, Lev 26:12 "I will walk among you and be your God". Christians apply this verse to Jesus who walked among them. And is their God.

Jesus Contradicts the Prophet Ezekiel on the Resurrection
We are all familiar with the story about the seven brothers who each in turn marry the same woman. The question is “In the resurrection therefore, which one's wife will she be? For all seven had married her." [Luke 20:33]
And Jesus answered “"The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.”” [Luke 20:34-36]
Jesus’ answer contradicts the prophecy concerning the resurrection which is in chapter 37 of Ezekiel.
“”neither marry nor are given in marriage””
The Prophet Ezekiel received his prophecy from God, [Ezekiel 1:3] and his description of the resurrection of the dead [Ezekiel chapter 37] is the most detailed in the entire Bible, IMO. Read it if you have not read it before.
“”Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people”” [verse 12]
“”"My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them.”” [Verse 24]
““They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons' sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever.”” [Verse 25]
“”their sons and their sons' sons”” doesn’t this suggest that men and women will be married, and marry and have children? Doesn’t Jesus’ comment in Luke 20 contradict this?
“”I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever.””[Verse 26]
“”multiply them”” Of course they will be married and marry in the resurrection. It says that God will multiply them.
Jesus wasn’t even smart enough to avoid contradicting Ezekiel.
    How can Jesus be God?

I was born into a Mormon family, left that religion when I was 16, and 20 yrs later got into Protestantism. Now 10 yrs later, after MUCH study of both the Tanak and New Testament, I'm able to easily recognize the cultic deceit of twisting-of-scripture and total fabrications. It's been 4 days since I made the decision to leave Christianity and I feel so dirty and gross. I need a Hashem bath really bad. I can't do Noahide. I just can't. I've been searching for truth for over 30 yrs and I have found it in the perfect Law of Hashem. He said over and over and over, "If you obey my voice,"........"if you do what I have commanded it will be well with you".......and that word "forever." How do you mistranslate or misunderstand "forever?" I'm stumped at how deep the conditioning is in this type of mind control as well as how people fall for stuff without searching things out. I'm thankful that Hashem answered my prayers when I asked for wisdom & discernment without measure for the last 2 months. Praise our Almighty Creator!

Kitty Kat Jeshua was the messiah, NOT YHVH in the flesh. He was the son of MAN, last MAN Adam. His parents were Mary and Joseph of the house of David. Jeshua told us that a false Christ would come claiming to be YHVH standing in the temple where he ought not. This is the false image set up by the Rome Catholic church (the harlot) that Daniel also warned about. I'm sorry you completely left the truth and turned ur back on the messiah. Its Not his fault that he was misrepresented by evil men.

I remember being visited by both The Church of Latter Day Saints and The Jehovahs witnesses in my back yard at different times when i was watering the garden. They both said the same thing when I mentioned the visits of the other. lol. Went like this. Satan often sends those to confuse and lie . LOL. GET MY POINT? They are suffering under the same poop. And dont you find it strange that when you express your wounded state as you start your climb toward understanding they come in and try to exploit that vulnerability? Sin is what makes us feel bad not turning from a false faith. And when your support system has been a particular church and you stop its going to be tough as you adjust. Plus it doesnt help when you feel your being judged quietly or loudly by those you spent time with in the church. But you will ADJUST and become a stronger person for it. But what Im really saying is if someone acts like an idiot ,in a way its not going to matter if they are Mormon or Jew. Continue to learn just the same and continue to battle with your (evil inclination) that messes with all of us. Be strong and of good courage. Walk with Rabbi Singer a bit longer. All the best. True Christians believe that Jesus is the messiah the son of God not god the son,
Jesus never claimed to be God, he subjected himself to God in heaven by calling God "My God" 4 times and we know that God does not have a God.
1st Cor 15:24-28 says that Jesus hands back the Kingdom and subjects himself to his God and Father. God is not subject to anyone see 1st Cor 15:27

jazzbassf fenderjazz i don't believe in the trinity. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus is Lord and Christ. Jesus's Father is God. The New Testament is clear about this.
Joh 8:54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
Jesus clearly said that his Father is whom the Jews say is their God. That is YHWH.

Jeff Krueger excellent reasoning on the scriptures my friend, Jesus is the son of God and never said he was the almighty.
1st cor 15:14-28 shows that Jesus after the millennium subjects himself to his God and father for all eternity, so only God the father is almight and God .

I hear trinitarians quote John 1 and try to tell me: "See Jesus is the word and the word is God and see Jesus created the world." I try to explain it to them. The word is simply the spoken word of YHWH. This spoken word of God that contains God's purpose and intention became flesh in the man Jesus for Jesus spoke the words of God. Trinitarians are so difficult to talk to. Even when I show them what John wrote about Jesus:
Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
John never directly call Jesus God. I just don't ever see that as much as trinitarians twist, I just don't see it.

Yet I can show them true titles like "Son of God" and they absurdly say it means the same thing .I ask them if God the Father is the same as the "Father of God" which is what theyre saying when you analize it with their own absurd reasoning !
The problem with trjnis is that they like fanciful stories to have their ears tickled and not have to accept responsibility for
John 17:3 "This means everlasting life their knowing you the only true God and the one you sent Jesus Christ"
if you're a true Christian then you have to accept Jesus own testimony which they deny . Sad indeed my friend Jeff..... Blessings my friend

Jeff Krueger John 1:1 is a biased trinitarian delusion....I can show them 70 different bible translations that says the word was a god or divine......and John 1:1 doesn't show a trinity it shows two Gods and that would be polytheism.

It is clear in John 8:57,58 that Jesus declared Himself to be Yahweh, i.e., the Lord of the OT. Basic to the expression are such passages as Ex 3:14; Dt 32:39; Is 41:4; Is 43:10 where God declared Himself to be the eternally pre-existent God who revealed Himself in the OT to the Jews. Jn 8:57,58 “You are not yet fifty years old," the Jews said to him, "and you have seen Abraham!" “I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

And yet people have seen God and lived. Moses spoke with God and even saw his back. God appeared in a cloud to the Israelites. God appeared to Abraham and spoke with him. None of those people died from it. So why does God say no one can see God and live? What does that mean? Think about that for a moment.

Jared Berryman it has always been Jehovah through angels that appeared to men. Acts 7:30,38

Then I guess I will continue to 'cherry pick' a little bit (you didn't do that at all right?). What John is actually referring to is a verse in the OT that says no one can see God's face and live. God puts Moses in a cleft of a rock and passes by him, so that Moses sees his true form but from behind. Furthermore, God appears in many different ways. There is no indication of scripture that every time God appeared, it was an angel. God fills the temple through his literal presence in the form of smoke. God appears to the prophets directly in dreams and visions. So God changes his form several times in the Old Testament. He speaks with Abraham (there is nothing indicating it is an angel). He appears to Abraham as a smoking pot and firebrand and makes a covenant with him. My point is, that God can appear in different forms. Is there some reason to believe that when God does this that he is not simultaneously on his throne in heaven? The text seems to indicate that the one God is capable of taking on different forms and being in two places at once. In Genesis, the spirit of God hovers over the waters, while God speaks creation into being.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that if you don't believe that Jesus is God that you would go to hell. It is a man-made creed(Athanasian Creed)which states that. The only way a person can be saved is by confessing and believing Romans 10: 9,10. ( That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.). If believing in the divinity of Christ was required to be saved, then NOBODY in the first Century Church would have been saved. The doctrine of the Trinity was not even established in the Church until the Fourth Century AD. When we allow man-made doctrines or creeds to determine whether a person is saved or not , then those doctrines or creeds become more important than the Word of God and completely undermine the Word of God and also everything Christ died for. Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word if truth II Timothy 2:15. We should be willing to do extensive biblical research and find out what is really accurate in God's Word.

@ 20:31, This is the opposite of what you're saying, Rabbi. The scriptures did not tell us that Jesus was like a model looking.
In fact in Isaiah 53 and John 8:15 explained that Jesus was never good looking. . In John 8:15, Jesus was pleading to the Jews not to judge by appearance.
God's intention to come into the world and became flesh is to have a blood atonement for all of us. Because the guidelines that God gave to Moses were never followed perfectly. For example an animal blood sacrifice. The Jews do not have a temple now to perform this task by God's exact commands.
The scriptures say that Jesus performed all of these commandments perfectly to be a perfect lamb and offered up His life for all of us- sinners. And His blood act as the blood of atonement only if you believe in Him by faith - even if that is simple, Christians do fall and backside because we're living in a fallen world.

The way our grandparents and parents understood and showed love was based on Christianity. Family life, traditions, holidays, home decor, the baseline storyline of movies, poetry, phobias, superstitions, beliefs, commonality, all based on Christianity. Early on, youre taught to only see the love part of Christianity. And youre taught that to wonder or question or doubt is the biggest slap in the face to the deity that loved you so much he died for you and you live your whole life under that guilt. You just always feel guilty. Like a poor person who's always in debt and never have the money to repay. Its abusive and keeps you subservient.

Radical Monotheism exactly like the Jewish Prophets / Jews to believe in a uniquely ONE GOD - without any partners or equals or like a three in one coffee the abomination of the Trinity - plus believing in the Messiah Jesus the Prophet sent by God, and the essential consistency with his doctrine - the Muslim.
The very words that the Father - THE ONLY TRUE GOD - COMMANDED Jesus Christ to say. The doctrine of THE ONLY TRUE GOD that HE COMMANDED Jesus Christ to give.
The testimony of Jesus Christ on the Father:
      - The Only True God (John 17:3)
      - The Only One Who Knows The Hour (Mark 13:32)
      - Greater than I (John 14:28)
      - Greater than all (John 10:29)
      - My God and Your God (John 20:17)
The doctrine of Jesus Christ =
      The doctrine of a Muslim.
(Of course the term Father in the Jewish context. A figure of speech for their times. NOT that God has a literal Son. God has got Son by the Ton in the Bible.)
Defenders of the true honor and status of Jesus Christ
      VERSUS
Christianity more like the Greek and Roman doctrines and the pagan doctrines like "God" coming down in human form and human / blood sacrifice that pagans had going hand in hand with Paul's doctrines of easy salvation with blood of an innocent, making the Merciful God in to a blood thirsty vampire.
2000 years ago, the Roman and Greek Empire with its culture and mythological and pagan roots already held the beliefs such as "God coming down in human form". So after witnessing just a single "miracle" from Paul the deceiver they were conforming to their already held beliefs. No wonder when they heard of this guy Jesus with all the stories of his miracles, it was very easy for them to take him as "Son of God" (and this concept later on developed in to taking him as God) as this already went hand in hand with their pagan and mythological belief system. Little wonder that those times and those places and people also had "Triads" and ancient "Trinities" and "God" in threes and stuff.
      Acts 14:11
When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, "THE GODS HAVE COME DOWN to us IN HUMAN FORM!"
      ********
Then of course the abomination of the alleged blood "sacrifice" of Jesus Christ making the Most Merciful in to some blood thirsty vampire. Going against the very teachings of the true Prophets and that includes Jesus Christ.
      ********
Unfortunately, it was the Pauline Christianity and Pauline doctrines, blended with pagan doctrine and backed up by the powerful Roman Empire that eventually won out over the years and wiped out the Jewish Christianity of radical monotheism. Rome didn't convert to "Christianity", "Christianity" converted to Rome.

    John 8:53-59:
"Surely You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?” Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God’; and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.” Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple."

You are silly. Hebrews 7 clearly states who HE is?
      Orthodox Jewish Bible
Yehudim in Moshiach 7: For this MALKITZEDEK MELECH SHALEM KOHEN L’EL ELYON, the one "having met Avraham Avinu ACHAREI SHUVO ("after returning") from the slaughter of "the kings and having blessed him", BERESHIS 14:17-20)
2 With whom also "AVRAHAM avinu apportioned MA’ASER MIKOL (a tithe of everything." As for his Name, it is rendered "King of Tzedek (Righteousness)" and then also "Melech of SHALOM."
3 Without Av, without Em, without Yichus, having neither a techillah (beginning) leyamim (to days) of him nor a Ketz HaChayyim, but resembling HaBen HaElohim, he remains a “kohen perpetually,” (Ps 110:4).
4 Now consider how great among the Gedolim this one was to whom also Avraham Avinu gave from his booty a ma’aser (tithe).
5 And the ones of the Bnei Levi have received the Kehunah (Priesthood) and they have a mitzvah to collect the ma’aser (tithe) from the Am Brit, and they have this mitzvah according to the Torah, that is, to collect from their achim, though these also are descended from the loins of Avraham Avinu.
6 But, this man, though not tracing his descent from them, has received ma’aser (tithe) from Avraham Avinu and has given a bracha to the one having the havtachot (promises).
7 Now it is beyond all argument that the greater gives a bracha to the lesser.
8 Notice, in one case, ma’aser are received by mortal men; in the other case, ma’aser are received by one of whom we have solemn eidus (testimony) that hu Chai ("he lives!").
9 One could even go so far as to say that even Levi, who receives ma’aser, has paid ma’aser through Avraham Avinu,
10 For Levi was still in the loins of his ancestor Avraham when Malki-Tzedek met Avraham Avinu.
11 Now if shleimut (completeness) had been attainable through the Kehunah of Levi‖for under it came the Mattan Torah (giving of the Torah) to the Am Brit‖what further need would there have been to speak of another KOHEN arising "according to the order of Malki-Tzedek" TEHILLIM 110:4) rather than "al divrati Aharon"?
12 For when there is a "changing of the guard" of the Kehunah (Priesthood), this behechrach (necessarily) also affects the Torah [Isa 42:4].
13 For the One about whom these things are said belonged to a different shevet (tribe), from which no one has officiated at the Mizbe’ach.
14 For it is ugeret (easily seen, evident) that Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Adoneinu was descended from Yehudah, and in connection with that shevet (tribe), Moshe Rabbeinu said nothing about kohanim.
15 And it is even more evident if another Kohen arises resembling Malki-Tzedek,
16 One who became a kohen, not by means of a mitzvat haTorah concerning yichus (lineage), but according to the gevurah of a Chayyei Ein Sof (Endless Life).
17 For of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach comes the solemn eidus, "ATAH KOHEN L’OLAM AL DIVRATI MALKI TZEDEK" ("You are a kohen forever according to the order of Malki Tzedek" TEHILLIM 110:4).
18 For, on the one hand, there is an abrogation of an earlier mitzvah because of its weakness and ineffectuality
19 -For the Torah brought nothing to shleimut (perfection); on the other hand, there is the mavo (introduction) of a tikvah tovah yoter (a better hope) through which we draw near to Hashem-
      20 This was attested with a shevu’ah (oath); for others who became kohanim were installed in the office of kehunah without a shevu’ah;
21 But the Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach became a kohen with a shevu’ah (oath) through the One saying to Him, "Hashem has made an oath and will not change his mind, You are a kohen forever" [TEHILLIM 110:4].
22 According to such a shevu’ah of Hashem, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua has become the arev (surety, guarantee) of a tovah yoter HaBrit.
23 Not only this, but it was the fact that the former kohanim were many in number, because mavet prevented them from continuing in the office of kehunah.
24 But because Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach continues l’olam (forever), he has an unchangeable Kehunah.
25 From which also he is able to completely deliver to the Geulah (Redemption) and Yeshu’at Eloheinu the ones approaching Hashem through him, als (since) he has Chayyei Ein Sof (Endless Life) and always lives to intercede in techinnah (supplication) for them.
      26 For such was for us, indeed, a bekavod (suitable) Kohen Gadol, chasid, tamim, tahor, nivdal from chote’im (separated from sinners) and exalted above HaShomayim;
27 A Kohen Gadol who does not have daily need-as do the other Kohanim Gedolim-on the one hand, to offer up zevakhim for his own averos, and then to offer up zevakhim for the averos of the Am Brit. For this Kohen Gadol offered up himself [Isa 53:10], once and for all.
28 For the Torah of Moshe Rabbeinu appoints Bnei Adam as Kohanim Gedolim, Bnei Adam with frailties, but the dvar HaShevu’ah [Ps 110:4], which came later than the Torah of Moshe Rabbeinu, appoints HaBen [Ben HaElohim Moshiach] who came to shleimut (completeness) l’Olam.
      Now what did Jesus declare:
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”
      Peace Be With You

The trouble is...the earliest Christian story was about a "god/angel" announcing someone else. Over the century after the story first appeared (and I tend to treat its appearance as 66-70 c.e.), the story morphed a bit. The person originally announced was relegated and the Jesus/ISU character upgraded to "messiah" status, complete with new "birth stories" and genealogies.
It was part of a "Two Powers in Heaven" thing.
So...while Islam may not have Jesus as a God/Angel...they still have a Jesus.
And for some reason they think of Mohamed as the "Arabic paraclete" even though an Idumean-related person already was that, at least 500 years before Mohamed.
Two Powers in Heaven tried to make out that HaShem was a "lesser" God, Plato's "Demiurge." That the ISU/Jesus was son of a "higher, supposedly-Good God."
Perhaps that paradigm might have been easier to mull over and eventually reject...but unfortunately, Irenaeus and the proto-Catholics added a newer paradigm that made it harder to detect.
Regardless...Jesus as "God/part of God/Second and Independent God is a null idea. So too is that he might have been a prophet...because I think that idea came more out of the Samaritans' ta'eb idea than it ever came out of Torah.
Samaritans and Hellenicists really seemed to be the big fans of it initially anyway.
In the end...Jesus isn't the God of the Torah/Tanahk. He's just something that eventually progressed from the first PSEUDO-Hebrew narrative that Sanballat the Horonite set in motion. He's not a prophet...because as the Samaritans' SINGLE prophet like/greater than Moses...I don't think he's done much for the Samaritans themselves. That's acutely noticeable by their current state of affairs.

I don't base my belief in Jesus on him being God, or performing miracles, or raising from the dead, or being born from a virgin.
In the Tanakh God uses the conjunction "if" to indicate human responsibility. Of course if bad conduct reaches a certain level of fulfillment you may reach the point of the proverbial "writing on the wall," in which case it's too late.
In Malachi 4:5-6 it is stated that Elijah will return. presumably if this was a supernatural occurrence, who would not unite together as God wished? But if this was a more organic manifestation such as Elijah working in spirit with a particular person as it seems Jesus suggested was John the Baptist's designated role, in response to his disciples question: "Master why do the people say Elijah must return?" It may take a deeper more mature spiritual life to perceive or accept such words from Jesus. A prophet should be able to see this phenomenon of cooperation, of which such said ability is described by Paul as the Gift of the Discerning of Spirits which is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The prophets had the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the exception of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. That is to say, all the gifts enumerated by Paul were present with the prophets. There did not seem to be the expulsion of evil spirits except in the instance with Saul to the same degree that it was a feature in Jesus' ministry.
We can see that Jesus' disciples were not versed in scripture through the question they asked to Jesus: "Why do the people say Elijah must return?"
Jesus preached in the synagogue first. Blue collar disciples were his default choice.
He said John the Baptist was the Elijah.
The Messiah comes to fulfill the Will of God = Original Purpose of Creation. The mission of the Messiah should be understood from the perspective of mission, not personality. He is the Second Adam. If Almighty God cannot save man without man's portion of responsibility being fulfilled, why is it reasonable to assume that it would be different for the Messiah who comes to fulfill the Original Purpose of Creation? From this perspective The Messiah does not come to die. Paul could not explain this. Jesus was born free from satanic accusation. This was his qualification to be the Messiah. Satan's purpose is to induce the Messiah to throw away his mission. When Jesus was not accepted he could not abscond to Greece. He had to say, "unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." Therefore is death was a secondary plan contingent upon his heart being able to not be accused and made to curse people through resentment. Through the phenomenon of rebirth, and spiritual experiences that can be mobilized (the Baptism of the Holy Spirit) a foundation had to be recreated for the Second Coming of the Messiah. multi racial Christianity on the world level is this foundation.

A good follow-up question would be that how come Christianity is not exposed for what it truly is - a Hellenistic Reform Pseudo-Judaism movement!

John's Gospel Shows Strong Evidence of being Edited.
Let me show you an example.
    John 20:30-31
30 Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
This was the original ending of John's Gospel.
But there is another chapter in John's Gospel....chapter 21.
    John 21:25
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they *were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself *would not contain the books that *would be written.
This is the ending that we have now in our Bibles for John's Gospel.
This is proof positive that John's Gospel was edited and this makes it unreliable

Stuart Shephard...not only that...it also shows signs of being somewhat Gnostic...and seems to be a lot more Samaritan than most people would realize. Hardly anyone here might have heard of the Samaritan Ta'eb concept...or the idea that...since the Samaritans after Sanballat the Horonite JETTISONED the real nevi'im, they could only look to a SINGLE future prophet like/greater than Moses, fit to usher in a "new, more perfect law." The problem seems also to have an innovative section of Samaritans who weren't exactly orthodox in the Samaritan sense, called the Dositheans or as Muslims know them, the Dustan. Either way...once one DOES know a bit more about the Samaritan ideas...John 4 comes across ESPECIALLY as more to do with the Samaritan Ta'eb concept. And John 8...two accusations. One of them Jesus answered. The accusation about being a Samaritan? He never replied to that one. There seems to have been a writer around the mid-2nd century who brouoght a Gospel of John into being...and around the late-2nd century, Irenaeus definitely edited it.
But the kicker is...even if John's gospel were written in 110 c.e., it would still be AFTER any works by Philo...who spoke about the Logos WAY earlier. BUT, Philo was a Hellenicist-Jew, trying to mix Hebrew Scripture and concepts with PLATO and GREEK PHILOSOPHY.
Even the writer of Acts seems to have been aware of the early Samaritan and Hellenicist threads. Acts 3 and Acts 7 definitely show some Samaritan ideas...including Stephen thinking SHECHEM was where Abraham buried Sarah, not Hebron.

Most Christians don’t understand Jesus’ prehuman existence and they don’t understand the personal naming conventions Hashem used to describe spirit beings, which carried over to certain human tribes in the east. Western cultures are not too sophisticated in this area, and are confused by this and other orientalisms. Another issue comes with translation into English, which is vague and primitive compared to Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew.

Jesus was a Jew, He believed the Shema and he even taught the Shema.(Mark 12:29) Jesus never claimed or believed that he was God! Sadly The Trinity was forced upon Catholicism at the Council of Nicaea in the year 325AD. Modern mainstream "Christianity" is a mixture of Paganism and Christianity. True Christianity rejects the pagan doctrines.

    • @4321grp
      @4321grp 3 года назад +1

@Lidia Magdalina The early church didn't believe in or even teach the Trinity until the year 325 AD. That's when it was forced upon unwilling Bishops at the Council of Nicaea of The Catholic Church. Nowadays, unlike the past, with the internet and availability of old history books, the truth is available, just seek it. "I didn't know" will not be an acceptable excuse on Judgment Day. The question of; Who is Jesus? Was asked and addressed by Jesus himself. The answer that he received and he accepted as the correct answer should also be accepted by all true Christians without argument, and without adding to or subtracting from it. The same answer that Jesus accepted .
Matt.16:13-17 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven”.
We can learn from scripture by what it says, and sometimes we can also learn from scripture by what it does not say.
When asked by our Blessed Savior, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God," Jesus was pleased by Peter's answer. He did not correct him, neither did Jesus add to Peter's answer, instead Jesus praised him, and told Peter that his answer did not come from anyone's own personal opinion, but was divinely inspired by The Almighty God of Heaven.
So again, when Jesus asked Peter, "Who do you say that I am?" Did Peter give Jesus an incorrect answer? Or did Peter give Jesus only a partial answer to his question? Did Peter forget to mention something else? No, Peter's answer pleased Jesus because it was the perfectly true and correct answer, lacking nothing, and Jesus told Peter his answer to whom Jesus is, was inspired by The Heavenly Father.
So why then should we follow the traditions of men, and add to Peter's perfect answer?
Jesus asked Peter "Who do you say that I am?" because our Savior wanted it recorded in scripture for all mankind, both present and future, to know who he really is! If we disagree with or add to Peter's correct answer to whom Jesus is, we are arguing with Jesus and we're also disagreeing with The Father, Jesus Christ's God. Who Is Jesus? Case closed! Jesus answered the question; I believe our Savior!!! Don't you? Jesus settled the controversy, That's good enough for me.
(Eph.1:3)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Noone in the old testament was born again and being that true men of God (i.e; Joseph, Moses, Ezekiel, Isaiah, etc) did not have the holy spirit living on the inside of them essentialy should be a clue also. I've heard people for years say if you are not born again (holy spirit living in you) you'll be eternally separated from God forever in hell. So if it was possible to go into the kingdom without being born again that in itself should show it was by both the law and grace as prior to Jesus these men/prophets also made some stupid decisions/mistakes that were quite drastic, Moses being the most obvious of course and failed in different ways with what God wanted him to do, but yet God still used him and didn't reject him. It's never by grace alone but by us loving God and keeping his commandments through repenting and coming to the end of ourselves. God is trying to make it simple for us to understand but unfortunately we still question him...

      2. In both God is Merciful there's no motion of a necessary human sacrifice as atonement for sin. In both God forgives to those repent and reform their way according to His commandments (Ezechiel 18.21-22 and Qur'an 3.135)
      3. In both God doesn't incarnate but manifests His signs in creation.

Ok I have always thought that Jesus subjected himself as it is written in philipians made himself I.e. humbled himself in a fashion of a man I know you know about kabbala & Ein soph so isnt possible that God in somewhat of the same way through an avatar simular to how he controled the Angel of the Lord he himself became submissive ? I love God im sure no one here believes me they and you think im an evil pagan who doesnt know God. I fight with many christians because they need spoon feed theology if u question your bashed and bullied ! So I guess I dont fit in anywhere shalom

Why I ask, if Christians are so into the new Testament, why did and I ask again, why did they include some and I say some of the Old Testament which refers to the Jews?.. Christians should only read a book of just the new Testament if they want to go by that Yahshuah is the messiah.. Evidently they want to pick and choose what they wanted to put in the old Testament to try and I say try to make it look good for their uneducated belief.

    Ask Jesus who you are?
I suppose he will never say I am the God nor the son of God.
If you read bible he never said like that with his own mouth initially but someone else said it first than he said it.

I do not believe Jesus as God but I know he is really brave and rightous man who was agaist Roman empire, the barbarian without Torah.
When Korea was a colony of Japan abot 70years ago there were many martyr who fought against Japan and were cought than executed by them like Jesus.
So every Korean people do respect them even some people make small temples for them as regarding them as God.
I believe it is really similar to Christianity.
What I want to say is this I think Jesus was like martyr
who love his own country more then his life.
So he chose this way to meet pilate the governor in israel at that time and proclaim that I am the king of Israel to show pride of Israel even though he had to face threaten of death on a cross.
I wana let you know one thing about Korea tradition.
If a korean die with whatever reason he was no longer called man, human being, but guisin in korean this means a god or a ghost, spirit.
In this sense Jesus might be a god like any dead Koreans!
